The Craft

I am kinda getting “The Craft” vibes from my look today.  Not that I’ve ever seen the movie (yes yes, chortle all you like), but there’s something very teenage witch I kind of feel going on.  Anyway, enough of my rambling… it’s time for FLF-O-Ween!

I’m starting to feel a little less guilty about being excited about Autumn.  You must admit that it is really the best season for a great many reasons.  It’s still lovely out, the trees are insanely beautiful, and the food and drink is pretty top notch.  Plus, there are some awesome celebrations, right?  I’m having fun with a cup of what I like to call “98% sugar”… a French Vanilla from Tim’s, which is literally the only kind of coffee that I will allow past my lips because it tastes nothing like coffee.  Hey, I’m a wimp.  At least I own it.

Early Fall

Yessss… I know.  I KNOW.  It’s not Fall yet.  I know.  Don’t @ me.  But… I mean, it’s the best season.  At least in my humble opinion.  There have been a few events cropping up over the grid that seem to signal that I’m not the only one looking forward to crisp temperatures and leaves crunching underfoot.

Autumn is Coming!

Over at the Wonderland Beach sim, things are looking decidedly Autumnal and slightly spooky too.  They’ve got The Autumn is Coming Event going on and it really did put me in the mood for a hint of pumpkin spice.  If you wander around the event, you’ll find that each stall has a free treasure chest hidden (or not so hidden) within, and there are also a few lying around the sim with trivia questions that need answering.  No need to join a group, just click on the chest and the contents are yours!  Here’s what I picked up:

Sad But True Story

Telling tales on myself. 🙂 That doesn’t happen often. On New Year’s Eve, some of us Fabby Girl got together to play board games and chat, just have girl time. We are all sitting at the game table, and 3 of the lovely ladies are holding these sparklers, poor Jacx didn’t have said sparkler, so there she sits like a lump on a log, while the other 3 fashionistas are sparkling like nobodies business. LOL. Arielle has a picture, maybe you can get her to share it on a post in the future. Needless to say, the next day first thing Jacx went and got said sparkler, so she too could sparkle and shine.

As usual, I digress from the point of this post. Tutti Belli a rather new store to me, is giving an awesome New Year gift, 800L. store credit. That is like WOW. 2 requirements for having and using this credit, (1) you must join the free to join group, (2) the credits must be used by Jan. 12th. That is one load of makeup for beautiful you! While picking up the credit, Jacx also picked up the free group gifts. My sparkler is lighting up the darkness rather pleasantly, and it’s lots of fun to walk around with.  I picked it up over at OMY.  There are two versions in the box – one with just plain sparkles, and another that does some cute trails as you walk around.  It’s free for everyone, no need to join a group.  But it will be gone soon – so go pick it up tonight!

One of my faves, Ishiku, has a fun little group gift for members of their free to join group as well – this 2022 headband that is easy to reposition and place anywhere you like.  I believe the ad even has it handheld if you want to take some pictures that are just a bit different.  Dunno how long this one will be out, so head on over to Ishiku as soon as you can.
