Free “Bye Summer” group hunt at Safira

Hello again FabFree’ers, I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend wherever in the world you are right now.

I have some exciting news to share today – until Wednesday the 19th, there is a “Bye Summer” hunt at the new Safira mainstore.  You do need to be a group member, but the  group is currently free to join.  You just need to head to the Safira store, which is based on the revamped Scandalize sim, and find 10 watermelons (shown below left corner of the poster below) – thankfully these aren’t tiny, so they are pretty easy to spot – even for me!  Just remember to put your Safira tag on, buy each watermelon for 0L and run home to unpack all your boxes, in which you will find these goodies:

Most of the items appear to have a couple of options included.  I am showing you the floral option of dress #4, but it also comes in the floral/white combo shown on the poster above.  Zsa is a modest little soul so was particularly pleased that this dress, which is very short, comes with an integral “C string”, which comes with a texture change hud and the option to hide it if you wish.

As both Safira and Scandalize are currently holding group hunts on to celebrate the revamped sim, the sim has been very busy this weekend.  For this reason, the Safira hunt has been extended to the 19th.  If you find the sim full, just keep trying, you will get in eventually.  Prior to tp’ing in, I recommend you use the “show friends only” option if you are using Firestorm, and camming rather than trying to walk when you land – unless you are particularly skilled at walking in treacle while being catapulted around on a rubber band.  Sadly, Zsa missed that class at School of SL, so she cams everywhere – well, secretly, she cams everywhere because she is just plain lazy, but don’t tell her I told you that, it’s our secret, shhhh.

Fab Free Designer of the Week – 09/16/2018 – Chaotic!

Hello hello Fab Free! Remember when I said recently I wasn’t ready for the weekend. That was an understatement. Now I am not ready for it to end! Either way, here we are, and I’m glad for it. This week’s Designer of the Week is Chaotic!. Let me just start by saying this store is larger than it looks! The Chaotic! shop is a ladies clothing boutique. Among the pink flowers, unicorns, and bright pink, green, and black decor you’ll find a truly eclectic mix of casual and what I would call “club wear” clothing. Much of what I saw did appear to be mesh and come in quite a few body specific sizes. If you’re looking for something casual but with a little bit of sass and sexiness, Chaotic! just might have what you’re looking for. There are also quite a few opportunities to score some free or heavily discounted items, which of course we love!

While you’re shopping keep an eye out for the Discount Roulette boards. I spotted three, but I could have missed one. The Discount Roulette works so that you pay full price for the featured item, and then are automatically refunded a random portion for a special discount. You might even get the item for free! I also spotted two Midnight Mania board with very low targets. One is for everyone, no group needed, and the other is for Chaotic! group members only. Don’t fret, the Chaotic! group is free to join. There are also lucky letter boards, and an entire section of group gifts. The group gift section has gifts for various store associated groups. This is also where you’ll find the exclusive Fabulously Free in SL group gift. This gift is free to Fab Free group members. Don’t for get that Fab Free group tag! All in all, there is plenty to make Chaotic! a unique and fun shopping experience!

A Hint of Fall

Where I currently am in the world, it’s still flipping boiling out.  I trudge to work in the heat, spend all day in a non-air conditioned space, feel my face melting off for several hours, then squish my way home in the heat before finally arriving home to a well earned shower.  I shouldn’t complain about the heat, I know in a few months time I’ll be shivering until you can hear my teeth chattering from several metres away, but just a hint of cool would be welcome.  I think Aline feels the same way, as she cozies up in her turtle neck bandying a leaf at me tantalisingly…
