I’ll Be The Mad And The Bad And The Dangerous

Hi everyone, here is another look at some of the great freebies and dollarbies you can find at The Black Fashion Fair! There’s still quite a few to go through!

Im always looking for a great pair of skinny pants and I just know that the Leather Stripe Leggings by Kitje Cherie are going to become a staple part of my wardrobe as they will look great dressed up or down. I really love the SayIt Tank by The Little Bat, particularly as you can use the HUD included to choose from several different slogans to appear on the front! I picked the “Bad Witch” slogan for today but I promise Im a good little witch really ~smiles sweetly~

If you are looking for a sexy little black dress then you have certainly come to the right place! The Night Out Dress by Sassy is the perfect amount of sweet and sexy and is bound to get you noticed!

Another really cute dress that can be found is the Summer Comes Dress by Bubblegoth. Perfect for the little goth girl who wants to sneak out and get a little bit of sunshine.. but not too much!

Here is a close up of the jewelry I am wearing in the other pictures. The delicate beads on the Stygian Necklace by MV are so pretty and the pendant is quite a close match to the one on the Venice Bracelet by Shine by ZD.

Junbug – ing On A Fifty Linden Friday

Oh!  How I love Friday!!  Friday means Fifty Linden Friday stops for me, first thing in the morning.  Mostly I run from shop to shop down the list while I am multi-tasking putting on my face in the morning getting ready for work or skipping  breakfast or something lol.  FLF is worth one side of my face being un-mascaraed or those 10 AM hungry tummy growls.

This morning I picked up the FLF items at Glam Affair and Junbug and boy am I glad I did!  Junbug has two of their Ophelia Dresses out in Floral and Polka, priced at 50L each.  Above I am wearing Floral, and below the Polka.
For this week’s Fifty Linden Friday offer, Glam Affair has out their Cocktail Girls Duo including the Kallista and Oakley Skins in the Asia skintone.  You get both skins for one price of 50L and there are several eyebrow options included.  What a deal!  Don’t forget the FLF items are only available for one day only!!

The Janice Jewelry Set is a free group gift at Virtual Impressions and looks lovely both with formal and less formal attire.  This set comes with the necklace and matching earrings (which are a little hard to see in my pictures – sorry!).  This group is free to join, and while you are there make sure you grab the freebie box by the stairs too!

Im Forever Black-Eyed

Its the middle of August and there have been a fresh batch of events that have started over the last week. Today I am going to be showing you some of the freebies and dollarbies from The Black Fashion Fair. There are quite a few freebies and dollarbies here so be sure to check back to the blog over the coming days as I’ll be showing more very soon! The Fair operates by having a fixed landing point, but I have given SLURL’s to each booth. It won’t teleport you directly but hopefully it will show a beacon to guide you.

The Plastik is always very generous with their gift boxes at their mainstore and at events and their gift box at The Black Fashion Fair is no exception. The gift box costs L$10 to purchase but there are several items of mesh clothing inside for you to incorperate into your every day wardrobe! All of the outfits below are from their gift box!

If you like statement jewellery the you will love the gift by Maxi Gossamer. The black Dare bangles are really chunky and I love the Talia ring. They are the perfect pieces to complete the outfits. You can see a closer look at the ring further down the post!

Being a certified shoe-a-holic, I am always thrilled when there are freebie shoes at events. The strappy Cancoon shoes for SLink Mid Feet by Essenz are gorgeous and will quite possibly become my new favourite shoes as they are so versatile. If nothing else be sure to grab these!

The nails in this picture are from a set by Ghee that can also be found at The Black Fashion Fair. Another great event that is happening at the moment is The Fantasy Gacha Carnival and you can find the Moonchild Nosering by Enfant Terrible in one of the many gachas there!

Another event that started recently is Totally Top Shelf. When you land at the teleport point you will find some great group gifts there by some very generous designers. The group is free to join and you can find this beautiful Linka Skin by Essences! The make up on the actual skin is a more subtle purple colour. I am wearing Mi Amor Deep Smoke Eye Make up layer by Pink Acid on the skin in this picture.

A Pirate’s Life For Me!

The first thing every pirate needs is a ship! This beautiful vessel is titled “Queen Anne’s Revenge” and not only is it completely FREE on the Marketplace, it’s actually functional. It can be sailed, and has a hud to fire the 52 cannons on board! The second thing a pirate needs, is treasure. You know, gotta have shiny things to show off and doubloons to hire other pirates to go and get more shiny things!! I’m pretty sure that is how things work. Luckily, there are a few pirate themed events going on right now. One of which is the Skull n Bones Hunt. I picked up this awesome treasure chest full of gold and trinkets, along with it’s very own guardian for just $1 linden at Mirage. The treasure chest has several male and female sit poses, and the macaw is color-changeable. Once I had my ship, and I had some treasure, I felt like I needed a really awesome outfit. ‘Cause let’s be honest, in any job, it is important to “look” the part. With that in mind, I waded through the Fantasy Gacha Carnival and raided the Alchemy gacha for some incredibly well made, highly detailed pirate gear. It was then that I got a sweet little notice from MOCK Cosmetics with a group gift that matched my pirate ensemble perfectly! In the MOCK Cosmetics group notices you will find a set of “absinthe” shaded lipsticks. In love with my new pirate life, I had to share it with you! Yo ho Yo ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me!
