Les Jolie Fleurs

Hello Fabulouses!  While out looking for antiques, Ripley and I stumbled across a new-to-us shop called FAFA.  As I wandered through the store, drinking in all the vibrant hues and tribal prints, the pupster did what he does best……..he sniffed out a free gift.  All I had to do  was switch to my SL Frees and Offers group tag, tap the vendor, and I took home a sweet new tank top – all for zero linden dollars!

That’s about the extent of the French I still remember from high school, but the heading really seemed to fit this gift.  Featuring delicate blossoms and greenery scattered across a cream colored background, the Fleur Tank is *almost* long enough to double as a short dress.  With the right pair of leggings or tights, you could definitely pull off a dressier look, but I opted to don on a pair of beige pants for a more casual outfit.   Where I live in RL, it’s still plenty warm enough for tank tops (still in the triple digits here), and one of the best things in SL is you can wear whatever you please and still be comfy and cozy, so this top made a welcome addition to my wardrobe.  I bet it will to yours, as well.

Zsa’s Bloody Outfit

Strangely enough, Zsa appears to be one of the few people on SL that doesn’t like Halloween.  However, when she saw the new group gift from Belle Epoque. she begged me to let her blog it.  I must admit it is very impressively made, I particularly appreciate the edging on the shawl which gives it an ethereal quality.

The outfit is fitted exclusively for Maitreya and consists of separate skirt, top, skirt and shawl.  The gift is free, but the group does cost 10L to join – however, there are a number of other (non bloody) free group gifts available so it is well worth joining.

Greyscale

My hair today is the latest group gift from Navy & Copper, the gift is free and the group is also free to join.  It comes in a fatpack so there is plenty of choice but I again went with one of the grayscale shades which Navy & Copper do so well.

I found this ultra feminine bra, high waisted panty and stockings set from Rouge Noir on the Marketplace for just 1 little Linden! Rouge Noir has offered this complete set for just a very limited time so don’t delay grabbing it up if you like it. It’s genuinely my favorite time of year, and I am so excited to be able to share with you this delightfully ghoulish group gift from Cureless along with the perfect accessory from CHAIN. I hope you love this festively macabre look as much as I do.

Ready for my Close Up

I’m ready for my closeup today!  It’s a lovely Saturday in my part of the world, and October is creeping up on us, filled with all its delights.  I’m only slightly inching toward the realms of the creepy and autumnal, so I won’t toss you into the deep end quite yet.  Anyway, I’ll just be quiet and get to the gifts!

Fab Free Designer of the Week – 09/29/2018 – Artizana

Hello Fab Free’rs, and happy weekend! I am excited to share with you another designer of the week, Artizana. Seriously, how pretty is the photo of the Artizana exterior and the front desk?! I have to tell you, the grounds surrounding the Artizana store are as equally worth exploring as the shop itself. The interior reminds me of the art nouveau style. Artizana is self described as a fashion house established in 2007 with fashion for both men and women. Yes, you read that right, there is menswear at Artizana.  Their unique style is inspired by African culture, so expect to see lots of vivid prints and vibrant colors.

Artizana’s in-world group has a one time join fee of 99 linden. If you shop with your Artizana group tag, you’ll get a 5% discount on purchases. Also there are quite a few Artizana VIP gifts, including one men’s semi-formal outfit. Each of the items pictured above is a free VIP group gift. In the same area of the store you’ll also find a few lucky letter chairs, and additional gifts for other store associated groups.

As you can see there are quite a few gift items to be had at Artizana. In this area is also of course where you’ll find the exclusive Fabulously Free in SL group gift. This gift is free to all Fab Free group members. You’ll need to wear your Fab Free group tag to claim this gift. I love finding “new to me” shops in Second Life. There’s probably millions of shops and designers… you’d think it’d happen more often…. Anyway, it’s still something to celebrate. especially when the new designs are as sweet as this one.

Zsa’s gown today is a free group gift from a new to me store. Art & Fashion.  This is just one of a whole display of group gifts in the store, you will find them directly in front of you as you land.  However, be aware that there are 2 groups, one a paid VIP group and one free, and this dress is available with the free group tag.  It comes in 5 standard fitmesh sizes (no alpha), plus Maitreya, Belleza and Slink – however it does not specify which of the Belleza and Slink bodies it fits.  It has a very skeletal, gothic feel, so would be ideal for the upcoming spooky season.
