Wearing of Da Green

Kiss me, I’m Irish! Everyone can be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. The FabFree St. Patty’s Hunt is still on with loads of great prizes. If you need a festive green outfit with shamrocks, pots of gold, and kittycats (that’s not really a St. Pat thing. I just love cats.) I’ve got a scoop for you. Head to Telsiope’s Couture and grab these and you’re ready to dazzle all you meet. Today I’m showing off two of the hunt items from Telsiope’s Couture.

In the pic above I’m wearing the Erin dress. it comes with a texture changing hud containing 5 different textures. I’m sure you can find at least one you’ll like. I opted for a less green version and was able to complete the outfit with a few things I already owned.




I sure hope the parade didn’t pass me by. Seeing the empty beer bottles scattered about I did fear I’d missed it. That was what’s left of the pre-parade party. They sure drink a lot of beer here. This glam dress, Erin, courtesy of Telsiope’s Couture will set you back $1L. I love the way the cat texture is placed on the dress. That kittycat looks so much like my real life cat, it’s freaky!

I just don’t want to go home right now

It’s weird to think that FabFree and I are pretty much the same age; the blog is only like 2 months older. No wonder it feels like I’ve been reading FabFree my whole SLife. I probably have been! FabFree’s 15th birthday party rolls on, and I got all of the clothing (including shoes!) that I’m wearing today from the FabFree @ Fifteen event ! If you haven’t had a look at the tremendous list of free and discounted items here, than you are truly missing out. Luckily you’ve still got a couple of weeks to take it all in. I just loved how great these went together for a cute and casual look to wear around the grid. Here’s what I’m wearing, from top to bottom:

Top

The top is by Glitter and it’s free. Do I need to say more? Certainly not but that typically never stops me. It comes in a HUD of “strong colors” so like your dark greens and blues and reds. Such a casual, fun, and easy to wear style. Perfect over a perfect pair of jeans. Don’t worry, we’ll get to those next! Sizes:

Middle

Yes, the jeans. These are one of those great pairs to throw on when you need something to wear and you know they’ll look fabulous. They are 499L from rainnn for FabFree @ Fifteen and really just so versatile and well made. Included is a HUD full of denim colors and sizes for Legacy and Maitreya.

Bottom

Yes friends, we’ve reached the feet. My flip flops are by rainnn as well. It’s the stipes pack and are rainnn‘s 15L item for the event. I don’t think there is any way I could have possibly rounded out this outfit better than with some cute flip flips. The stripes pack includes 11 stripy patterns in a HUD and these sizes:

I am ready to accept my Oscar! I am hoping that the Fabulously Free in SL blog is going to win best blog of the year, so I had to get decked out for the ceremony. 😉 You all know how much I love putting together a look for a glamorous night out!

Red Carpet Look

My entire look today is made up of some of the beautiful offerings available for FabFree at Fifteen.

• alaskametro<3 has a pack of beautiful glitter blush out as their 15L item. It includes face glitter in several metallic colours at full and 60% opacity. This set includes Omega appliers, Universal BOM layers, classic tattoo layers, and Lelutaka EvoX BOM layers.
• Finally, my eyes are a 75L deal at Gloom. These include Lelutka and Omega appliers, and they come in BOM options. The pack includes 12 eye colours and 3 sclera options.

A Dream in Teal

The highs and lows of Second Life sure really are lofty and rock-bottom, aren’t they?  Either we’re rolling around on the carpet eating piles of food, hoping the day will end, or we’re getting glam and heading to the ball.   Today I’m the girl who’s got it all together – the lighting is right, the hair is sitting just so and I haven’t consumed a carb for at least 20 minutes.   I’d say that’s something to celebrate!
