For over a decade, Fabulously Free in SL has been posting a December Advent Listing and we pride ourselves in keeping this list up to date on a daily basis throughout the month! The tradition continues this year with the 140+ stops (Just to start with!!). This list will be edited over the duration of December with small changes like link updates and store additions, but it is currently “mostly” complete so you’ll be ready with your list in hand to start your first day of Advent rounds tomorrow on December 1st!

I bet a lot of you have been travelling, or moving from house to house spending time with the people you love, and then hitting those stores for the deals and then logging on to SL and shopping when you’re home. Your bellies are full and your bank account is empty, well, it’s finally time to take it easy.

I was out shopping for Black Friday and in the hustle and bustle I was still able to make it back in one piece with a load of free gifts! I went over to Flame for the Black Friday sale (50% off Nov25-Dec 7), joined the group and came home with a fatpacks! Hello Fabulous Readers! After all the hoopla of the holiday, I decided to don some comfy, casual clothes. The weekend after Thanksgiving is a traditional shopping extravaganza in the USA. No way I was going out in all the traffic in RL! I got my budget-friendly shopping fix in SL.
A Flannel You Can Live In
To begin, I slipped into the Tara Halter Top from Riot, a free gift for members of the Riot Mainstore Group (25L$ to join). It’s an oldie but a goodie that was first blogged here by Starla. Over this, I layered an open Oakley Jacket (also from Riot) that I picked up for just 50L$ for the Fifty Linden Fridays Sale. The plaid flannel features cool tones of blue and gray. The jacket drapes casually off my shoulders and creates an “I threw this on, but still look fab” vibe. This “Cozy Blues” version of the top includes a HUD that allows you to change the color of the metallic elements. The Oakley Jacket is available in 15 colorways, all priced at 50L$ each. The Fifty Linden Fridays Sale ends on November 30th.

With all the snow falling, I needed warm winter footwear. The Jille Boots from Ohemo were made for the task! Priced at just 50L$, they feature sturdy soles, a leather upper, and soft ankle padding. The designer includes a texture HUD that allows you to select from 4 leather options and metallic textures, as well as 7 colors for the footbed and fur trim. I woke up this morning with the very clear intention of “turning this place into a Christmas Wonderland, dammit”. But, you see… I did that thing where I start opening boxes and getting overwhelmed with things all at once. So here you find me, surrounded by the detritus of my good intentions.

I’ve been looking forward to the Holly & Frost Faire, and this year is probably the best one yet! There are A LOT of really awesome decor gifts at this cute event, and they’re all completely free. I had so much fun putting together this little scene, and I didn’t even get to use all the gifts! This is definitely a must-visit for those of you who love to decorate (and yes, I did that on purpose – the group who put on this event goes by that name). I was easily persuaded to visit this year’s SL Christmas Expo, which benefits the American Cancer Society. Each booth has a donation gift hidden somewhere in their display (it looks like a Christmas stocking) – and of course I headed over to Alaskametro’s booth to find these cozy, striped BOM socks that I had to have – they were just 25L. I also happened to buy this lingerie there, so I highly recommend visiting! The SL Christmas Expo is open until December 7th.
Maybe I’ll get my Christmas Wonderland under control tomorrow…
I started gathering Christmas/holiday outfits during this Black Friday weekend. There are so many stores having heavily discounted items I wasn’t sure where to go first! I did find a few gems.

Pink Cream Pie has a special outfit out for the FLF Black Friday sale. It comes as two separate items each priced at $50L. It’s a Christmas steal! It’s hard to beat this deal. The Everleigh Sweater is available in in this black texture with a green tree and red pompoms. The Ramona pants bag comes with two color jeans that I’m wearing today Included is a pair of red & green two-tone and another in ruby. There are three cuts to each pants: cut, flat, and high.

I was still able to get great deals, and one of them I can tell you about! FLF is having a special Black Friday round, where there are more 50L deals this weekend than any other round. I ran right over to /SIXIS\ to buy this holiday sweater, on sale for only 50L. I figure I can use it for Halloween or Christmas, plus there’s a plain black version in the package too. You’ll even get a version for under jackets in both textures. What a bargain. It comes for Legacy/Athletic only, so I slapped on that free version of the body in the AWP to show it off to you.
There’s some other freebies listed in the credits that I’ve blogged before, and maybe you’ve missed, like my new skin and my coffee cup, both still available for free. The sweater though, should be gone after the weekend, so don’t wait on this one.
