Far beyond the Elysian Fields

Oh Twisted Hunt… How I hate to love you. You make me crazy… and yet I keep going.  How’s that for twisted behavior? The theme for this round of the Twisted Hunt is “Divine”. So everything is all about the old gods and the elysian fields.  So I flittered up to those fields beyond to romp with golden horses and try out my own wings.

Golden Divine

My Chiton – My first find is this lovely ‘Asphodel Chiton Tunic’ from The Dreaming Thicket. The prize cube includes both the female and male version of the gift. Both the prizes are beautiful and so very well made.

My Wings – I found these lovely wings in a side quest at Sweet Revolutions. The details are awesome and the wings are completely resizable and repositionable. Originally they were very small and set on the head, like Hermes. But it was so easy to make them larger and place them on my shoulders.

My Friend– The gorgeous guy at my side is the “Divine” horse from Awesome Breed Creations. Once you locate the cube, both this golden stallion and a golden mare are yours to roam with. Both horses are fully breedable and must be fed with food supplies from ABC. Be sure to read the enclosed ‘quick start’ Notecard if you are unfamiliar with Breedables or ABC Horses.

Time Keeps on Slippin’, Slippin’, Slippin’ Into the Future

A Little Bit Boho

Ripley and I ventured along the trail of The Boho Hunt recently.  There are 34 stops along the way with prizes that cost 1 Linden dollar each.  Over at Horr Menswear, if you find the tiny white llama concealed in the shop, you can scoop up these cute little blue Monetta shorts for yourself.  They ride low on your hips and are packed with details such as rivets on the pockets and a bright pink wraparound belt, which coordinates beautifully with the Bimi crop top.  There’s something in this hunt prize for everyone, because versions for classic as well as mesh bodies are tucked inside the package.  The shorts are actually from Ambient Fashion, but they are hidden in Horr Menswear for the hunt.  The event runs until March 31, so you have plenty of time to do some sleuthing for yourself.

Walk Into the Room Purse First

I don’t think there has ever been a song that I identify more with than Purse First by Bob the Drag Queen (well, I mean…there are probably loads that I identify more with, but for the purposes of this post, let’s just suspend our disbelief for a moment!).  The song has it all – sass, a beat and the deep knowledge that you should never pay too much for an outfit.  Don’t you think you could get behind that statement?

Now About that Purse

Spring Really Has Sprung!

Hello there Fabulouses!  It’s true – spring really has sprung as it’s the first day of spring today (SQUEEEEE), and it’s sprung inworld too, with The Wash’s Spring Has Sprung Cart Sale Event beginning today!  The streets are lined with spring themed displays by designers from across the grid, all priced with items between 10L and 50L.  Today in my blog post, I will be featuring a couple of clothing items by Shae’s Designs and decor by KK Home that you can find at the event… as well as a free gift by Lagom at The Liaison Collaborative.

The Decor

It’s not often I put together a scene and blog home and garden items.  I generally just go somewhere pretty and stand in it lol, but I was inspired by the spring decor by KK Home at The Spring Has Sprung Event to decorate a little balcony for this shot.  In my photo you’ll see the Tulip Planter Box, the Pussy Willow Vase and The Vintage Pitcher w/ Daffodils.  All three of those items are available for 25L at the event along with plenty of other spring and Easter decor.
