Hello Fab Free’rs, I’m feelin’ a little nostalgic today. The new group gift hairstyle by No Match with it’s braided pigtails sticking strait out made me giggle, but it also reminded me of some of the female literary characters from my youth that I so admired. Girls such as Anne Shirley, Caddie Woodlawn, Laura Ingalls, and of course Pippi Longstocking all held a special place in my little-girl heart. I remember them being brave, intelligent, imaginative girls who knew who they were and what they wanted. It felt good to be reminded of them today. So inspired, I paired the youthful hairstyle with the striped sweater-dress Fabulously Free in SL group gift by Sevyn East and ran with it. I hope you enjoy this fun look as much as I do.

The Hairstyle – This hairstyle by No Match is their current free group gift. Called No Socks, it really made me think of being little and barefoot in the springtime. It comes with a full fatpack of hair colors, and can be resized. Also included are system layer hair-bases, and a set of mesh head hair-base appliers (Omega, Lelutka, Catwa, TMP). Spring Break

I am SO keeping this Spring Break Beach theme going! I love the beach and camping and picnics and everything about Spring Break. Even the clothes! I followed Ms Love out the Kanaloa Surf Beach and I’m really glad I did.

Just wandering along the sand is almost as much fun for me as getting in that surf. So I kicked off my shoes and got some sand between my toes while showing off my cute new floral frock. This is “Flavia” from Amui and it’s the free March Group Gift up now. I just fell in love with the bright tropical print but if it’s not your thing, Flavia comes with a HUD for six color choices. Every detail is really well done and the build is just perfect. Is it just me or does quality make y’all happy too?

It’s a Paradox

I have a deep, meaningful question for you all – what do you get when you have a dock on the left and a dock on the right?  Any ideas?  It’s a Paradox!  Get it?  A…pair of docks….!?! GET IT?  Oh gosh, I suppose some jokes just need to be said out loud to be amusing.  Well, I tried!

Terrible jokes aside, I found a really nice summery dress that is perfect for lounging around on pairs of docks all you want!  I picked this cute outfit up over at Egoxentrikax by joining the group for free, and clicking on the vendor near the front desk.  I will warn you that the back is a little revealing in the sense that you get quite the rear view, but if you want a bit more coverage you can add a little bikini bottom or shorts underneath!
