The Power of Pastel

There’s something to be said about pastels.  They seem to brighten up the dullest days, without ever being too garish.  I know that in some parts of the world (definitely not mine) at this time of year thoughts of spring begin to take shape in peoples’ minds, and I think pastel is the way to start manifesting those thoughts!

Low Key Glam

Happy 2018 Fab Free!

I am ready for a fabulous me in 2018, complete with more glitter, happiness and pizza. In order to start the year off right, I’m keeping my outfit kinda low-key glam, because 2018 calls for a bit of shine and a smidge of comfort.

Happy Haunting

BOO Fabulouses!  If I had to choose (and it would be very tough!), I would have to say that my favourite ride/experience at Disney World is probably The Haunted Mansion.  It’s been a few years since I have been, but I bet it is pretty much the same.

A Free Second Life Haunt

When I came across The Haunted Halloween Tour in Second Life, I was eerily excited to try it out, and it did not disappoint.  It’s coffin-ride driven, so you don’t need to walk around – actually quite perfect for a date (I think two can ride in the coffin), because you can easily talk instead of trying to navigate your way through and type at the same time.

You’ll make your way through blood dripping, goulish dark hallways, past the shadow people until you find your way into the disturbing abandoned asylum where you’ll start to feel there is no escape in sight.  The gruesome blood smeared walls and nightmarish sounds follow you through a few different shuddersome experiences such as a haunted house with the “poltergeist girl”, a library where books fly off the shelves, underground bloody sewers that will have you thinking you have just jumped into Stephen King’s thoughts.  Of course there are plenty of terrifying dead bodies, guts, spiders and …  *shudders*  creepy clowns.  Whatever your fear is…  you’ll find it in this 15 minute experience!  Snuggle up in a coffin and have fun!

Paparazzi

What Happens in Casablanca…

STAYS in… oh, never mind.

Like “Neckwarmer Man” and “Spike,” I thought I might be able to sneak off incognito for a little post-holiday peace and quiet, so I headed off to the beautiful island of Casablanca. Unfortunately, the paparazzi were waiting for me as soon as I got off the plane.

I can’t help but wonder who tipped them off.

The Red Woman

Unlike a certain other Red Woman, my disguise fooled no one.

I was so sure that this super-sexy, barely-there gown – the latest group gift from .miss chelsea. – would be a brilliant disguise for this yoga-pants-and-t-shirt kinda gal (maybe the fact that it is cut waaaay up to there makes it a bit more noticeable than I expected). The dress comes in sizes for Maitreya, TMP, Belleza Freya and Isis, and Slink Original and Hourglass mesh bodies. There is even a HUD included so you can change the metal ring from gold to silver.

Also part of my not-so-good disguise are these free sunglasses from KITJA. The strappy wrist ribbons are a free group gift from Caboodle. In addition to red, you can also find black, blue, and white ribbons in the box.

With so much skin showing, I was sure to be cold, so I added the snuggly, fur stole by *AGATA* that I picked up as a free group gift at On9. To be honest, I thought On9 was supposed to close at the end of December, but when I popped over this afternoon, I was so happy to find that it was still open. Tennis Anyone?

Tennis anyone? I put together an outfit that made me feel like going out on the courts today!

The Dressing Room & My 70L Finds!

Good evening fine and fabulous folks!  The Dressing Room opened up for a new round at the beginning of the month (will run for two weeks) and I had a ball shopping each display for 70L+ offers!
