Desert Boho

Happy Monday, fabulous readers!

I was looking through a box of old photos and found this picture of me hamming it up during my ’70s boho days on Route 66.

Lol, not really! 😉

But a visit to The Mother Road sim reminded me of the decade I spent living in the High Desert of California. I didn’t live in a trailer in the middle of nowhere, but just a mile or two from my house you could find scenes that looked remarkably like this one… tumbleweeds and all.

Boho Chic Chick

To create my boho look, I stopped by The Boho Culture Fair (TBCF) and picked up a few of the MANY generous gifts.

First off, my outfit is TBCF gift from Rir Life.  The Bartot Top & Lagenlook Pants are a really fun, carefree look. You can’t see them here, but the pants have a short flare on each side, almost like they were made of big scarves. The top ties at the waist with just a hint of skin showing. Both top and pants are sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies.

I also picked up some fun items to complement my boho look:

• My Dream Catcher Choker is a free TBCF gift from SAGA. It comes with a HUD that includes 4 different metal colors for the leaves. Click the choker for the blue resizer menu.
• My bracelet is a free TBCF gift from !IT! It includes a HUD with 10 different metals and is resizeable through the HUD.
• Like my pose? You can pick it up as a gift from Stonerella at TBCF. Be sure to wear your Bento hands for the full effect.

The Boho Culture Fair runs through November 9, so you still have a few days to stop by. I could not give you direct landmarks to the individual vendors because you’ll wind up back at the landing point, but you can always do an area search to find what you need. You do need to join the Fair Lovers or Hunters in-world group to pick up most of the gifts –  it is only 1L to join.

BTW, Kat already showed this cute strapless dress by Gypsy Chic that you can pick up at TBCF landing point. Be sure to grab that one, too!

Bohemian Rhapsody

Hello everyone.. if you havent been to the Boho Culture Fair yet then what are you waiting for? There are so many dollarbies and free gifts there for you to enjoy! Love has already covered a few of them in this post but as you only have until the end of October to get these great items, I thought I would give you all a gentle nudge in the right direction! To find the prizes, most are inside a little sunflower found inside the store. Others have put out gift boxes.

This beautiful dress is by Bomshie and available for L$2 at the Fair. I am completely in love with the Tartessos Sandals for SLink Flat Feet by GAALL that are a dollarbie in their store. My bracelet set is the dollarbie you can find at DEW

The gorgeous Jewelled Headpiece I am wearing is by Grumble and matches my Lashes Bracelets by Lashes Bracelet by Petit Chat really well I think! The Lapy Shirt is by Mimosa while the Gypsy Skirt is by Stars Fashion and comes with a HUD that can change the textures to three different choices. Finally the Portland Sandals for SLink Flat Feet are by Essenz!

My beautiful skin is the adorable Kanon skin which is the new group gift by Angelica. There are SLink appliers included aswell as a version with and without the teeth on the skin and a browless option! This skin is so cute, it could be my new favourite! There is a L$300 fee to join the group but you can find this skin and the last group gift skin Suzi available to pick up for free once you join.

My nails are the Bollywood SLink nails set by La Boheme that are free at the Boho Culture Fair. They come with both manicure and pedicure and below is a picture of the HUD so you can see the other beautiful colour options available!

Heya Fabulouses! Have you visited The Boho Culture Fair Yet? Almost all of the designers have free gifts or dollarbies in flowerpots at their display shops, and today I am going to show you a couple of them to see if I can tempt you into a visit!

In the photo above you will see me displaying the Daydream Maxi Dress that can be found as a FREE gift at the Sassy TBHCF shop.  This is a partial  mesh design that can be worn with or without the skirt add-on.

Below I am showing off the 1L dollarbie by WoW Skins that you can find at The Boho Culture Fair.  These Tesa LipGlosses come in a six pack and will work with so many different skins.

There Goes The Neighborhood…

Halloween is one frightening time of year!   See that dog?  I’m calling him “Bones”, but I don’t know what his real name is.  Anyways, I’m pretty sure he belongs to that giant mansion across the bridge…  Am I supposed to return it to it’s home?  No way!  I say, any house that needs a fire breathing dragon as a security system surely is not a place for me!  EEK.

I will just stick to shopping.  Like… at Mirrors Enigma!  When you make a purchase at Mirror’s Enigma you are auto invited into their inworld group.  Inside their past notices you will find that Ydreece has placed a very nice two piece mesh outfit called Luisa as a free gift.  You won’t find this free in store – just in the notices 😉

The Boho Culture Fair – Part 9

Good morning Fabulouses!  I have another sweet Boho Culture Fair Dollarbie to show off today.  It inspired me to jump back a few weeks and go a little summery, but hey – SL is whatever season I want it to be right? Hey!  Wouldn’t it be sweet if there was a fifth season where the leaves turned purple and blue?  Who do we need to talk to about this?  Pink would be ace too!

The sky blue mesh Bliss Halter Top is courtesy of Sassy! at The Boho Culture Fair.  In their shop at the fair, you’ll find this sheer blouse for 1L as well as the Cuffed Denim Shorts that you can purchase for 175L in a few different colours.

My Juliet Crown is available at the { i c k y } shop at the fair for 100L.  I couldn’t pass it up when I saw it – such an adorable accessory!

I am wearing a make up layer today that I found in a box on the desk at MOCK Cosmetics priced at 0L with three Easter eyeshadows in it.  This one in particular is called AK Easter Egg 3 and added just a touch of lavender and sage to my eyes.
