Shipwrecked in Paradise

Hello Fab Free’rs! I was away for the weekend and I’m sincerely glad to be back. I love this little romper by Canimal. Truth told, despite how much I adore sweater weather, there’s a part of me that is actually starting to look forward to summer again. I’m also sincerely enjoying this cheeky red hairstyle by CHAIN. Keep reading and I’ll tell you how to get both for free or almost free!

The Romper – Incase you were not aware, Canimal has several lucky letter boards on the second floor of their main location. There is no group required for these boards. The adorable “Paradise” romper Pru is wearing is one of the items you can win should your letter appear. Nothing screams summer quite like a tropical print. This lucky letter board freebie at Canimal comes in a single mesh size and has a texture change hud with several tropical prints to choose from, and one that’s bananas. No really, the print is bananas. hehehe If I had to guess I’d say the size is a Maitreya Lara fit, though it’s not marked that I saw.

The Hairstyle – Even though red hair is usually Juli’s department, this style by CHAIN was too cute to pass up. It is their most recent group gift. This cute bob hairstyle comes with optional hairclips, and a color change hud with several pink and red hues. The CHAIN store group does have a 1 time join fee of 99 linden. Delacruz Park

Hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs! I’m so excited about bringing you posts not only about free and fabulously inexpensive items, but places you can go to have fun without spending your linden as well. Delacruz Park is a recent discovery of mine that I believe is one of Second Life’s many lesser-know but amazing locations. It’s a small but fully functioning amusement and adventure park. Most if not all of the rides and attractions are for sale, but you can experience them for free in this beautifully landscaped setting. You can even see the neon blue roller coaster in the background of the above photo! Also, I love that Delacruz Park is all decked out for the fall season.

Delacruz Park is family friendly, however it would also be a fun spot for date night or an afternoon with friends. I already mentioned the roller coaster, this second photo was taken from high up in the working Ferris Wheel. If you look closely you can spot a few of the other attractions such as the Hot Air Balloon ride, the must-see mini Stone Hinge setup. I could continue to list the number of things to see and do at Delacruz park, however half the fun is discovering all this beautiful spot has to offer. Also, I’m sure I’d absentmindedly leave something out!

Hi Again Fab Free’rs! Halloween is so close I can almost taste it. It’s genuinely my favorite time of year, and I am so excited to be able to share with you this delightfully ghoulish group gift from Cureless along with the perfect accessory from CHAIN. I hope you love this festively macabre look as much as I do.

Cureless – Clearly the designer at Cureless is as excited about Halloween as I am. Just a few days ago they sent out a notice announcing this creepy yet beautiful group gift. I want you to have it all

Have you noticed that I have this habit of blogging events on their last day? I don’t know what that’s about. I guess I just feel like I need one last hurrah with the fabulous gifts before it’s over or something. So today I bring you a couple more Cosmopolitan gifts. But wait, there’s more! I also have a great new gift that just came out last night…

Goodbye Cosmopolitan

The current round of Cosmopolitan ends today, so this is the last chance to pick up all of those awesome freebies. • The necklace by adorsy is rigged, which I love, although only for Maitreya. It’s a super cute style that I can see myself wearing a lot.
• My outfit is the gift from EB. I know that I’m not showing all of the skirt but it’s tight, short, and kinda ombres at the bottom to the same pink as the top. I love how high the waist of the skirt is – it almost looks like a dress from the back but then the front shows a little skin in between. The skirt and top are separate pieces and each comes sized for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique.

Hello Chain

My earrings are the newest free group gift from Chain. You’ve really gotta go pick them up, they are even prettier in-world. The detail is just amazing. We made it through Christmas Fab Free! What a fun but hectic holiday! Christmas may be over, but there’s still plenty of reasons to celebrate and have a good time. New Years Eve is coming up in just a few days. I personally always look for gold and silver sparkly things to wear for a New Years Eve party. This year I like the idea of this calf-length black dress from CHAIN and these stiletto booties from Hilly Haalan, both in black. Not only are they ultra sexy, they are FREE group gifts just in time for a party.

Hello there Fab Free’rs! Welcome back to the Fab Free blog. Once again I’ve found myself thinking “How did I miss these” this time about the group gifts I stumbled across at CHAIN. The CHAIN in-world group is just 50 lindens to join and there are currently 4 group gifts available. The simple yet dress Pru is wearing was their October group gift and is thankfully still available. It comes in a Maitreya Lara fit, and includes a color change hud with 6 of solid color options. I’m a sucker for classic black.

Another equally fabulous gift currently available at CHAIN is the set of stacked necklaces Pru is wearing. The necklaces are the November group gift at CHAIN. They also come with a color change hud to let you pick the metal tones and the color of the leather cord. Additionally, the fish bone choker can be worn separately from the two necklaces. I think these two gifts look gorgeous together. As I mentioned there are 2 additional group gifts available, a headband with cute lace kitty ears, and a crop top with a choker style collar.

I coudn’t help myself, I had to share this pretty ginger hairstyle from Mithral. It is another FREE gift at Hairology.
