The sun has something to do with it too.  Probably more difficult for you to see than it is for me, but I’ve got a full face of freckles from all my time in the sun.  I picked up this set for EvoX maps at Moonlust and I love them.  I wear freckles, but I love the coverage of these.   They are the Starry freckles, and they’re completely free, no group is needed.  Just TP to the store and they’re on the wall over the desk for 0L.  They have different opacities and are tint-able also!

Misty Morning

I’ve been doing a bit of lucky board stalking. Hey FabFree! I have something a little different today. Clothes are fun but a big part of my life on the Grid is landscaping and decorating. So when I saw Simply Shelby is having a 20 item hunt I was so excited!

Living In The Moment

Really, August weather is still the dead of summer here in my part of the world. Even so, the school buses on the roads and the chilly mornings are making it feel a bit different. But today I am feeling those summer vibes.

We also need to talk about my pretty face, courtesy of Wow Skins. I am a big fan of Wow and have been in the group for years. They do generous group gifts and advents and lucky boards, and it’s all gorgeous quality. However there’s something else you should know about me…I’m lazy when it comes to taking off all of my BOM and tattoo layers. Wow skins are fantastic because they come in full body BOM so there’s no making sure you have the right body tone to match or playing with neck fixes or worrying about seams. It’s one piece to put on an you’re done! What could be easier? Except I’m lazy and that means all of my tattoo layers need to be reordered. Sigh. That’s a bit of a kerfuffle when you change skin as often as I do. Anyway, somewhere along the line I missed that Wow started offering their skins their traditional way but also as tattoo layers and even in Velour tones. The skin I’m wearing today is an older free group gift. It comes as a BOM layer to fit lots of different bodies but also as the face only in Velour’s rosekiss shade. That’s definitely a double win for Wow in my book – ease of use if you wanna slap the whole thing on and be done, or versatility of you’d like to wear just the face like I am here and not need to mess around with anything else. Yes, please.

Knees To My Bees

I had a great day exploring around What The Buzz – an interactive bee and pollinator reserve.  There’s a lot to explore and even more to learn about how essential bees are to our environment.  No bees = no food!   Since bees are instrumental in growing our food supply, I brought a treat to feed the bees.

Buzzing

I have a bunch of neat things that will have you buzzing all over to collect.  Let’s start with my dress.  This is the “Spring Gift” from Blink2Wink on Marketplace.  It comes in a white floral and this green floral and costs only 1L!  It’s pretty cheeky in the back and has these lovely big bows tying the front and back together.  Adorable.  It comes sized for:

Last, but never least, the all important snack for the bees.  A slice of watermelon, which is the newest group gift over at Andika.  The group is 150L to join but you will find all kinds of the cutest food and drink dispensers there as group gifts.  This watermelon comes with a dispenser in red or yellow, slices in red or yellow and multiple holds, poses and eating animations.  Bees LOVE watermelon, often people will just buy one at the store, slice it in half, and leave it out for the bees to nom.
