Witchy woman, she’s got the moon in her eyes.

Ah yes..here it is, Thursday again. Even better though…it’s October 1st! You know what that means right? Halloween is right around the corner! My favourite time of year. So I thought I would usher this month in with a Halloween post first thing.

How cute am I in my witchy get-up? Best of all..it’s totally free? That’s right, you heard me. FREE! Almost everything I have on is included in one awesome, full avatar, group gift from ShuShu as part of the LAMU group. The super fun Halloween Night avatar outfit is chock full of everything you need to change your look. I’m showing off the fitted mesh versions of the top and skirt, though both also come in standard sized versions as well, a matching hat, and bracelets. Some clothing pieces I chose not to wear; mesh legwarmers, both in fitted versions, and non-fitted, a leg band with a holstered gun, as well as a handheld gun.

Naturally, a full outfit would not be complete without shoes, and how sweet are the curled toe heels, which are made for SLink mid feet? Of course I had to do a close-up shot.

Now wait a minute. I said full avatar, didn’t I. Which means…the lovely skin and hair I have on are also included. You also get 2 shapes: one shorter, and the other, taller. I chose to go with my own shape though, as I really liked how well it meshed with the beautiful features on the skin. While the skin did not come with appliers, I think I did a pretty good job skin matching my hands and feet (feel free to IM me for the numbers if you are having trouble). The pretty stripey hair is fitted mesh and I think it will look great with other outfits, even if they aren’t Halloween themed. As if all this wasn’t enough, you get a freckle tattoo layer, which I am sporting, as well as a funky eye makeup, which I chose to not wear. Honestly, this gift has so many things included, you can slightly change your look, everyday, and not have to open another folder in your inventory.

So let me repeat…all of that *points up to her pictures* is free when you join the LAMU group, which is free to join. Don’t get me started on the plethora of other group gifts available. It is a FabFree readers heaven. Here is the Direct TP to the Halloween Night group gift, as it can be a little tricky to find. Trust me though, you will want to explore once you get that group tag on, and find all those other gifties.

Oh…and since I know you all want to know about that totally rocking broom I’m riding, it is part of a 7 pose set that I picked up on the Marketplace from TNT. It’s slightly over the L$75 or less that we stick to for features, but at only L$89 for a broom that matches this witch outfit so perfectly….I think I’ll be forgiven 😉

Bye Bye Summer

Got some spare lindens kicking around?  You won’t need much – Ricielli is hosting a Bye Bye Summer Hunt and there are 20 very easy to find pink ball hunt icons hidden around the store all priced at 15L each.  Some of the hunt items come with texture change huds or multiple colour options, which makes these items a steal at such a low price.

I ALMOST missed it!!!

Jinx is having a fantasy special sale and Hunt to celebrate opening the new Jinx Fantasy Shop! And I call myself a Fantasy/RP enthusiast! *hangs head in shame* But there’s still a little time. When you land at the Jinx main store just look for a glowing archway that will take you to the new shop. There are a ton of great poses and props up for grabs at a special 50% off. I picked up several. But my favorite is the one I’m showing you today: Autumn Leaves Pose Pack. The poses are in a wearable HUD and you get a swirl of pretty leaves for each of the eight poses.

Bravo, BRAVURA Homme!

I feel conflicted today. It is always sad news to me when a creator closes their in-world store, although it happens often enough we should be used to it. The good news for all the guys out there though is that while BRAVURA Homme is closing their in-world store, they will be maintaining their marketplace presence. In their announcement they even mentioned there will be upcoming new releases sold there! Today though, as sad as I am about losing another excellent in-world store, it’s time for a last minute sale!!!

The Ankle Boots Wcut in Grey Snake and Brown Snake are my favorite items in this sale. I love boots in general and many years ago I had a gorgeous grey water snake pair in real life. Upon seeing these beautifully done legacy (non-slink) boots, with their uppers in leather and with Wcut snakeskin accents, I knew I had to have them…in both colors! These are each on sale today only (September 30th) for 48L per pair. What a fantastic find! For the snake lovers, there is also a brown pair of these at BRAVURA Homme with the super Wcut styling but without the snakeskin texture. Relax though; no virtual snakes were harmed during the creation of these boots.

All the men’s items are on sale today, and there is a ton of selection spread out over two floors. I really liked this Smart Casual Outfit w/HUD Classic as shown in the above pic on the right side. The shirt comes in a light pastel blue or white changeable via hud and the vest and pants each give you three colors to choose from. The sale price for this nice looking set as shown with the black vest and pants is 88L. If you decide you like it as much as I did, you can buy expansion huds for different colors. I got the Add On – Browns Hud for just an additional 40L. As you can see, it looks very stylish indeed.
