Bring on the Ghosts and Goblins
In my last post, I told you about one of my hunt discoveries, and today, I am back with another. I decided to explore the Hunt on Haunted Hill 5 this weekend. Over at the MadCatCreations Boutique, I located the hunt object (a cute little ghost) paid the one Linden dollar prize fee, then scurried on home before nightfall. Believe me, I don’t want to be out on any haunted trail after dark! With a realistic, heather-gray cabled knit texture, long sleeves, and generous hem, this sweater is sure to keep you warm in brisk weather. I like the vee-shaped, plunging neckline and appreciate the dark scarf decorated with spooky skulls. If the autumn winds get too strong, I can always wrap up. 🙂 You can wear the sweater and scarf together as I am showing, or separately for added versatility. Hello there, Fab Free! With the new month, we have a bunch of hunts that got started, and I eagerly hit the trail of The Boo Bunny Hunt this week. My favorite prize of all is this adorable tank top. It makes me smile every time I see it, and I picked it up for just a small fee (plus a bit of time spent searching).

Hello, Fab Free! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend. I decided to spend some time today exploring the Whispering Windz sim. If you are looking for a lovely place to visit, I’d highly recommend taking a journey there yourself. It has meandering paths that work their way through a beautiful fall landscape. Before my idyllic afternoon, I picked up a couple of free gifts that I am excited to share with you.
But First, Lipstick
I decided to check out the 18th Round of MIIX Event this morning, and I’m so glad I did. Right at the landing zone, there is a free gift set out for members of the Hype Events ::: News and Offers ::: group, which is free to join. The Make Me Matte Lipstick Set from Opulein is compatible with Lelutka Evo and Evo X, Genus and Catwa HD Pro mesh heads. ‘Tis Bat Season
I am a kid at heart and look forward to October 31st every year, so I decided to get my Halloween vibe going a little early. Over at Mister Razzor Body Shop, I joined the group for just 10L and picked up a free ear tattoo as a group gift. It is comprised of a small cauldron of bats – or is it a colony? I am not exactly sure, but I call it adorable! Created exclusively for the Lelutka Evo X mesh head, this gift includes a 100 percent version as well as a lighter 75 percent option. I love how it is playful the design is!

I always look forward to the 60L Happy Weekend Sale, which runs Saturday through Sunday. With a very reasonable price tag of just 60 Linden dollars per item, you can pick up some wonderful additions to your SL wardrobe without breaking the bank. Today, I scored the Jola Dress from Meva. With ruffled short sleeves, a laced bodice, and a flirty hemline, this ebony frock is ideal for early fall, and I have to say, the color is perfect for October. If you toss in a witch hat and broomstick, it could even double for a Halloween costume. The folder includes versions for the standard and petite Maitreya mesh bodies.

Over at [The Forge], I found another Happy Weekend offering for just 60 Linden dollars – a pair of over-the-knee stiletto style boots. They look like they were tailor-made to coordinate with my new dress. I really like the added detail of the golden buckles, which contrast beautifully with the buttery soft leather of the footwear. Fortunately for me, my avatar has no problem maintaining her balance on the slender heels of these curve-hugging boots. I opted for black to coordinate with my dress, but you can also find the Hellen Boots in seventeen other colors (each sold separately).

Happy Last Day of September, Fabulous Readers! The month flew by for me, and it’s hard to believe it will be October tomorrow. Today’s post features a free camisole top that I opted to pair with a jacket because of the cooler fall temperatures. That being said, I think it would also work well worn by itself or coupled with an overshirt.
Crisp and Clean
I love the contrasting hues in my outfit today. If opposites are not your cup of tea, my new tank top from Arata Shouten will coordinate well with just about anything because you can easily edit the color. The folder includes two options for the camisole, a white and a gray tint that you can customize by right-clicking and selecting edit. After that, you’re limited only by the colors of the rainbow! I decided to stick with a bright white, but the sky’s the limit. Best of all, I picked it up for a grand total of zero Linden dollars and I didn’t need to join a group. The top is BOM, so you have to have a mesh body with BOM enabled to be able to wear it.

Hello Fabulous Readers! I don’t know about you, but I can’t resist the color purple. Today’s post features a gorgeous formal gown that I picked up for free as a hunt prize in the Twisted Hunt Fall 2021 (Beyond the Veil). This is a time-sensitive post because the event draws to a close on September 30th, but this beauty is well worth a journey down the hunt trail.
Fit for a Royal
With its slightly puffed upper sleeves, intricate print on the bodice, and “v” shaped waistline, the free Clyra gown flatters your curves. I love how the full-length skirt drapes gracefully to the ground and is loose enough to make it easy to move without being cumbersome. I felt so elegant as I wore it, and found myself searching for a castle to visit. Although it’s not designed specifically for a mesh avatar, I was able to get the perfect fit by adjusting the alpha of my Maitryea mesh body. If you are still rocking a classic avatar, the included alpha layers will allow you to opt for wearing the dress with and without your feet showing. As I stated earlier, the hunt runs only until the end of September, so if you like this frock as much as I do, head on over soon to *DSO* (Designs by Starla) to do some sleuthing of your own. Hi there, Fabulous Readers! The other day in my post here, I shared a pretty floral dress that I picked up as a hunt prize over at The Free Dove. While I was searching high and low for the hunt object, this cute sweater caught my eye. I don’t know about where you are in the world, but the days around me are getting a bit on the chilly side, so I was happy to add a cozy item to my wardrobe (even if it is just in SL).

Hello there, Fab Free! I couldn’t resist spending another day at the beach during this end-of-summer holiday weekend. As you can see, things didn’t quite work out the way I had planned. At least I was able to enjoy my latest hunt prize, even if I didn’t get to have my picnic lunch. Does anyone know of a good SL dog trainer?
I Let the Dogs Out…
…well, at least one naughty dog who stole the hot dogs. I figured I might as well ‘fess up. What better way to do it than with my new cropped tank from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Company? This gray top features the funny text proclaiming my guilt, as well as a figure-flattering fit and realistic wrinkles in the fabric. It is a hunt exclusive item that I picked up for just 25L. There’s also a 1L prize in the shop (another tank) that proclaims “I Like to Move It Move It,” but I thought this one was much more in line with the afternoon’s events. Happy Weekend, Fabulous Readers! In my part of the world in RL, this is a three-day weekend, and boy, did I need an extra day off. Of course, I had to spend part of the holiday weekend hunting for SL bargains. Inspired by Jacx’s post here, I decided to set off down the trail of the Love the Dragon Hunt 2. Now, this is not a free hunt, but the dress I came away with was well worth the tiny asking price.
Fit for a Fairytale
It took me a while, but after I finally discovered the hunt object at Telsiope’s Couture (an adorable dragon plushie), I paid the 3L fee, then eagerly teleported home to pop open the Agatha Dress. Wow, oh wow, do I love this stunning gown! The sleeveless frock features a plunging neckline, flowing cape/train, and a full, floor-length skirt. The designer even included a color change HUD so you can customize your look. While I opted for an all-white design, you have six hues to choose from and can apply them separately to the cape, top, skirt, and belt to create a variety of combinations. The only caveat is this dress is made specifically for the Maitreya mesh body. With a bit of searching time and just a few Linden dollars, you can come away with a lovely outfit perfect for a formal event or heck, even a stroll through nature – this is SL after all. 🙂 The hunt runs through September 30th.
