Bright Eyes, Blue Denim

Well hello there Fabulouses!  He’s stuck at work on this glorious warm spring day, while I have the day off ;).   Of course I’d rather we had the day off together, but I decided I’d try and make the best of it and head out to the park nearby this afternoon to enjoy the splendors of spring that I have been so missing over the long winter, like the smell of green grass, and flowers.. and the tickle of butterflies!

While I have your attention here, I have some exciting free hair news today as well as a little tidbit to share with you about a sweet summer denim dress I found as a group gift.

Aim For Wow

Hello Fab Free!  Ripley and I continued our journey along The Flowerage Hunt 2’s prize trail.  Even though he suffered some nasty scratches after our encounter with the clowder of felines (you can read about that adventure {HERE}), Ripley’s talented nose was still able to sniff out the female hunt gift at Sparrow by Design.   Hooray for tracking dogs! Sparrow by Design’s generous designer didn’t leave out the guys in The Flowerage Hunt 2.  Carson blogged the male gift in his post {HERE}.

Sunshine On My Shoulders

The Emily dress features a halter-style neckline, and a pretty blue and green floral print splashed across a white background.  Its dark belt calls attention to your slender waistline, and a silver metal ring adds a pop of shine.  This summery frock left my shoulders free to feel the warmth of the spring sunshine, while the loop around my neck made sure the sleeveless dress stayed in place.  This little number is perfect for an afternoon of shopping, but with the right accessories, it is easily glammed up for a date night.  One nice feature is that the gift package includes a white, cropped, quilted jacket that you could add when the sun starts to set, and the air becomes a bit chilly.  Since it was a lovely, warm spring day, I opted not to wear it for my photo shoot, but I was comforted in knowing it was there should I need it.

The Wow Factor

Time for a Little TCF

Hello Hello Fab Free! I hope everyone is doing well. So I decided to take some of Love’s advice from her recent post “Finally… FaMESHed” about entering an event and I am happy to report that I was able to get into the Anniversary round of The Chapter Four. Given the meager abilities of my little laptop, I knew it would be a task to manage the event. Still, the gifts were completely worth the time I spent camera-shopping for the little pink TCF Anniversary gift boxes. I’m just going to tell you now, there are tons of gifts. I’m not even sure I picked them all up, but I gave it a good try. To get the gifts at each vendor, you’ll need to be wearing your The Chapter Four group tag. Freckles always win in my book. These freckles are courtesy of the May group gift at 7 Deadly Skins. The aptly named Maye skin comes in Omega appliers for the head and body, in the tones Sand and Apricot. If freckles aren’t your thing, there’s a non freckled version in both tones as well. Flowers For Your Hair

Ribbon For Your Neck

Peaceful

That time of the night…

Bedtime….
