Nostalgia

This look brings me back to my pre-teen “Emo” days. Yep, this was the fashion style I rocked back in middle school… red converse shoes with black clothes and hair swept past half my face and eyes. Ah, nostalgia. I will admit that I’m happy those years are over, but it’s still fun to dress up Caroline in different styles all the time!

More MMB Goodies @ Moon

I have more great Midnight Madness Board prizes from Moon to show off today. As you already know by now, the VIP group is required to play their boards and the group costs 350L to join.

Makeup at Hanzel

Hello friends! Slept on Sales is ending today at noon! I wanted to bring you one last post with more great items that are in the event. This post will be focused on makeup. First up is Hanzel‘s Flavory Club set. There are actually several separate items in this set.

• My yummy little lollipop is the FREE Binge Events group gift at Hanzel for SOS. It is unrigged, there are two different versions and an HUD that controls both, allowing you to change colors.
• The lipstick is only L$55 for the set. There are 8 colorways each with 4 opacities and they come as appliers for Lelutka HD.
• The eyeshadow and blush I’m wearing are part of the set, but not on the SOS sale. Rather they are only L$65 per set for So Kawaii Sundays. The colors for both of them also coordinate with the lipstick. The blush is BOM for Lelutka Evo X and the eyeshadow is HUD applied for Lelutka HD.

Changing of the Seasons

Hey FabFree! I can’t believe spring is already over and summer is here… it’s time to move out of these spring clothes and get ready for summer fun! I am soooo pumped for July – you don’t even know how much. The FabFree@15 Event is coming on July 8th, and part of the reason I’ve been posting so much in the last week is to I can prepare to blog our first event! I’m so excited for this summer! So, now I’m back with new post, and this time it’s to show a free hairstyle and some free makeup to keep you going until the event starts. 😉

It’s time to show more free hair from the Hair Fair! I am wearing the free gift from Ade today. The “Lia” hairstyle includes a style-changing hud, different sizes to accommodate different head sizes, and several colour huds. Lots of New Gifts @ Pout!

The makeup items I am wearing today are all products from Pout! that I recently found out are free.

• First off, Pout! has some cute new group gifts. I am wearing one of them right now, which is a set of BOM eyeliners in 4 different styles made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX heads. Their group is currently free to join, and there’s a load of past group gifts to pick up as well!
• Pout! also have some new free gifts on their freebies wall. These require no group join at all. Just buy them for 0L and they are yours. From that lot, I am wearing a new pair of eyeshadows, which are also BOM layers made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX. These come in a bunch of colour options. Both gifts are striking!

Here’s a fun BOM tip! Make sure that you apply the eyeliners after the eyeshadow. You always want to “layer” your BOM layers on top of each other. You can also re-arrange them by “editing” your outfit and moving them up in the order you want them to appear on your avatar.

I’m very sad by the recent news that one of my favourite jewelry stores is closing. The Book of Spells

I have always had an affinity for all things fantasy and magical! I love to crawl up with a good fantasy book any day- let me escape to a wonderous, magical place! Today I will be sharing an amazing free magic spell book, and a few other magical gifts.

The “Trouble Maker” Spell Book

This glorious spell book I am levitating is the latest free group gift at Birth. The book comes in black, silver or gold binding, and the animations are wonderful. It’s Fri-yay!!! Hello hello Fab Free’rs, I hope you’re enjoying this fine day, or are about to have a great weekend. As for me, I’m glad to be here sharing my Fabulous finds with you. For today I wanted to focus on hair and makeup. In my personal opinion one of the best things about Second Life is the ability to infinitely customize the look of your avatar. To say that my personal taste is eclectic would be an understatement, I love the freedom SL gives me to change my look entirely on a whim. That said, not all changes need to be dramatic. Sometimes something as simple as a new hairstyle, a new set of eyes, a bold eyeliner, or a different shade of lipstick can be all the change you need.

Speaking of hairstyles, I really like this FREE gift from Moda. I think the half up half down messy bun a great mix of casual and effortlessly chic. There’s no need to join a group or slap a board to get this FREEbie from Moda. The gift is FREE for everyone, and includes a chest-friendly fit. This is the only hair color included, however it’s FREE and really it’s quite pretty. To get this gift, head to the very back of the Moda store and click on the vendor. There are also several other non-group and group gifts waiting.
Okay, I know they are mildly distracting, but please do your best to ignore the odd little shadows that appeared in these photos! lol I wanted to give a side by side comparison of an already lovely skin with the addition of some various makeup appliers. Also, check out those eyes! The pretty mesh eyes are a FREE gift available to everyone at Dulce Secrets. I wouldn’t have guessed pink and silvery grey eyes would have been so pretty and passably natural looking. I am however, pleasantly surprised at how unique and pretty these eyes from Dulce Secrets look. You can get these pretty pink peepers for FREE by clicking the gift vendor next to the Midnight Mania board at Dulce Secrets, no group needed.

Next, the deep dark winged liner with the white added to the waterline that speaks to my soul is from Pink Acid. I was so excited when I came across it! I know, I’m a complete nerd and I don’t even care. I’m a sucker for beautifully done heavy winged eyeliner. I think my inability to create this look on myself in real life might make me covet it even more in Second Life! lol This Catwa applier by Pink Acid is available on the Marketplace for just 1 linden. You’ll also find a classic system layer in the package, so a mesh head isn’t a must.

Finally, the purple/mauve lipstick is another applier I picked up for FREE on the Marketplace from a shop called Shiny Stuffs. This FREE wearable demo is also an applier for Catwa heads only. Not only does an applier like this one give you the pop of color, but they often appear to change the shape of your lips, as you can see in the above photo. Hello Fab Free, today I thought I’d post something a little different today and share some pretty makeup gifts I’ve found recently. I love makeup both in real life and in Second Life.
