With the beginning of a new month in Second Life, comes so many wonderful group gifts too! Innuendo is no exception. They have a new group gift out for the ladies – well actually it’s 1L, and you don’t have to join the group even – it’s just priced at 1L, but it’s called the August Group Gift! This sweet dollarbie includes the mesh floral printed ruffle dress, with the flower belt, the matching bracelets and also a pair of shoes which are not shown in the photo, but are indeed included.
I love the “dog days” of summer, when the evenings are warm, the days are shorter, and you know that fall is just around the corner. At least, in SL, that is. Where I live in RL, we typically don’t get a “summer”; it’s just more of the same fog and gloom, day after day after day… I seriously need to pick up one of those SAD lights, pronto! Anyway, Gavin dropped by with Duncan this afternoon, and we had a fun time out in my Persimmon Summer House by Lisp. You can still pick one up today (I hope!) in a variety of colors for 188L at Collabor88. The pink tub of foxgloves by the door is a free gift from La Galleria.
Gavin is wearing Ocean, one of two men’s group gifts available at YDEA. The gift includes the mesh shirt, shorts, and “mandals.” He’s also wearing the “3th Year Anniversary” group gift hair from *Dura*, which comes in a great, big fatpack of colors. Care showed you how this hair looked on the ladies last month, but it works great for the guys, as well! He’s also wearing an earring and bracelet by AIDORU, which you can find as a MENstuff group gift over at the Lounge. As for me, I’m wearing Lazy Summer, a group gift by Prim & Pixel, which includes the knotted top, capri pants, and belt. There is a new gift out now, but you can still find this one and a BUNCH of past gifts on the back wall of the store. Oh, and this fun pose is a dollarbie by Seil Xpression on the Marketplace.
My skin is Cecilia, the August group gift from .::WoW Skins::.. This one comes with and without cleavage, but did not come with appliers this time; however, I was able to use appliers from a previous gift in the milk color to match my mesh hands and feet. My hair is Nana, the latest group gift from Miss C, which also comes in a great, big fatpack of colors (I ❤ fatpacks)! My necklace is an oldie, but a goodie, and has been shown here several times by various FF bloggers, but I still love it. You can pick up the Gold Heart Key in 3 sizes at the Energy Club.

Aeva has a very sexy new group gift skin for it’s inworld members, and the group is currently free to join! I have seen it carry a fee at times, so now is a good time to get in there and grab a free gift too! The skin is called Paris ~ Lacrimosa GG and features the dramatic eye detailing, glossy lips and a mid-cleavage. You will receive this skin in a whopping eight skintones (I’m wearing 4) with short and long eyelash tattoo layers as well as a teeth layer, eyebrow shaper, and a shape (I’m wearing my usual shape). Another thing that is included, that I think is SUCH a great idea is a pair of mesh feet in plenty of sizes to suit your avatar in all eight skin tone colours – so that means – never any skin matching!
The Black Breathless Bodysuit I am wearing is not free, but it is fabulous and it helped me to show off one heck of a free skin! It’s a new release at 1 Hundred, available in several sultry shades and comes with Lola Tango Appliers. The Shae Jewelry Set I am wearing however IS free, and is a brand new subscribo gift that Pure Poison just sent out to it’s subscribo members! If you aren’t in their subscribomatic – head down there today and get in on it! There are always plenty of gifts coming through there!
Occasionally, I would pick up some awesome freebie but would never have a chance to wear (mostly because its so crazy/scandalous/fantasy people will stare at you. hey i’m modest in SL too!). Now that I’m a blogger, I thought I could finally show you some of these items that has been/will be sitting in my inventory. A couple of these items includes ANGELDUST and Mirror’s Enigma gift for the Dare2Bare Hunt. (Heads up! The fabulous Harajuku Oh will be making a full cover of this event soon!) I also never got the chance to wear this Rare Lulu skin from Glam Affair I won from the previous Arcade gacha event.
These picture’s are taking in Chouchou’s cathedral (to get there from the typical Chouchou landing point, click the ladder and select Momento) to complement the fantasy look. Usually I would have to tweak my sun and sky settings a gazillion times before taking pictures, but I found the default windlight setting in the sim just perfect! Yay!
Skin – Glam Affair – Lulu 12 ( The Arcade ) RARE (previous Arcade Gacha event)
Hang on to your superhero capes, this one is gonna be a crazy mash-up! To begin with my BFF tp’d me to a store I’d never heard of before called ..::KnocKeRs::.. This is a great place to pick up vintage/rockabilly hair and clothing at a very reasonable price, PLUS while you are browsing you’ll have count them,…TWO lucky boards which give the outfits I am featuring, THREE gatchas which have a dress and swimsuits all for 30L a try, a Dare2Bare hunt prize (which I will show soon) AND a group gift for 0L (the group gift is 25L to join)….
Now while I was dressing for this post, I decided to use a pair of pumps that I’ve had for ages. I thought it would be a good idea to see if the store was still around, and yes! (Angel Alphaville) It’s more like a landing area, but everywhere you look is free or greatly reduced pumps! (and yay, no skin matching) I found 5 pairs of pumps for 0L, 3 pairs 10L each which are red, pink/black spotted and T-strap snakeskin pumps. Also you will find a Midnight Mania board and three Lucky Letter boards.
Takes a deep breath! Ok by the time you get all this unpacked and shown off to your friends and significant others, I’ll be back to show you more (a “superbloggers” work is NEVER done! haha)
The Chapter Four has opened its doors once more so all you gacha-gladiators, discount-dominators and cheapie-champions best get your warpaint on and head on over! As always, there’s a new group gift for each round. This time it’s this adorable floral dress and I can tell you now I don’t want to take it off at all. The house, table and photo frames are from the ionic gacha machine at TCF and my angel chairs which you can just see behind the curtains are from Half Deer and are also available at the event!
My cute minty flats are 10L$ on the marketplace by Just Dreaming and I figured they brought out the little green leaves in the dress quite nicely. Also available on the marketplace is my necklace which Love covered here.
Yesterday I mentioned I got a free skin from My Ugly Dorothy, well today I’ve found some pretty freckle and blush tattoo layers from a new skin shop that just opened up called Lemomo. They have 3 freebies on their wall along with 3 dollarbie walking sound effects and their skins are just so adorable and sweet! You can get the berry freckles tattoo, the ‘I luv you’ blush tattoo and the happy blushing tattoos for 0L$ instore. The skin I’m wearing to show these off is not free, just so you know.
