Like many of you, I’ve spent the weekend trying to keep up with all the Black Friday sales. My feet are killing me, and I can’t remember where I parked my car, but at least my pixel purse is much lighter now!

Keep On Keeping Up

Speaking of keeping up: I just can’t keep up with all the group gifts at I.M. Collection! Seems like every time I show you one, a new gift gets put out. But hey, I’m not complaining. 🙂

So today I’m showing you Group Gift 12 (yes, there are 11 more), which is this pretty sweater dress. I’m wearing the apple (green) color, but it also comes in gold and orange – perfect fall colors. It is sized for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies.

More Gacha Garden Goodies

This round of the Gacha Garden has had some really exceptional gifts. I shared a couple of them HERE last week, and I’ve got two more to show you today!

Starting at the top, I’m really loving this gorgeous hair by Pr!tty. The Aliya hair comes in a fatpack of colors in both windy and not-so-windy versions. There is also a beautiful jeweled headdress in 4 different textures in the box.

Last but definitely not least… Essenz has set out a pair of their Barcelona shoes as a Gacha Garden gift. Other colors are available in the gacha machine, so be sure to give it a play if you need more colors (and who doesn’t?)!

Hello Fabulous Readers!  Ripley and I returned to the Ricielli Halloween Hunt, and discovered another gorgeous dress for only 15L.  The EOS II dress features a delicate lace trim all along the neckline, which adds a soft feminine appeal.  The deep midnight texture has a subtle sheen to it that highlights the natural folds in the skirt and the criss-crossed tie at the waistline.  This frock fits beautifully, and is an amazing bargain!  With elegant accessories, it is perfect for a date night, but is also just as wonderful for every day wear.

Happy Friday Fabulouses!  I don’t know about you, but I sure am ready for a weekend!  With Halloween and the morning-after effects of too much sugar among my co-workers (not so much for me, but I do admit to snacking on a few pieces here and there), this has been a challenging work week, and I’m glad to see the end of the week and the end of October.  One of the great things about a new month starting is a crop of new hunts to check out.  The pupster and I tried our luck on the Dirty Little Secret Hunt, and came away with a darling mini dress.

Happy Sunday, Fabulouses!  Ripley and I spent a lovely afternoon on the NorderNey sim, and even made a few new friends along the way.  They graciously agreed to pose for my picture with me.  Aren’t they just adorable?

Say Yes to the Dress

My gorgeous, antique white frock is a free gift from Lomomo.   With plenty of ruffles and a bow, this dress features frothy lace over a solid sheath underneath.  A belted high waistline draws the eye upward, while the skirt cascades down in a beautifully textured layer.  I love the way the over skirt forms the shape of an inverted “V” trimmed with ribbon.  Best of all, the Lomomo group is completely free to join, so this charming dress won’t cost you a single Linden dollar!

Enticing Polka Dots Paired with Spooktacular Shoes

 

Greetings, Fabulous Readers!  I hope you are having a relaxing weekend.  After recovering from his traumatic experience at the V.E.T. last week, Ripley quickly bounced back and soon headed off, nose to the ground.  With nary a step off target, he led me directly to Entice and didn’t stop until he sat in front of the Midnight Mania board.  After looking up at the polka dot dress, then back at me, Ripley whined, then tapped the board with his paw.  I bet you know by now, I’ve learned it’s best to follow my pup where ever he takes me.  Sure enough, Rip’s intuition was right on the money.  When I logged in to SL the next day, I saw the inventory offer from Entice and set straight to opening the box and pulling out the Side to Side dress.

With its bright, circular pops of color splashed across a black background, and a red belt to accentuate the waist, this cheery dress offers a fun addition to your SL wardrobe and won’t put even the slightest ding in your budget.  The Midnight Mania board does require you to join the Entice group, but it’s free to join, and there are a bunch of lucky boards and gifts just waiting for members to claim.  On our way out, Ripley befriended this adorable Corgie in a lobster outfit and I had to take a quick snapshot of the little guy.  Isn’t he cute?

In search of the perfect accessories, the pupster and I journeyed over to Cae, one of my favorite jewelry stores.  As we arrived, I noticed the glowing Gacha Guardian Rune Stone right away.  Cae has a free charm bracelet set out and you can try your luck on the Gacha board for a plethora of Trick or Treat charms for 75L a turn.  From an adorable pumpkin, a spooky ghost, a witch hat, a spider, and my favorite, the silver cat (well, my name is Kat :P), these charms all magically attach to the free bracelet with the included HUD.  You can opt to wear Cae’s bracelet as a simple chain, snap on a single charm, or add as many as you like.  Now, I have to admit, Gacha machines are my nemesis and Ripley’s eyes became a bit worried as I was determined to get…. that….cat….charm.  It didn’t take long, though, and I soon had a jingly charm bracelet to add a Halloween theme to my outfit.

All that was left was a cute pair of shoes.  Ripley and I had read Astrid’s post here about the Spooktacular Goth Hunt over at Swank Events, and decided to check it out.  After a short time of searching, we discovered the black rose containing the free prize from Ghostyss, which is this gorgeous pair of Carrie heels for slink high feet.  I particularly like the way these sweet black shoes have a thin cord that wraps around your ankles and ties in an adorable bow on the back.  There are numerous black roses scattered around the Swank Events show room, in designer’s booths and cleverly hidden all around, so look everywhere and you will discover LOTS of prizes, all set for sale at 0L.  The hunt runs until October 31st.

Now, Ripley must have some Blood Hound coursing through his veins, because after we finished at Spooktacular, he was off and running toward another hunt, with me scrambling to keep up with his racing paws.  This time, he led me to LaBoheme for the Halloween Hunt, which is a 1L hunt that runs through November 2nd.  All you have to do is locate the glowing jack o’lantern cleverly concealed in the store and soon you’ll have two sets of nail polish for Slink, Omega and Maitreya.  I’m wearing the “Dark Passion” polish (this shade is one of the ten colors in the HUD) for this outfit, but in the hunt prize, you also get a spooky Catacomb polish as well).

A trip to Black Basalt Beach was a perfect way to end the day.  Ripley and I explored the lovely grounds, had fun playing fetch and followed some shy deer across a log suspended over a gully.  There are so many sights to see at this beautiful sim.  If you have free time and love to visit SL locations, I encourage you to check it out.  Until next Sunday, happy shopping, my friends!

A Second Chapter

Hi Fabulouses!  Guess who else is celebrating an anniversary?  When it rains – it pours… and it’s raining free group gifts in celebration of their second anniversary over at this round of The Chapter Four!  I am showing you six of them in this post, but there are a good 25 – 30 of them – and the group is free to join!

Kirei at The Wash Cart Sale

I thought I would do something a little different in todays post about The Wash Cart Sale. I am showing you a couple of the items from the Kirei cart and the names of their dresses inspired me to go searching in the dark depths of the inventory Library that is part of everyones inventory to find the perfect thing. If you are of a nervous disposition you may not like the pictures that follow.. hey I don’t like them and Im the one in them! Zombies noooooo! Where is Rick when you need him?

There are several colours of the Shot Through Dress on the Kirei cart. The colour above is called Infected, While the colour below is called Ghoul. The Sadie Zombie mesh avatar is free and can be found already in your inventory. It also comes with a male version called Ian. These are part of the new wave of sign up avatars that you can choose from when you create a new account with Second Life.

I Want To Take A Breath That’s True

Hello dear readers! We are past the hump in another week and I hope the days are being kind to you.. and evenings too! Today I am showing a few discounted items and another gift from the FabFree 7th Birthday Cupcake Hunt!

The Arcade Gacha is still going strong and today I am wearing the Fade Into You hair by ClawTooth which comes in lots of colours, plus a rare version with hats which is really adorable. I wasnt lucky enough to get the rares but I love the version without the hat just as much! The adorable Gigi bag is by The Sugar Garden and is from their gacha there also. It is so so cute and I adore that you can change the colour of the lace edging to suit your mood – or remove it completely!

The Meri Two Tone Dress by M&M Female Fashion can be found at the Nice To Be event that starts a new round today. This is a pack of two dresses, one in print as shown and another in plain black. The Lita Platforms For SLink High Feet are by Emporium and are also at the Nice to Be event. You can find these in the Gacha there in a range of colours. The ones I am wearing are the Rare version which comes with a colour change HUD!

Lastly here is a close up of the Black Jewelry Necklace by Ozlemimsinn Brahm and is one of the Free gifts found in one of the 50 cupcakes for the Birthday Hunt at the FabFree HQ! It also comes with earrings but with my hair it was difficult to see them.
