Macrame Day

I decided I needed some salty air and beach today. The waves are breaking behind me, making it a perfect spot for surfing. Luckily, surfing in SL is a whole lot easier then RL! Also, while I am checking things out I’m wearing a cute beach/boho outfit. Perfect for the beach; not for surfing. It’s all about looking cute, isn’t it?

I’ve been a fan and member of Graffitiwear for many years now. Chalice is always sending out group gifts and updating both the Midnight Mania and lucky board. The group has a join fee of $25L. However I just slapped the board without activating my group tag. You can try your luck. When you go there check out the sales and vendors on the first floor; there’s always something great on sale.

Belle of the Ball

Happy Saturday, Fabulous Readers!  I’m feeling a little under the weather, so I’m going to skip right to the details about this stunning, free gown.

Pretty as a Princess

As soon as the group notice popped up on my screen, I teleported immediately to the Sofia store.  The Eitana Gown Dress is their latest free group gift.  It is crafted from gorgeous raspberry fabric with a subtle sheen.  I love the sexy one-strapped bodice that leaves your shoulders mostly bare to shimmer in the starlight.  It features a full, flared skirt that has lovely drape.  Since it is floor-length, I saved a bit of my hard-earned Linden dollars because I am not wearing any shoes….shhh, don’t tell anyone!   The gift folder also includes special lighting/atmospheric effects that you can add to enhance the texture, but I didn’t wear it for my photo.  To scoop up this beauty for yourself, you need to be a member of the Sofia group.  There’s a 150L$ join fee, but oh my goodness, I would have been happy to pay that amount for this gown alone, and now I get to look forward to additional free gifts in the months to come.

Hey Fabs!  Exciting news for the guys today! (and women too!)  Cold Ash, which started in Second Life as a men’s store, but has also expanded to some women’s clothing, is 10 years old!  They’re celebrating in our favorite way, by putting out new free gifts and having a sale.

500 Club

This is not a drill – there is 500L in store credit to grab over at Belle Epoque!  Janire (the designer) is celebrating a RL birthday and is very generously giving group members 500L to spend on whatever they want in store.  I love love love this little mod dress in hot pink which cost just 349L, leaving me a bit more moolah to play around with.   The gift is available until the 23rd, and you have to spend it before then too.  Word on the street is that there’s a big surprise for group members after that date too!  The Belle Epoque group is 50L to join and there are constant gifts and surprises.  A great group to get in and stay in!

Happy pre-Friday, Fabbies!  In my last post here, I told you about a couple of Wink Price special offers from Anastyle, and I’m back today with another outfit from the store, but this time, it’s completely free.

Sweet Raspberry Stripes

The free Nathalie Outfit from Anastyle includes a striped sleeveless top that features a teardrop cut-out at the neckline and an extra-long hem, which is gathered on one side.  I find the pattern on the shirt to be quite happy and bright.  Also included in the gift are comfy white flared pants.  One thing I love about the outfit is that it is dressy enough for an afternoon out, but also perfect for just chilling at home.  I didn’t notice until I was typing up this blog post that the designer also tucked white high-heeled sandals, a bracelet, and earrings in the folder to complete your look.  They are really cute and I wish I had included them in my photo!
