Free Lunch

I got up this morning and found that Fergus – that naughty horse – had vanished! I searched all of his favorite landmarks, and finally found him not only making himself at home at Sol Farm but also helping himself to a free lunch.

And in true Fergus form, it looks like he’s making some new friends along the way, lol! 🙂

New Gift From The Painted Pony

The Painted Pony is one of our favorite stores for appliers and accessories for the Water Horse Bento Riding Horse. Earlier this week, they sent out a gift to group members: the Island Pony “Summer Bay” Coat Applier. Fergus (above, left) managed to slip his on before he slipped out of his stable this morning.

To grab your gift, join The Painted Pony’s in-world group and download the attachment from the notices.

NOTE: Gifts for The Painted Pony group members are only sent out in notices, and will only be available for 14 days until the message falls out of notices. Group gifts are NOT available in the store, so please don’t go looking there!

(That said… there are a couple of completely free, non-group gifts available in the store, including a box of demo textures and the Crispin coat applier that we shared in THIS POST RIGHT HERE.)

Not sure how to use a coat importer? Just wear your Water Horse and it’s texture HUD, and then rez the coat importer on the ground. Click the coat importer and it will automagically install the new coat in your HUD. You can find it by opening the texture HUD, selecting the desired body part (in this case, the body), and clicking the “Imported” button. Your new texture will appear in the slider; click to select. And… voila! 😀

As a side note, be sure to check out the Water Horse Creator’s Faire going on through the end of August at the Water Horse Mall. It’s a great opportunity to see what various vendors have for sale for your horse, and a few of the vendors even have gifts and gachas available. In fact, if you like the Summer Bay coat, you can pick up additional versions of the Island Pony Coat Applier from The Painted Pony’s gacha machine at the Faire for 100L a pull.

Greetings, fabulouses!

I’m just heading out for a night on the town, but I wanted to stop by the blog to show you this pretty new gift from Eloise Baker for members of the Fab Free in-world group.

The Rose & Lace Dress is delicate and feminine, and it comes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies. The dress has a definite vintage flair, but you can also give it a more modern twist, as I’ve done.

Oh, and it comes in several other colors, but the lovely lime version I’m wearing here is FREE. 🙂

More Gifts for Men

L’Homme Magazine SL is celebrating its 4th anniversary this month, and 20 of SL’s top designers have set out gifts for members of the L’Homme Magazine Readers Group.

I’m wearing a couple of the gifts today:

• My beard is the gift from Mister Razzor. The Luigi Facial Hair comes in black, grey, and a tintable version for Catwa mesh heads, and black and tintable versions for Omega-compatible heads.
• Kalback set out a fatpack of Sweat Shorts as their gift. They fit Gianni and Jake mesh bodies and come with a HUD containing 8 different underwear patterns and 9 patterns for the pants.

About the Bike

This cool mountain bike is a gift from Animosity for the Men Only Hunt 11 (MOH11). It includes the Billy Pose Pack with 8 different poses. Animated and non-animated versions of the bike are included.

They’ve also set out some really lovely gifts, two of which I’m wearing here.

Galvanized

Happy Hump Day, fabulous readers!

I decided to shoot some hoops this afternoon and managed to find some great group gifts to wear on the court!

A True Fit

First up is my shorts and t-shirt from Galvanized. The Tru-FIT Shorts and T-Shirt come in sizes for the following mesh bodies:

I’ll give you a little tip, though. I found that the Belleza t-shirt didn’t really fit my Jake body correctly, and I couldn’t alpha out a spot in the front. So, rather than have to Photoshop the spots out of the picture, I’m actually wearing the Signature shirt. It’s a little bit around the collar, but nothing major. Also, the TMP shirt isn’t black, but olive green! This may have been fixed since I picked up the gift, but it was kind of cool to find a different color in the box.

Super Socks

A great pair of trainers needs a super pair of socks, so I was lucky to find these awesome Thermal Socks as a free gift at VALE KOER. Sizes include:
