For those of you *Fabulous Readers* who enjoy wearing lingerie, I have found that one of the best designers in Second Life for that type of apparel is Blacklace. They are always bringing out new products and have recently added Lolas Tango appliers. The fee to join the group is 99 Lindens, and at the beginning of every month, a new group gift is set out for members.
The group gift for August called Amor Plum Embroidery Gown is a lovely violet colored corset with garters, panties and stockings, in multiple layers so you can customize your own look.
My accessories are the Dreamers necklace by Bijoux Rachel and the Madam Pearl Bangles set, both of which can be purchased on marketplace.
“Why is it that every day I wear a hat, the wind comes?”
It’s been a super busy week for FabFree with all of the new writer additions and I haven’t had much time to sit down and actually blog, but today I stole a block of time to show you a couple new group gifts you might be interested in picking up!
The gorgeous and feminine poppy dress I am wearing today is the latest group gift at Vero Modero. It comes in several sizes with co-ordinating alphalayer and even includes a floral shoulder attachment (I liked it without, but it’s a great add-on for those who like a little something extra)! The group is free to join, and there are tons of other gifts to pick up, so head down there and see if there is anything you’d like! Make sure you drag your man along for the ride – there are a ton of mens group gifts as well.
The skin I am in, is Mirror Enigma’s latest group gift! Audrey is one of their newest releases, and this month group members can snag 2 makeup styles in the skin tone shown below with cleavage and eyebrow options. When you make a purchase at the Mirror Enigma’s Mainstore, you are invited to join their inworld group. After joining their inworld group, you gain access to monthly VIP gifts. Anyone can purchase these skins for 45L, but group members with their tags activated are refunded the total amount after purchase.
ps. There will be one more new blogger announcement tomorrow. Thank you again to everyone that applied 😉 I wish I could just add you all!
Hi Fabulouses! Welcome to my first FabFree post! Ok, Ok, I’m not actually in PARIS, but that’s the name of the outfit I am wearing! For this post I decided to use items from both in-world locations and items which can be purchased on Marketplace.
The outfit I am wearing is by Silent Fashions. It is an entire ensemble which includes a dress, belt, bracelets and pumps. I liked the versatility in that you could chose to wear the arm attachments or leave them off, either way looks great.
I have accessorized with a pair of color changing sunglasses by K_gs. The frame and lens have multi-color options and there is also a resize menu in case they don’t quite fit.
The necklace I am wearing is from Miam Miam Jewelry, this is one of my go-to items because it has options to change the chain color as well as the heart.
My shoes are from Plausible Body. One of my pet peeves in SL is having to color match skin and with these, it’s not an issue. Lastly, the lipstain I have on is from beauty by alaskametro and my eyes are an old group gift from Poetic Colors, I just checked though and there are 2 new gifts out as group gifts.
As you will soon come to find out, I am a huge Duran Duran fan, so I thought it would be fitting to take my first photo at the Duran Duran Universe.
I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, and never hesitate to drop me an IM if you have a question or find FABULOUS freebies you think deserve to be blogged!
Thank you everyone at FabFree for the warm welcome.
NSP Florals has a new group gift! This pretty orange wreath is perfect for a summer stroll through the country. The group has a 10L$ join fee but I think it’s definitely worth it. They pop out new gifts every so often and if you’re a sucker for florals as much as I am then you’re gonna love them!
My hair is a luckyboard prize from Le Muguet at the Kiyomizu mall (I spend a lot of time there, lots of luckyboards and freebies to swipe!). It’s really pretty for a non-mesh product and I’m a big fan of the muted ash colour! Normally I’m a real stickler for mesh hairs, but it pleases me when I find something just as good. I know some of you aren’t big fans of mesh, so here’s a little something for you!
This adorable mustache bag is free on the marketplace! Sixboi’s is a new brand in SL and they set out this awesome giftie for you all. It’s definitely up there as one of my favourite bags so far so you guys might see some more of it in the future! Also free on the market is my necklace by Duh! I felt like I needed something to tie the wreath and the dress together!
Hope you’re all having lovely weather where you are (it’s roasting hot in England, yesterday it hit 32°C!). So I think I’m going to sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
We have a new FabFree writer on the block! Her name is Lanai Lubitsch! She has been a Second Life resident for nearly seven years and has blogging and photography experience. She is normally found in feminine dresses and heels, but considers herself eclectic and switches up her look on a mood based whim! Lanai loves finding freebies and helping others find freebies – which makes her a perfect fit!
