Treasure Hunt

Good Tuesday morning, FabFolks!

Fall is a great time for Hunts in Second Life. We’ve got everything from the ultra difficult Twisted Hunt to some of the more casual hunts. I decided to relax a little with this next Hunt over at the Kiyomizu Sim. This is a neat little sim set up like a Japanese street market with lots of fun things to explore. From now until October 11th, Kiyomizu is having an “Autumn Treasure Hunt“. Just find the little “Ninja Cats” hidden in many of the shops for a free gift. Some of the cats are hard to find but most are pretty easy. One word of caution: some of the shops have hidden their Ninja Cat in the main store rather than the market shop. So if you can’t find the kitty grab a landmark to the main store and try there.

Now what I’m showing you today… First is this sweet cardigan and dress combo from M*Motion. The soft color is just right for fall and I love the pattern on the dress. It’s sheet music! So cute and creative! (MMotion is one of the shops to hide the Ninja Cat in their main store)  Memory has set out two Ninja Cats for the hunt right there in the booth at the street market. I’m showing the earrings and the other prize is just as nice!  Rounding out my outfit are these leather sandals from SMC. This prize comes with both a men’s and women’s non rigged version of the shoes plus a TMP version and a SLink version for Flat feet.

This is a fun quick hunt in a nifty little sim so don’t miss it.

Open Your Heart For It Needs To Be Free

I have some really great freebies to show you in this post. I hope you will enjoy them. First is the new group gift by Belle Epoque which is the very beautiful Margaret Dress. What I love about this is that it comes in two parts, so you can wear the top and the skirt seperately with other pieces or together as the dress. The fur wrap comes with it also and can be worn seperately too! The group is free to join! My shoes are the Ladies Loafers by SMC and are a freebie on their Lucky Boards. The cute socks are also included. My tote bag is a dollarbie that can be found on the marketplace by NoiRiLiCiouS and I think adds the perfect touch to this cute ensemble.

The glasses that I am wearing are the Elation Glasses that are a subscriber gift from Meisu. I thought these were really cute and I always love to find great new glasses to wear. My hair is an oldie but goodie free group gift from Tukinowaguma. I was reminded of it the other day when someone asked in group chat about a freebie bun updo so I thought I would include the details in a post for anyone else who might be looking for something similar. It comes with two HUDs of colours that include natural and fun colours.

Kawaii Mini Hunt

I love all things cute and adorable.. so the Kawaii Mini Hunt is just the perfect hunt for me! There are lots of really great cute things in this hunt and lots of new stores that I hadn’t heard of until doing it, which is always great as I love finding new places to shop!

What a lovely night for a beach stroll.

Recently, the powers-that-be behind the Womenstuff, Menstuff, and Homestuff groups, moved and updated the ‘Stuff gift lounge. Along with this move comes new gifts from designers, as well as a waiving of each of the group join fees for a limited time! Normally these 3 groups are each L$50 to join, which is well worth it, believe me, but free is awesome. This blog would not be here if it wasn’t 😛 . There’s nothing like a moonlit beach stroll to show off 2 of the many available gifts for the Womenstuff group right now. If neither of these are your taste, head over anyways, as there are loads of other gifts.

First is this absolutely lovely white dress from Wicked. The Evelyn Strapless dress is mesh, in the standard sizes, and it fits like a dream. Well, at least the standard medium does on me. I know I tend to go for big, bold patterns, as well as in your face colouring, but sometimes it is nice to be simple and classy. I hope you can see enough of the pretty pattern on the bodice, as I forgot to get a good close-up…doh! Any brides-to-be reading this and looking for a simple white dress, I really think this would be gorgeous with the right accessories, and you really can’t beat free!

The other gift I am showing you is this really pretty skin from Tir na n’Og. She is called Anouk, and comes with a cleavage, and no-cleavage version, both with brown brows. I really like the contrast between the strikingly made up eyes and the lightly glossed lips. While it did not come with any appliers, I do know that there are appliers for their skins in their main store, so it is possible that there would be some that match this skin. I just pulled out the SLink hud and colour matched, so if you would like to know the numbers I came up with, feel free to IM me 🙂 The feet were a breeze, the hands were tricky. Other meshy bits, I would not be so helpful on…LOL.

SLiving Vicariously

Hello Fabulouses! The long awaited weekend is finally here, YAY!  Now… if only the RL rain would quit, I (the real me) could enjoy it as much as Love Trill is in her cute beachy summerwear.  I will have to SLive vicariously through her today and soak up some virtual sun and sand :).

Love’s outfit today consists of some newer lucky board prizes that are available at SMC.  I was lucky enough to snag the Bustier Top in Red, the Denim Shorts (which have great detailing on the back pockets – shoulda done a butt shot, sorry!), and the fun Swim Rings too.  The Swim Rings come in two versions… One to wear over your shoulder and one around your waist – I have edited the placement of the shoulder ring to work with this pose.  There is no need to join a group to play the lucky boards at SMC, although it’s a good idea so that you can become alerted of news and offers.

Socks In My Sandals

Good afternoon Fabulouses :).  I generally try not to wear socks in my sandals out of fear that I may be endlessly teased about looking like a retired Floridian, but this time – it’s “adorbs” in my eyes, so tease away!    This entire outfit including the bustier top, maxi skirt, frilly socks and ribbon sandals is a free KIYOMIZU hunt prize made by SMC.  These sandals are made for the slink flat feet so you can wear them without the socks (if you must…), however if you are wearing the socks – you don’t even need the feet on!

The KIYOMIZU Sim Summer Hunt began on June 21st and runs until July 13th.  All of the prizes are free, so head on down to the sim and do some hunting for “ninja cats” to score on some sweet summer prizes from participating shops!

Caught In The Rain On The Way Back From SMC

Hey Fabulous Readers 🙂  I have some super cute things to show you today!!  Last week I showed you a few SMC lucky board prizes (HERE and HERE) and that may have seemed like a lot lol, but there are MORE!  Even after showing you these prizes it isn’t all of them lol.  You’ll probably be seeing another SMC post again soon.

More SMC & A Sneak Peek of TRUTH Hair @ The Arcade Gacha

Hi Fabulouses!
