A Sweet Afternoon Gift

So I know that very often I gush on the blog about my love for  Japanese clothing design in Second Life, so let me do it some more ….. lol.  I couldn’t run to RabbitHouse fast enough when I saw a picture of this group gift dress!

Mind you, I found the gift in the group notices, but also there are close to 30 other gifts in the store, so it was well worth the trip.  Let me show you everything I’m wearing that I picked up there!

Phew that’s a lot of once picture, but it all went together so well.  Granted, you can’t see my nails in the picture really, but they’re so worth mentioning, as they are animated with a firework pattern, it’s like my nails are having a constant party!

Now, let’s talk about this dress!  It’s gorgeous.  I’m in love.  This is a full fatpack and it also has a chest and high neck undershirt you can turn on and off, and I’ve turned it off for this post.  The textures are this beautiful pattern in a fatpack of colors, and you can change literally every part of this dress, the underskirt, the trim, the ribbons, jewels and metals with the hud.

Promise To Be Dazzling

Hello, FabFree. I’m enjoying a bit of weekend sale shopping today, as well discovering and rediscovering group gifts. Join me, I’ll take you on a fabulously free adventure. 😉

Why Not Both?

First, I’m showing off a bit of Candy Kitten. There are always great weekend sale offers there AND I noticed a new free group gift is out. So, I’m showing you both! The current free group gift is a 300L gift card. Yes, please. I think that one of the reasons I love gift cards so much is that it’s an opportunity to pick out my own freebies, because as a freebie blogger I spend most of my time featuring things that the shop owner has chosen to put out as gifts. Also, it’s just fun. You’ve probably heard me blather on about how Candy Kitten allows weekend sale items to be purchased with gift cards so I can always get more bang for my buck. What I’m wearing here is three pieces that have been set out for the G.O.A.T66 sale at 79L each, which means I was able to get all three for free with my new gift card and it’s not even all spent yet. The Candy Kitten group is 400L to join and you get 300L back right away for joining when you nab the group gift. What a bargain.

Old Favorites

I’m a big fan of amias, not to mention the vast wall of free group gifts available there with a free group join. Here you can find a wide range of pieces from clothing to accessories for men and women. It’s perfect when I’m not really sure what I’m in the mood for or need that last finishing touch. Today was the latter, and I’ve found the perfect necklace for my new outfit at amias and for free. It’s unrigged but super easy to fit. Another plus.

Pleasure, Little Treasure

Ahoy there maties!  I’ve come to show you the bounty I’ve scored from the Madpea Treasure Seekers Hunt!  Now this hunt will cost you 100 doubloons (OK, OK, 100L) for the basic hud, but once you purchase it, all you have to do it hunt for crystals, and in time, all 20 collaborator prizes will drop into your inventory.  That works out to 5L per prize with a little work 😉

The booty

This outfit I’m wearing is a collaborator prize by Vanilla Bae.  It’s a mega pack, and strippable, and comes in PG and Adult.  There’s a full color hud to change all the parts of the top and skirt and comes sized for:

My Pirate Hat is a collaborator prize from Vesta.  It comes in PBR and non-PBR version with a color hud and is resizable.

My travel mug and passport are part of a collaborator prize from Havoc, the Adventure Pack, which also comes with binoculars (but my hands are full!) There’s a full color hud for the travel mug and camera too.

The plunder

Madpea hunts do require a bit of time.  You have to teleport to Madpea and purchase the hud.  There are various packages, the least expensive one is 100L.  The hunt hud is a radar screen, and you’ll be TPing all over the grid, hunting various types of crystals.  The hud can be a struggle to learn, but once you’ve got it, you’ve got it for every hunt 😉  You can IM the Madpea group or ask me in Fab Free chat for help if you need.  As you collect crystals, you’ll obtain gems and then on occasion a collaborator prize.  There are 20 collaborator prizes to win.  With the gems, you can head to the Treasure Seeker HQ and unlock animesh companion monkeys too!  So many things to be had on this hunt, and also gives you something to do if you’re generally just standing around in your house 😉  I took my picture for this blog at a SIM I discovered doing Madpea Hunts, another treasure you didn’t know you were seeking!
