The summer is coming to an end and I can’t express how excited I am for the fall. I enjoy the cooler seasons during the year, the Summer Lovin’ Vibe is something I can get for those who enjoy beaches, parties, campfires, and more seasonal parties. The Good Vibes Hunt has everything you need for the last month of Summer.
It has gone by so quickly and it’s almost back to school time, which means life is finally getting back to a new normal.

Love is one of the shops at the Good Vibes Hunt and they have two items available for free! You do have to hunt for them but there is no cost at all for this cute bodysuit that I opted to use as a swimsuit. This lacey bodysuit comes in pink and a few mesh body options.

The Good Vibes Hunt runs August 1st – August 14th and features quite a few amazing designers. So get your tp hammers ready to go!

Hey Mister DJ, put a record on, I wanna dance with my baby!  I’m spending more quality me time at home with my record collection.  You know, those shiny black discs that existed before CDs? (Psst..CDs are the shiny discs that came before whatever the young’uns use to listen to music nowadays….).  Anyway…There’s nothing better than a personal dance party to shake off the blues!

This old Thing?

Right, I own a ridiculous amount of clothes in SL, but not many of them have poses that are included when I wear them!  The newest group gift from Mug is this fishnet tank top (complete with modesty pasties…well…sorta modest) that has you pulling at your straps the minute you put it on.  So much fun.  The HUD that comes with it allows you to change the colour of the little metal hearts, and also the size of the top.  The Mug group currently costs 250L to join, but you’ll find several other group gifts on the wall there!

Over it All

To pair with my new top, I picked up these free overalls (sized for Maitreya) from Addicted Apothecary.  It’s their Stay at Home offering, and is super adorbs.  I may live in them forever.  They even have a little embroidered flower on the back which makes me smile.  Of course, as with all Stay at Home Club gifts, this one is completely free.  Just pay the vendor 1L which will then be promptly returned to you.  There’s also a little halter top in the box for you!

A Beached Bunny Ensemble

Hey Fab Free! I have some last-minute finds to share with you from the Beached Bunny Hunt. The hunt ends on July 31st so let’s go through these quick and go find these hunt items! I do love putting together outfits with items from all over.  Sometimes when I need some inspiration, I need look no further than our own Fab Free group gift listing.  We have some really fun items in there, and I love shopping around for the perfect look.  I wish shopping for clothes was this easy in RL!

Stop 1

My first stop for this outfit was Coveted!  They have a whole outfit for you as a Fab Free group gift that includes shorts, a top, shoes and a hat!  I chose the top for it’s awesome texture that looks so pretty close up.  It comes in sizes XS – XL with an alpha layer.  There’s even an ethereal type of ribbon on the back that just really called to me.  Best of all, it’s all free!  Just wear your Fab Free group tag and click on the vendor that’s on the front of the desk in the shop!

Stop 2

There’s nothing quite like a good pair of short shorts for the summer.  I’m not really as adventurous as my SL-self with white shorts in RL, (hello…what if I sit in some errant ketchup!) but I totally wish I was!  This cute pair is the Fab Free group gift at ALB, and they are also (of course) completely free.  Fantastic!

Okay FabFree, this is going to be a drive by post cause we gotta get this one fast. Tip 2 Toe, formerly Changed Seasons, has opened their group up for the next few days to join for free! That’s it.. just until July 31. I really recommend Tip 2 Toe. The clothes are always top quality, there is always a group gift and lots of hunts!

Into the Woods

This is the “Sweet Dreams Collection” and it’s the current free group gift. I loved the night gown/dress at first sight. It reminds me of those gothic movies where the heroine comes running through the dark spooky forest in her frilly night dress. You know, where she stumbles right into the villain so the hero can swoop in and save her. Anyway… you get the lovely dress and a set of matching nails with a Maitreya and Omega HUD.

I have been spending this fine afternoon with magical creatures on a carriage ride in Witchwood. I absolutely love exploring their sim and all the dark and witchy elements in the landscape. Today I will be showing you how to get this magical dress I have on, which has a lovely fire trim and flames on its sheer sleeves. It’s simply wicked!

I have no idea why “Love Shack” by the B-52’s is stuck in my head today.  I suppose there are worse songs to have stuck in my head, but it just keeps going around and around and I don’t know where it came from.  So I’m escaping the shack and heading to the coast for a peach slushie and a bit of peace!
