Heyya FabFam! I don’t know about ya’ll but I have to give a huge shout out to the generous Designers who not only have a Group and regular group gifts… but also put the past group gifts up for us . Especially the designers who have regular monthly gifts and specials. I miss a lot of good stuff a lot of the time. So when it comes to awesome designers like Wicca’s Originals… I love popping into their “past Gifts and Outlet” section. Cause I never know what I’m going to find.

Like this adorbs little set ‘Sarah’. The top, shorts and belt are all one piece for quick dressing and just look at that neckline… talk about plunge!  Now Wicca’s Originals group has a fee of 99L to join. But if you take a look at all the past gifts available plus the monthly gifts and specials… it’s worth the cost.

New Year’s Eve festivities, here we come!  Though my RL festivities most often include a couch, a television and maybe a bit of spumante (sparkling Italian wine…I’m not reaaaally a champagne gal) at midnight.  So, I get to live it up inworld in sparkling gowns, high heels and whatever other accoutrement I can get my hands on!

An Ode to Calamari

It’s date night!  That means, a cute dress, hair did and a pile of appetizers that necessarily must include some deep fried calamari, because life’s too short not to eat the good stuff.  Let’s go go go!

I’m so Tempted

Sometimes there’s nothing quite as fun as a quick and easy hunt to grab a few fabulous freebies.  I headed over to the Dubai Event, where they’re currently putting on the “Temptation” Hunt.  Search for the juicy red apples all over the sim – each one is filled with a gift that you can grab for 0L.  I managed to find this very lovely dress from Seniha – it comes in several versions including a polka dot look too.  I also managed to find this really sweet clutch by Mon Chéri which comes with an HUD to change the colour of the leather, the gems and even the metals.  There are several different holding options too, so a super versatile piece!  It’s all free – no group join required!  The Temptation hunt is running until October 10th!

Horse of Another Color

Most girls go through that “Horsey” phase. Some of us… never grow out of it.  I remember happily cutting out every picture of horses I found and pasting them in an old photo album when I was a kid. That album was my pride and joy. You know…. now that I think of it, all my horses here in Second Life are kind of like that old album. But these guys are much more fun!

Good ol’ Jack has a shiny new coat thanks to one of my favorite shops; The Flying Pony. This beautiful ebony coat is “Echo” and I picked it up for free by stalking the Lucky Chairs.  The coat features two hind socks and a little star marking. The build of the coat is just gorgeous and Jack looks amazing. All you need to do is join the free Flying Pony Group and have some patience and a little luck.

“Echo” is available for The Water Horse Riding horse as well as the Teegle Avatar and the Teegle Animesh pet horse. BUT… Echo will only be around for a limited time as a free Lucky Chair prize so don’t delay!!

You should see my house here on the grid. There’s packing boxes and shopping bags and ribbons and paper… everywhere! Yep you guessed it, I’m still unpacking boxes and bags of free gifts from The Second Life 16th Birthday Celebration. I may never see the floor again!

… I have great new hair! This is the unisex style ‘No Longing’ from No_Match. I love the wrapped headband and all the colors! Not only do you get the full fatpack of colors for the hair, you get a special ‘Ombre’ Hud and a special ‘Unicorn’ Hud too. If that wasn’t enough, you also get two huge HUDs of colors and patterns for the headwrap.

Sweet Shelly

My beach inspired new necklace is ‘Shelly’ from Mon Cheri. I don’t usually go to crazy for jewelry but I love this necklace. You can choose the color and texture of almost every piece. You get a HUD to change the stones, the shells and the metals. I have a feeling this will become a go-to piece in my wardrobe.
