Sometimes I am pretty certain I enjoy the fantasy version of cold weather much more than the reality of cold weather. As a southern girl I find I am just not cut out for all that a white winter entails. Virtual winter however is an entirely different story. I love the beautiful winter settings and the ever falling snow. I also love the excuse to have an extensive winter wardrobe. I’m a sucker for a pretty sweater. This cropped cable-knit sweater by Beautiful Dirty Rich is free for store group members. Right now the B.D.R. group is free to join. The sweater is their latest group gift, and there are several previous group gifts still available. This fuzzy little sweater comes in quite a few sizes, and has a color change hud with 30 solid color choices. The hud will also allow you to custom tint the sweater. Honestly, it was hard to pick which color to wear!

That said, the earrings and necklace I am wearing are together the free gift by Cae at FaMESHed. I love the classic look of this jewelry set, and all of the customization options. If I’m being accused of enjoying the freebies I picked up at The Jail event, guilty as charged! I know I know, I already did a post about the event, and the fact that they’re having an anniversary. I just couldn’t help sharing a few more of the fantastic gifts. Simply Saddii
I really like this little black dress by Simply Saddii, and not just because it’s free at The Jail event. I like the style of the dress, and I feel like it has just the right amount of whimsy without being too juvenile for my taste. Again, this dress is free, just wear your Jail event group tag and click the gift vendor at the Simply Saddii both.
The chest tattoo I’m wearing is the freeJail event gift by Immortuos. It reads “guilty” and I find it dark, a little bit cheeky, and really well done. It also comes in “irritation” levels which gives it some added detail that most lettering tattoos. The irritation shows as the redness around a freshly inked tattoo or perhaps skin irritation around the letters for some other reason.
Finally, the planchette and hold pose used for this photo is part of the free gift by Dark Love at The Jail event. The gift includes 4 planchettes, each with a different hold pose. I thought this gift was just too cute to not share. The planchettes also have a little particle effect. They emit cutely sinister looking little particles while you hold the planchette.
Hello Fab Free! This is absolutely my favorite time of year. This is when I can be as spooky as I want to, and no one seems to mind. That said, I think my level of excitement over the Halloween Shop & Hop events might have been the most excitement I’ve felt about an event all year. With several sims full of festive Halloween goodness and freebies, I can’t imagine not being excited. That said, I have several of the freeHalloween Shop & Hop event gifts to share with you. I sincerely hope you love them, I do.
As Aline mentioned in her recent post “The Magic Words” there are 8 total Halloween Shop & Hop sims. Most (if not all) of the participating shops have a free gift, with no group required. Some gifts will require you to pay 1 linden, however you will be instantly refunded. For this look I picked up the free gifts from Pink Cream Pie, #Adored, The Annex, On a Lark, and ChicChica. Pink Cream Pie
My thoroughly blood splattered top is the free Halloween Shop & Hop gift by Pink Cream Pie. This gift comes with a color change hud that has several solid colored tees all with generous amounts of blood splatter.
The free Halloween Shop & Hop gift by #Adored is the cutest little brow tattoo. It reads “Spooky” with the option of wearing it on the right or the left side, in cursive or bold lettering, each with the choice of bold or faded styles. This tattoo comes in tint-able BOM layers only, which gives the added option of having the tattoo in color.
The Annex
I particularly like this fun devil horns headband by The Annex because it glows like neon. It comes in several color choices, so you can wear this fun accessory with multiple outfits. They are also of course free at the Halloween Shop & Hop Event.
I think there’s a rule that says you can’t have Halloween without a black and red manicure. Okay, maybe not, but in my world these bento nails by On a Lark are a must this season. On a Lark has 2 darkly pretty manicure sets as free gifts at the Halloween Shop & Hop event. The ones I am wearing are part of the “Halloween” set that has 4 black and red variations in the set.
Finally, my creepy cocktail is part of the free Halloween Shop & Hop gift by ChicChica. The gift includes two fantastically macabre martinis. Also, each of the Halloween themed drinks has a bento hold pose. Have fun Fab Free!
