Today I was all over the place…. I had picked up my armband as a group gift from epia, and that led me to think military, but I didnt want to do the standard, I wanted something a bit…. different … I scooted to ContraptioN where I found this awesome hat, and then was like… what to wear on my body *laughs* GizzA offered a great pair of boots in their January Gift (the whole outfit is really great, but not quite the look I was going for) so I ended up wandering around the store and saw this great jacket. I paid the fee and was happy with my purchase even more when I saw the HUD and that I was getting four colors in one (WIN!!) Trying to keep myself from spending anymore monies, I checked out the marketplace for a skirt that would go nicely with my look… After trying on about 20 or so freebie mesh skirts, I ended up buying this full perm dollarbie skirt from Demi’s Starshine marketplace store. I saw these Madrid Solo eyes when I picked up some gifts over at the WOMENstuff Lounge.

Have you been to the sim Leroy yet? Well if you haven’t this is one of those places that cannot be missed…. They recently set up their Frosty Night 2014 exhibit, and you TP up from the main landing port through the portrait. Once you arrive you are teleported to a HUGE snowglobe where beautiful music is piped in and couple dance machine are located. While you are there…. Look for shimmery feathers falling from the sky, when you click on these you can collect 30 different gifts… I’ve enclosed a few pictures of the ones I happened to pick up while there… all of which were free.
I dressed in my beautiful The White Armory group gift for this week, which included the little crown on my head. By doing the Lady Dark Hunt, I picked up this hair from Tameless as well as this skin from Drop Dead Gorgeous, this hunt is only L$1 per spot. Snow Frostwych helped me out with finding these Mag<3.B eyes, she TP’d me directly to the store, but if you aren’t willing to travel you can find them on the Marketplace for L$1 as well. While on the Marketplace I found my earrings from Miam Miam Jewelry. They can be changed to a slew of colors and at L$10 totally within my price range. Pure Poison sent out their latest group gift which I received today when I logged in. So I have this cute little necklace to add to my outfit….. Check out all the credits and links below… ❤

It’s been an extremely cold day here… with temps in the single digits, I find it ironic that I would be standing here in the snow in my low cut half shirt sweater…. but at least I look good 😀 I picked this outfit up from PRISM while doing the the Frozen Flowers Hunt. I also hopped over to Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes (who is also in the hunt!) and found these cute shoes I thought went really well with the outfit.. My beautiful necklace is from KA Piercings, which is their gift for the Another Day in Paradise Hunt. The cool eyes are just one of 10 that LaNoir Soleil Designs has in their gacha machine. My nail appliers are from Hello Dave and are available for free on the Marketplace. I also was able to get over to The Attic event @ The Deck. Found soooo many amazing deals there.. but my two favorites are this great hair from MINA and these gorgeous skin from DeeTaleZ . They are priced at only L$90 each!!! Well, my my my, I dont know about you…but when I woke up today I found the whole world around me had turned WHITE… I also found that I had left my poor little avatar online in a pose @ Pangloss sim all night as well…. and apparently a couple people saw me and took some pictures.
Well, huge thanks to them for keeping an eye on me while I was sleeping. *laughs* Before I fell asleep I had been scouring the grid looking for something “dark lady-ish” to show you all… As I had this hair/horns combo in my inventory that LaNoir Soleil Designs created for the Lady Dark Hunt, I wanted to create a sort-of “look” for it. I ended up at Mon Cheri, Voilet Mafia Shopping Group HQ and # 7 and yeah, came out looking pretty maleficent… (I can use that as an adjective no? )
Oooohh and…. I picked up this great sampler pack from KMADD off the Marketplace…. It’s their new HUD based mesh eyes…. and you get all 26 flavors in this assortment pack. You also get these eyelashes as well in the pack… which are beautiful and mod… so yeah… totally Check them out…

Well, in reviewing my pictures from over the years I came to the happy conclusion that the longer you spend in SL, the better you look. At least to yourself. I started Second Life 6 years ago on my first avatar and I was going to use the picture from my very first day…. and then I decided I would just show you Care’s first day 3 1/2 years ago and what she looks like today.
May I say that Second Life is ahead of its time… *laughs* I can’t wait to see everyone’s Then and Now pictures.
