Becoming a Butterfly

All these little butterflies helped me transition into my own butterfly last night. I was wondering through this beautiful forest and suddenly I was surrounded by the tiny creatures. Their little wings tickled my skin and one even landed on my nose!

Midsummer Enchantment Hunt

Hey FabFam, I know it’s late ( in my part of the world anyway) so I’m going to make this really quick.  As ya’ll know, the 2022 Hair Fair is going strong and hopefully you’ve visited. There are some awesome designers participating this year and many booths have a little gift for us. The best gift, in my opinion, is this lovely photo – op hair from No_Match.

This is “No Press” and you can grab it for free at the No_Match booth. The hair is static but it’s perfect for pictures. Which, you know… we do a LOT of! 🙂  Plus, you get a full fatpack of colors with No Press too. 

I wanted to sweeten my post up a bit, so I rummaged around on the Marketplace and found this cute little flower crown for just 10L! This the “Honey Flower Crown” from Sweet Intoxication. It’s an older build but it still looks very nice and I’m picky about such things. But this one is staying in my closet.

Freezie Run

There’s something very 90’s about heading out in a slouchy pair of jeans and a miniscule top.  It’s all very TLC (like… the musical group) and makes me feel rather summery while harkening back to the days where you were on school break and heading off to the corner store to buy freezies while listening to your walkman blare tunes.  Welp, I’m dating myself again, but I’m ok with that!

Feeling Fair

You’ve all heard by now that Hair Fair is in full swing, with plenty of free gifts for all and sundry.  I stopped by the Sintiklia booth and got this very chic low and loose chignon bun.  There are quite a few options for the bangs, so you can make it your own quite easily.  I also added the free gift from Ersch which can also be picked up at Hair Fair.  It’s kinda like the Statue of Liberty when she heads out to rock clubs.  Anyway.  I won’t be headbutting anyone with this thing on, promise.  You don’t need a group to grab these items, just buy for 0L!

Changing of the Seasons

Hey FabFree! I can’t believe spring is already over and summer is here… it’s time to move out of these spring clothes and get ready for summer fun! I am soooo pumped for July – you don’t even know how much. The FabFree@15 Event is coming on July 8th, and part of the reason I’ve been posting so much in the last week is to I can prepare to blog our first event! I’m so excited for this summer! So, now I’m back with new post, and this time it’s to show a free hairstyle and some free makeup to keep you going until the event starts. 😉

It’s time to show more free hair from the Hair Fair! I am wearing the free gift from Ade today. The “Lia” hairstyle includes a style-changing hud, different sizes to accommodate different head sizes, and several colour huds. Lots of New Gifts @ Pout!

The makeup items I am wearing today are all products from Pout! that I recently found out are free.

• First off, Pout! has some cute new group gifts. I am wearing one of them right now, which is a set of BOM eyeliners in 4 different styles made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX heads. Their group is currently free to join, and there’s a load of past group gifts to pick up as well!

Here’s a fun BOM tip! Make sure that you apply the eyeliners after the eyeshadow. You always want to “layer” your BOM layers on top of each other. You can also re-arrange them by “editing” your outfit and moving them up in the order you want them to appear on your avatar.

Hunting for Fairies!

So as you are all aware of (or you should be!) the Fab Free Enchanted Forest Hunt is in full swing!  It is a theme I love because I am all about fantasy!  When I do a photo, I feel like I am creating a character and that character has a story!  For instance, my character today has some sort of mystical thing going on, her outfit, her magical sphere, where she is (some secret forest place?).

I know you want all the deets so lets do it.  😉  Both my items can be found in the Fab Free Enchanted Forest Hunt, so get your hunting shoes on (or do it barefoot, Like I do!) and do some hunting!

Fairy Hunting!

My dress is one of five from Ruxy, it fits Matireya and Legacy.  All her hunt gifts are only 1L and all very cute!

My orb/sphere is from Afterparty who makes so much fun glowy stuff.  This is a 5L gift.

How to get them?  Just find the little rainbow fairy hiding in the store (some stores have several!) pay them and they will give you a gift as a thank you for finding them!  Such cute, generous little souls!

I’m sure you’re all aware at this point that August is soon coming to a close, and with it it shall take the summer (for the most part…September can still be a scorcher where I am!).  I’m enjoying every minute of those precious rays by strolling down the beach and probably wearing stuff that would make me sweaty in RL.  But you know my SL body doesn’t come with sweat glands, so it’s all good!

A Huge Hat is What You Need

There are so many great gifts at The Hair Fair, I’m sure you’ve been reading all about the goodness here on Fab Free.  I found a fun accessory at the Iconic booth – this enormous chapeau that flops ever so alluringly.  It comes with an extensive HUD to change to a whole host of tropical looks, but I kept it pretty basic with black trim and a cute saying.  And oh, yes.  it’s FREE!

She Still Shines

I have been in a bit of a latex mood recently, and though you might not normally wear this fabric to stroll on the sand, I say just go for it.  I picked up this slinky little dress over at Beauty Factory.  I joined their group for 99L and it was all mine.  There are several other great gifts there too, so the join fee is beyond worth it.  The Vanjie dress comes in both pink and black and is a whole lotta fun.
