I think I quite like the racetrack at night.  I don’t need earplugs and it smells nothing like exhaust, although you can surely always smell the gasoline.

Pit stop

Although the busiest gifting season of the year is now over, it doesn’t mean there aren’t incredible free gifts around if you look in the right spaces.  In this case, I looked on Marketplace and found 3 goodies for you guys, each one costs 1L.

First, my jacket and hoodie is a gift from Courtyard.  The Yard racing jacket is a fatpack and comes with color and texture hud for both the hoodie and the jacket.  There are various spoofed sponsors and colors you can choose from.  It comes rigged for:

I also added some joggers I picked up from Euphoria/[GL Inc.] on Marketplace.  I blog this Marketplace store often enough because there’s a huge selection of men’s clothing for 1L each, and it’s good to post about it every so often in case people haven’t heard this before.  These joggers also come rigged for:

Hey, it’s the weekend I think!  Who really knows these days, those holidays that mess with our minds.  I’m here though, so it must be the weekend, and just in time, do I have something great on the grid for you to do.

Do all the good

Every year, Azlyn, the owner of Yasum, picks someone in her community, in our community, to help.  Last year, a neighbor of hers who was fighting cancer got his only means of transportation stolen or repo’d and with this yearly event, she was able to replace it.   She has marked her entire store 90% off, and with the proceeds, will help someone she’s chosen get out of a rough spot in life.  This year she put up suggestion boxes for us to nominate someone, I’m not if she’s chosen yet or not, but Beachy and I are certainly contributing to this fundraiser.  Azlyn has a heart of gold.  I chose this blog/song title because it represents her so well.

So, I went shopping!  Now, she doesn’t make a large amount of things for men, but she’s done menswear and womenswear since she’s been on the grid, so there is a whole room for men. 😉   There’s a teleporter in the landing room where you can click and go directly to the menswear section.  I already owned everything she’s made for the Jake body, but this year I got to shop for the items she’s made for the Signature body so I got some new threads.  It’s difficult to discern which body these clothes are made for from the sign so MAKE SURE YOU DEMO so you know.  This year I purchased the Benedict Megapack, which is made for Signature bodies.  The Megapack only set me back 85L, which is actually more that the blog allows for in a post so, I will list the price for each single piece in the credits below.  The Megapack came with a fatpack of the pants, chain, shirt and scarf.

The sale is lasting through January 7th, and she often extends it, but I wouldn’t wait.  Don’t forget to check the accessories and hair salon and outlet while you’re there.  Yes, the outlet is 90% off too.

Sparkle On

Happy Holidays to all, no matter what you celebrate during the season! There are still gifts waiting for you around the grid. Today I’m focusing on another gift from the Swank Winter Wonderland event. We, here at FabFree, love showing off sparkly & shiny things so here is my new find.

Shimmer and Shine

I oohed & ahhed when I unpack the free gift at the Swank Winter Wonderland from GGVG. It sparkles! And it comes with a massive 40 color hud. I was in a sparkly mood thus it worked out well for me. At first, I was going with the dress in white but found that it didn’t show enough of the sparkly things. I whipped out the hud and changed it to this nice green hue. Jianna has the daring dress with a matching pair of long gloves.

Rocking A New “Do”

I am obsessed with all of the hair styles on SL! I confess it. So I belong to a lot of store/brand groups. Recently I was made aware that there were group gifts at WingsDG. Of course, I went to check it out. I found several gifts I had never acquired. Today I am wearing the Gift 004 -Famale (Female) – hair. Each gift has 2 – 3 sizes and a many have a number of texture huds.

The WingsDG group is free to join. Turn left after you enter the store and you’ll find them on a side wall. There are at least five gifts available.

Oh My – Face Paint & Skin

Head over to Glam Affair and join the free group. There are a number of free group gifts on the counter. These include skins, makeup, brows, and shapes. I’m wearing one tone of the Camila skin with the Koko Brows toner. Both are group gifts.

Santa Baby

The December round at Anthem is one of the things I look forward to every year. There are two huge Christmas trees on either side of you when you land, and underneath of each is a mountain of gifts! This year each thing that I clicked on cost 25-50L. There are no demos but pretty much each gift has a picture on top of what’s inside, and what’s a Christmas gift without a bit of a surprise? Besides they’re from all of the great creators at Anthem so there’s not really much to worry about.

I hand curated my look to include a little black dress, cute festive necklace, and amazing creepy little finger puppets. I couldn’t really have asked for much more. The items that I’m showing from under the tree at Anthem are:

Look Around, Look Around

Buckle up, we’re going all over the place today. I’m feeling Jolly AF and there’s just no time to waste! Christmas is in less than two weeks, but there’s an enormous snowstorm coming tomorrow so I’m going nowhere. Yes, there are things that I had planned to do, but now I plan on being snowed in and that is a much cozier plan in my opinion.

Yes, I said it, I’m jolly AF. There’s a new event that started today, called TSS Unwrapped. The idea is that it’s a bunch of your favorite The Saturday Sale creators offering affordable transfer items for gift giving. But I Scrooged up this mug all for myself and I regret nothing. I got it for 59L at ChicChica and it just looks so jolly and yummy. Whether you get it for yourself or as a gift, it should certainly be on your shopping list. This is an instore event so you’ll go to each store to check out their item, and the whole thing lasts until December 26.

Can’t Resist

It’s Friday so obviously that means that I couldn’t resist some FLF shopping, and also I can never resist great hair so here we are. The cute do I’m wearing here is by Wasabi and it’s 50L for this weekend’s Fifty Linden Fridays sale. The one purchase gets you bunches of HUDs for many sizes and colors.

And last but not least, I’m showing off a free Advent gift. I have barely done any Advent Calendars this month, which makes sense because I have barely been on SL this month, but today WellMade had the exact dress I needed for the look I was going for. How great is this dress? It is today’s free Advent calendar gift at WellMade. It even includes a HUD with a fatpack of color options for both the sweater and the shirt underneath, making it super versatile and not just for Christmasy looks. Blue Christmas

When I was a kid, my Dad (who had a design business) would go all out decorating our old farmhouse for the holidays.  One year all the decorations were red and gold, and the next year they were blue and silver.  I do love a blue Christmas, I think I’ll do a blue Christmas post every year.

Freezing!

Christmas sure is an especially generous time in SL. It’s quite heartwarming. Today I’m sharing my spoils from HW Winterland. I loooove these events so much. Aline gave you all the deets when it opened, but it’s still going strong, full of bargains and gifts. The free gifts are in stockings, hung from the booths. The Access Updates group is required to collect them, and that group is free to join. Today for my festive cozy look, the free items that I’m wearing from HW Winterland are:

The Christmas Tale

There’s this sweet little area, no fluff, no frills, and it has a bunch of cardboard decorations and Christmas trees.  What’s so special about THAT, Beachy hmmm?  Well, dangling off the cardboard trees are an assortment of goodies you can purchase for just 25L each.  There are things for male and female bodies, even skin fatpacks! I also spotted some hairstyles, and even the bow lips for Genus Morph.   The Christmas Tale is sponsored by Opulein and there’s a bunch of designers taking part.  I did a little shopping for myself, and this is some of what I came home with.

Back At One

Goodness, I blinked and it went from before Thanksgiving to days into December. And I know that another blink will take me past Christmas. I have no idea where the time went or even what Advent Calendars I want to participate in this year. There is a LOT going on, FabFree. It’s time to take a deep breath and go back to basics.

The hair that I’m wearing is a free group gift from URSIDXE. But wait, haven’t we seen this hair before? Yup! I blogged it back in August. Back then it was an event gift, now it is a free group gift in the store. So if you missed it then, you definitely want to grab in now. Ah, a beautiful skin. I do love a fresh pretty skin. This one is from Le Voltage and it’s a free group gift, just outside of the store.
