Hello Fab Free’rs! Hope you’ve been having a fantastic Halloween! I just found some lovely group gifts from Gloomy Thought, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. First, this lovely dress is called the “Mourning Dress” and the lace-like texture is beautiful. I love the style, and the accent buttons! To go with my pretty new dress, I found this darkly sweet looking skin from My Ugly Dorothy, the lips make me wonder what exactly happened, but somehow they suit the outfit perfectly! No dress would be complete without accessories. Considering opal is the gemstone for October, this pretty lace and opal choker with matching earrings from Maven Designs are more than perfect! Every outfit needs just the right pair of shoes! I adore peep-toe shoes, and I think these heels by Blackburn are adorable with this dress.

I am absolutely in love with these peek-a-boo shorties! These mesh shorts are another group gift from Gloomy Thought. I can’t get over how sweet and sexy they are with the bum cleavage and the sweet bow in back! hehehe I chose a plain black tube top to go with these shorts, and I think my new skin from Ugly Dorothy goes equally as perfectly with this outfit as it did with the dress.

The Chapter Four has opened its doors once more so all you gacha-gladiators, discount-dominators and cheapie-champions best get your warpaint on and head on over! As always, there’s a new group gift for each round. This time it’s this adorable floral dress and I can tell you now I don’t want to take it off at all. The house, table and photo frames are from the ionic gacha machine at TCF and my angel chairs which you can just see behind the curtains are from Half Deer and are also available at the event!
My cute minty flats are 10L$ on the marketplace by Just Dreaming and I figured they brought out the little green leaves in the dress quite nicely. Also available on the marketplace is my necklace which Love covered here.
Yesterday I mentioned I got a free skin from My Ugly Dorothy, well today I’ve found some pretty freckle and blush tattoo layers from a new skin shop that just opened up called Lemomo. They have 3 freebies on their wall along with 3 dollarbie walking sound effects and their skins are just so adorable and sweet! You can get the berry freckles tattoo, the ‘I luv you’ blush tattoo and the happy blushing tattoos for 0L$ instore. The skin I’m wearing to show these off is not free, just so you know.

My Ugly Dorothy is back open after a long Hiatus and their skins are as adorable as ever! I’m wearing the freebie skin they’ve set out in their new store. You don’t even have to join the group, just buy it for 0L$! Inside the box are two versions of the skin (one with teeth and one without), a free shape and an eyebrow shaper! How can anyone resist those freckles!?
Two new group gifts have popped up at Umeboshi recently. These pretty eyes are just so beautifully detailed. The group is free for you to join and you can also pick up Umeboshi’s past group gifts, play their luckyboards and even swipe up a couple of 10L$ cheapies while you’re at it!
My dress is also a freebie from the My ugly dorothy sim. It’s by Loveme and the mini dress come in 3 different colours. The vibrant red, which I’m wearing above, a sultry navy blue and a luxurious pitch-black! Needless to say I felt very glamorous.
The Moimoi marketplace store has lots of 0L$ accessories. You heard right. Free stuff! My clutch bag and my Love rings are both free from the store along with many other items from pants to tops to bikinis to lingerie! Both of the accessories come with a colour change HUD for you to customise them to match any outfit you might own!
And whilst we’re on the topic of free accessories, my necklace also happens to be available on the marketplace for 0L$ by Modern Elegance. It comes with two colour options, a grey one and the black one you see above. It’s simplistic but very modern and I think it looked sweet on my minimalistic outfit!
And finally, my hair ribbon is also free from Pautina. I tinted it black to match my outfit but the pattern on it is gorgeously summery. A girl can never have too many hair accessories!

I’ll start with this lovely Vintage Console Table & Mirror. You can find this mesh set for FREE at RnB Designs Furniture after you locate the Stupid Cupid Hunt icon which is a cupid arrow. Together they are just 5 prims… Now you know why I picked it up… because it’s got my name on it – but it is a fantastical piece you won’t want to miss out on either!
The set of lavender and rose mesh nighties with matching slippers is a free Cupid’s Arrow Hunt prize at SAKIDE. It includes both colours of the heart printed nightie in several sizes and matching slippers. The hunt icon you are searching for is a heart with arrows through it.
The dainty jewelry set I am wearing today is a free gift from Alienbear that dates way back to September 2009, but it is super cute, and still available to group members (free to join), along with a huge abundance of previous gifts. You’ll need to join the group to enter the building, but it will be well worth it once you get in and see ALL of the gifts!
Love the skin I am in? Me too.. and it was just 1L! This is the latest dollarbie (#7) that is up on the wall at My Ugly Dorothy. The previous 6 are still available as well. It features a youthful look with rosy cheeks, and pink glossed lips.
In November, I had done a free hair round up with 50 free hairstyles, and it had such a big response through comments, notecards and IMs that I thought our Fabulous Readers might enjoy a free skin post too! I have put together a list of 40 free (0L – 1L) skins in Second Life. I could have probably put together a list with 100 free skins in SL because there are so many generous skin designers out there, and probably 40 alone just in Mother Goose… My goal was to get to 50, but I just couldn’t bring myself to change my skin even one more time lol, so we are at 40. ENJOY!
I needed a little break from the cold and snow and ice and “general winter yuck”, so I headed over to the beautiful little garden over at the new Acid Lily location for some sunshine. Of course while I was there, I put together an outfit.. because that’s what I do! lol…
Acid Lily has a couple of cute group gifts this week for their inworld group members (free to join). One of them is the red F*ck You top made by CandyMetal. It comes with the big boobie appliers, but I don’t have those, so you’ll just have to use your imaginations. My freckled pale skin with cheery red lips is a #6 dollarbie skin at My Ugly Dorothy. They just keep adding them – YAY /!
There is one particular flavour I always head first for, and while it is pretty uncommon in hard candies, it is my favourite… Black licorice – YUM! There is a dollarbie skin sitting out at My Ugly Dorothy with black dripping from the lips that had me MAJOR craving the sweet black treats. I added a smoky cat black eyeshadow made by L.Fauna to this skin to complete my look. I never did find a black licorice lollipop, but I did find some free modifiable lollis on marketplace and made my own by editing the colour! Problem solved 🙂 I spent a long time standing around in this skin with my black lollipop wondering what to wear with a unique skin like this, and then it came to me – little black dress. Innuendo‘s newly released Arlene Dress was just what I needed (not free)!
I accessorized it with the ^^Swallow^^ Lion Earrings that are an instore freebie and the Resin Chain Necklace (colour changeable), made by Miam Miam Jewelry that Xiu helped me find on marketplace for just 10L.

One of the things I really love about Sn@tch is their 7Seas Fishing Pond. Every couple of weeks Ivey switches out the prizes, which are always very generous and complete with footwear and accessories and sometimes they are several pieces that mix and match to make multiple outfits! Currently, she has an outfit put together for us that includes 20 pieces called In The Midnight Hour. It includes the top, corset, scarf, gloves, skirt, leggings, boots and also the earrings. You do have to purchase a 7Seas Fishing Rod from the vendor for 100L, but there is no need to purchase bait… and you can use the same rod over and over again for different prizes, so it’s a smart investment! There is always a group of people in there trying to catch their pieces which is to your advantage – because you can also transfer and trade the #s you have extra of for the ones you need which makes it a little quicker!
My Ugly Dorothy has another dollarbie skin set out! This is Special 1L Skin2. It features s a very pale complexion, thick lined eyes, ruby red lips and a beauty mark with a very light sprinkling of freckles across the nose.
