Fab Free Designer of the Week – 09/01/2018 – Dream Couture

Hello and Happy First day of September Fab Free’rs! This week’s Designer of the Week is Dream Couture. I’m sure you’re wondering why the photo with the pretty fairy grass and the whimsical tree, don’t worry I’ll get to that. First, Dream Couture is a ladies clothing store. The shop is small but has a nice range of items from casual tops to slightly formal dresses. I’d say the style was cute and feminine. The Dream Couture shop is set up in a way that it doesn’t really have a visible exterior. That said, there are two bay windows, each with this cute tree window display. The fun part is there is a pose stand in front of each of the windows. You could take a few cute selfies if you were so inclined!

Also, if you’ve never been to Dream Couture, now is the perfect time to check them out. They are having a Clearance Sale and all the items in the shop are marked down to 30 lindens. Yes, you read that right, 30 linden! I think I might have even seen a few items marked lower than 30 lindens, but don’t hold me to that! Also, it’s a great time to pick up Dream Couture’s exclusive Fabulously Free in SL group gift. You may recall this casual red dress from Nevi’s post “Field of Many Colors.” All you need to do is wear your Fab Free group tag and click the gift vendor. Sweet September

Ah, September.  The month of new beginnings, slightly cooler weather, and golden fields shimmering in the sun.  I am wandering, lonely as a cloud (as they say), in Yorkshire, enjoying the hazy vistas and beautiful weather!

There’s a mini hunt going on over at Lana!  Join their group for free, and seriously get your eyes ready for some tough hunting.  There are three miniscule black boxes hanging around the store (don’t forget to look upstairs too!), and each contains a set of these very lovely dresses called Leona.  Each prize has a different HUD, but I settled on the exceedingly lovely rose gold.  There are plenty of other colours to be had too!

Saturday Morning Jams – Dance For Free!

I am sure you are thinking to yourself… “Love….  what are you doing here today… There is not a darn free thing in your entire photo!“… but stick with me, because I do have news of something free, it’s just a little bit different than the usual clothing, shoes, accessories that I normally show!

Get up and dance!!

I have put together a little (very novice) video to show off the free group gift at Move! Animations, which is the Taynara 33 Bento Dance!  This dance is a 35 second animation that will loop.  In the video you will see it two times, and there will be a little break in the middle because my video editing skills are non existent.  The break won’t be there if you just want to keep dancing on a loop!

You know what it’s like when you go to a new club and you can’t rez the darn dance orb… in fact you have no idea where it is, even if you have rezzed it because you are unfamiliar with the venue.  You stand there like a doofus akwardly for a few minutes until you can finally lag cam around to find it, but NO MORE!  Just play this animation inworld when you get there, or add it to your HUD!
