Becoming a Butterfly

All these little butterflies helped me transition into my own butterfly last night. I was wondering through this beautiful forest and suddenly I was surrounded by the tiny creatures. Their little wings tickled my skin and one even landed on my nose!

Midsummer Enchantment Hunt

Two of the lovely items I am wearing today are from the Midsummer Enchantment Hunt that started June 24th and lasts through July 10th. Art Deco Darling

I feel a little like a Showgirl in these fabulous group gifts from Swallow and SlackGirl, and I’m perfectly fine with that! It’s been a while since I showed some pretty makeup and accessories, so these group gifts are just the thing. It’s extra fun that they all happen to look so lovely together!

SlackGirl is one of my favorite stores for makeup in Second Life. There seem to always be group gifts as well, which certainly doesn’t hurt. This gorgeous lipstick is part of the huge Clarice set available FREE to all SlackGirl group members. This particular gift is for the Catwa head-wearers only. The gift includes 3 huds with 8 lipstick shades each. I really like the high shine of these lipsticks, it’s a nice departure from the matte lipsticks you see a lot. Also at SlackGirl, along with many other gifts, are these pretty little eye jewels. These FREE group gift eye jewels can be worn with mesh or classic avatars. The gift includes a left and right attachment, and a hud that allows you to adjust the jewel color, and the metal color. The SlackGirl group has a one time join fee of 100 lindens, however I’m certain you won’t be disappointed, there are several group gifts still available including the ones I’ve shared here.

I will admit, I don’t often wear earrings in Second Life, but I think these are beautiful! These art deco looking earrings are one of several FREE group gifts out at Swallow. These beautiful earrings include a color change hud as well, and can be resized using the hud. I’m sure you’ve been wondering about the pretty butterflies floating around my hair! These are another FREE group gift at Swallow. This butterfly headpiece comes in several colors and can be sized via touch menu, I of course chose this orange color because it reminds me of the Monarch butterflies I love. At the original size this accessory is more of a hat, but I used the resize scripts and scaled mine down to look more like a fancy fascinator. The Swallow group also has a one time join fee of just 30 lindens. This is a steal when you consider the lovely group gifts available!

Finally, if you like the pretty face Pru has on with the red eyeliner that goes so well with the lipstick from SlackGirl, it’s another of the Corrie gacha appliers Essences has available for just 75 lindens per play at The Liaison Collaborative ! Kindred Spirits

Hello my FabFree Dears! I hope no one minds that I’m doing two ‘Fairy’ themed posts in a row. I couldn’t resist when I saw that BlueMoon Enterprises had put out this great new Group Gift: The Summer Fae.

I’m sure our readers who are more role play inclined are familiar with BlueMoon, the shop is full of beautiful RPG / fantasy/ medieval clothes and items. But even if you aren’t “one of us”, you can still appreciate this gorgeous dress. You get the lovely underdress, I’m showing, plus the gossamer wings and a lovely lace-like over dress. I’m also wearing the “Baby’s Breath Wreath w/ Butterflies” from Tamiron Forge and it’s a prize in the Medieval Fantasy Faire Mini Hunt going on till July 19th. The Medieval Fantasy Faire has a ton of great designers and a gacha garden as well. I was unable to find a web site for them ( other than what I’ve posted here) or a list of the Mini Hunt participants. If any of y’all out there have that info I’d be thrilled to get it.

Another prize in the Fantasy Faire Mini Hunt is the ‘Celtic’ necklace from Acios. The simple elegant design is compliments by the huge HUD wil four metal choices and the twelve stone color choices. All about the Birds and the Bees

Hello and Happy almost the weekend, Fab Folks! After you’ve all perused the HeatWave event at the Wash, you might want to keep the good times rolling with a Hunt or two. Might I suggest the “Birds and the Bees” Hunt from I&R’s Fun With Hunts.

I’ve picked this fun little sun dress from D.O.R.K. to show off today. I love the butterflies print paired with the simple black top. Then I saw the gorgeous butterfly covered necklace and earrings from Stars, I knew they were meant for each other.

La Boheme supplied more butterflies for my nails! There are two styles for SLink nails in La Boheme’s gift. The pastel butterflies ‘Happy Mood’ and ‘By the Sea’.

So while there are lots of birds and bees in the Hunt… I seem to have focused on the butterflies! 😛 Either way, this is a fun 1L per prize hunt with 93 stops. I’m betting you’ll find something to love!

ChiChickie floats away in Azul and :SMC:!

Greetings!

I have so many cute and fabulous things to show you today! First, there is this amazing FREE April group gift dress from Azul (FREE to join). I LOVE all the colors in it…so vibrant and fun! Azul has been around a very long time and always makes such beautiful gowns, for top models and MVW contestants, so I was pleasantly surprised to see an every day dress put out as the latest group gift. RockMeAmadeus but SweeterThanCandy … DEJAVU (or just a dream)?

Good morning … it´s 6.30 am … too much coffee to keep me awake … now I´m sleepless in Vienna …:-))

Let´s start with the amazing hair, it´s a groupgift from +++DEJAVU+++. Look at LilKim Lovell`s (owner of DEJAVU) profile to join for free because the group is a bit tricky to find. The “HalloweenGift!!!” is dated 9/23, it´s still in the archives but hurry before its gone. The blonde hair is named “Gokumori Ageha”, the black hair “Yuruhuwa Ageha”. QUICKIE: YIP´s PEACOCK and ANOUSKA

On we go we 2 amazing outfits by YIP: the wonderful Peacock Outfit and the lovely Anouska Oufit. Both for free and located at YIP`s in a small room on the wall (your landingpoint is almost in front of it). I don´t know how long the outfits will be there! So better hurry and grab it while you can.

At YIP´s there is also a cabin with a chair in it. Sit on the chair and watch yourself posing …… a funny harmless peep show (assuming that you wear clothes)!

Peacock and Anouska come both with string, bra, shirt, skirt, headpiece, nipple covers, belly covers … so many options to wear it! And besides there´s a Self Covering Pose included in the Peacock folder.
