Hoop There it Is

I just happened upon this gift, so I have no idea how long it’s been there or will continue to be, so if you want it, the time to go is as soon as you finish reading this post!

Natural glamor

I was at FlowerDreams the other day and noticed they had a 500L gift card available for their group members.  Yep, the group is free, so I snatched that up, attached it, added it to my store credit, and I went shopping! (You can find it on a sign just outside of the gifts building).

I really love her flowy part flexi gowns, but I don’t have the occasion in world to wear them often, so I went shopping in the casual building.  I chose the Diane dress, and it was 300L for the fatpack, which made it free with the 500L credit!  Now the fatpack is all very slight shades of pastels, they are very light.  This dress is pink, but in some lights it’s difficult to tell.  I also thought the sleeves were thoughtful, you can change them between 8 different patterns of lace or you can keep them solid like the dress.  It comes rigged for:

Hi there! I was pleased about this sale at Ersch, plus it reminded me to go get my free group gift credit!

First let’s talk about my dress.  It’s the Florya Dress, and it’s a group gift from Dark Cat.  It’s a fatpack and has a bunch of solid and patterned textures in the hud.  It’s located on the group gift wall (it’s a caspervend scroll thing so scroll if you don’t see it).  The Dark Cat group is 10L to join, a steal for a cute spring dress, hey!  It comes sized for:

Does anyone remember who said that?  When my brain is being weird, it is being WEIRD.  That was a quote from Snidley Whiplash from the cartoon Rocky and Bullwinkle!  (I hope Fuku is reading this post)  I went to Cupid’s Curse that Aline told you about HERE and came home with a ton of free gifts, and I didn’t even need a group!

I Thought I Had You Figured Out

Hi there! Today I bring you, group gifts that I should have already had, but didn’t.

I Thought I Had Them All

First up is Chain, with the classic “I’ve been a member of that group foreverrrrr, of course I have all of the free group gifts!” It’s sound logic, but for me and Chain it was not the case. I certainly have *most” of the free group gifts, and there are a lot of really lovely ones. But when I popped in to check out a weekend sale, I noticed this great hairstyle front and center on the group gift wall and I did not own it yet. I quickly corrected the situation and you can too. Just go to Chain, make sure that the group tag is activated, and snatch it up. The hairstyle is a fatpack of colors, styles, and also textures for the fuzzy headband. If you’re not already in the group, it’s 75L to join.

I’ll Grab It Next Time

This one is just silly, really. Why would you plan on getting a free group gift later when you could get it now? I’m in FashionNatic fairly frequently because they put cute things in the Tuesday sales. I grab the sale item and then I already have a pretty new thing to wear, and if I were to grab another pretty new thing, like one of the free group gifts, it might just sink into the black hole of my inventory and be forgotten. OK just to be clear, I’m not a bridesmaid!  Nor a bride (phew)!  I do have a friend who might have a SL wedding though, and she sent me a LM to this gorgeous SIM and I just had to find something to wear in a blog picture here.

Above is the short story of how I came to be dressed in this lovely gown, looking for a wedding to crash. 😉   This SIM, The Anchor, needed something glamorous, and I had just picked up this beautiful gown as the latest free group gift from Purplemoon.

The gown comes in PBR and fallback textures and has a lovely subtle floral pattern to the skirt, and a lovely sheer back that I couldn’t show you in this picture.  It’s a fatpack too!  It comes sized for:
