I really waffled over this post for the Quasar Hunt, My Dears. I like to stay positive and up beat but I had a few banging my head on my desk moments while weeping “Where IS it!” with this Hunt. The prizes are awesome and the folks who organized it are fantastic. That said… this Hunt is not for the faint of heart. It’s kind of like the Twisted Hunt. But… I know some of y’all really dig a challenge. And those who make it through are gonna be loaded with great prizes. So grab your HUD from Fallen gods, Inc. and get to hunting.

The minute I saw this gorgeous cocktail dress I knew, despite the challenge, I had to show it off. This is the ‘Nadya Cincher’ from {MV} and I’m in love. The detail in the fabric is stunning. And the modern style is so trendy. Nadya comes with a HUD to change both the bodice and the skirt separately. You get this deep blood red and six other jewel tone colors to play with. My cute little choker is from Blinsen & MaiTai and it’s also a Quasar prize. This is ‘Coraline’ and it does look a bit like the cat from the movie. The choker is unrigged and fully resizable. I was really impressed with the details even in the back where it ‘hooks’. Just beautifully made!

Once you get the HUD, you be teleported to the first stop. each time you find a Quasar, you’ll be offered a teleport to the next stop. Way back when I was a ‘duck – walkin’ n00b, I went on my first Hunt. And it darn near broke me. You guessed it. My very first Hunt was the Twisted Hunt.
But after being ‘baptized by fire’ as it were, I learned to love hunting. And my favorite, hands down, Hunt is still the Twisted Hunt. And I am loving the 2015 Fall Twisted Hunt #14 : Qi. The theme this round is ‘Black and White’ with a twist, of course. And those little spinning cubes are just as hard this year as they were last time. From the Twisted Home Page ->
Prepare to HUNT.
The boxes are hidden, and they are small. We’ve renamed random prims in the store the exact same thing as the hunt item, so the prize finder HUDs don’t work right. We’ve buried hundreds of empty prizes boxes in the walls and floor, so de-rendering the store will make it worse, not better… and wireframe is a mess. We move the hunt boxes around, so hints change all the time and the hint pages people try to publish are useless in a matter of days (sometimes hours).
Now, if that doesn’t deture you then you are going to have a great time, pulling your hair out, screaming at the screen and wondering WHY you’re doing it. But, all the while you’ll be having a blast and collecting some truly spectacular prizes.
Like this cool ‘Chi Shrug’ mesh dress from [MV]. It comes with a alpha and in sizes XXS to L. I love all the knit textures showing up now that it’s Fall and this one is quickly becoming my favorite. Plus it goes perfectly with the ‘Jeepers’ black laced boots from B!asta. The boots are one of two prizes ( packaged in the same cube) from B!asta for double the fun. The boots come with a shoe base and an alpha so they fit the system feet just fine.
I’m completing my outfit with the ‘Jade’ necklace from Atomic Fairy. This comes with a HUD to change both the large disk and the smaller bead on top with nine colors to choose from. With so many choices I think this will make it’s way into my regular wardrobe rather quickly.
My pose, with it’s spinning cubes, comes from Dimma in a five pose pack. Each pose comes with it’s own spinning cube and an optional sparkle. All of the poses are really well done and I’m tickled to have found a ‘new to me’ pose store!
The Twisted Hunt runs until October 19th so you’ve got some time to explore the 106 stores, plus all the side hunts. Have fun and get a little twisted!

Im always looking for a great pair of skinny pants and I just know that the Leather Stripe Leggings by Kitje Cherie are going to become a staple part of my wardrobe as they will look great dressed up or down. I really love the SayIt Tank by The Little Bat, particularly as you can use the HUD included to choose from several different slogans to appear on the front! I picked the “Bad Witch” slogan for today but I promise Im a good little witch really ~smiles sweetly~
If you are looking for a sexy little black dress then you have certainly come to the right place! The Night Out Dress by Sassy is the perfect amount of sweet and sexy and is bound to get you noticed!
Another really cute dress that can be found is the Summer Comes Dress by Bubblegoth. Perfect for the little goth girl who wants to sneak out and get a little bit of sunshine.. but not too much!

If you love the survival horror genre of console games then this will be right up your dimly lit, zombie strewn street. Snatch and friends have created a very special interactive game that will run until the 17th of November. Please be aware that this is very gorey and is not for the squeamish. I have a high squeam factor and I found this quite icky in some places and very very tense and atmospheric!
When you land make sure you get your System Failure HUD package. You will need wear the HUD to be able to interact with everything and for it to register your progress and give you hints at what to do next by reading the green text that appears. It also registers any items you need to proceed. You also get the Lab coat and Employee Badge Lanyard shown below:
Bear in mind that this isnt a hunt, it is a game where you will have to interact with the background, read clues, finding codes and items that will help you proceed to the next part. Trust me you will need your eyes wide open along the way. As you move through the game you will also be looking for silver shield badges to purchase for L$0 .. these contain prizes donated by lots of generous designers.
My advice for you is… Interact with EVERYTHING, try to open things, read things, touch things and look EVERYWHERE! You never know what you might find or where you might find it! There are 60 or so hidden Shields to find.. I don’t think I found them all but I found a huge chunk of it! Please don’t ask me where specific things are because I really couldnt tell you their exact location as there are so many prizes and being involved in the game play is quite disorientating.
I will be doing this in a couple of parts as there are quite alot of things to show and I don’t want to hog the blog! I really hope you will give this a go as it is alot of fun! ALL of these items are found INSIDE the game as you move around the areas so there are no individual SLURLS to give.

I did two different hunts to get most of the items in my post today. The first was the Moolto Sister Hunt. In order to do this hunt you have to be part of their Moolto group which costs L$ 50. You then go to the webpage and click on the name of the merchant to get not only their hint, but also a LM to their location. Make sure you stop at the first one because in order to get the gift, you also have to be wearing the Moolto Glasses that you get from the bear there. He’s big and you just click on him to get it.
The second hunt I did was the Fashion Story Fair 2013 Hunt, You pick up the HUD from the little booth right at the landing point. Then you wander around the sim looking for these tiny magazine stack… These each give you a different suitcase. You are looking for the suitcase that is “OPEN”, this will give you a landmark to the Secret Dressing Room. In the dressing room, are items from the merchants that are set at L$ 5. I liked all the suitcases.. so I ran around picking them all up even after I found the one that was open 😀

Today I ran over to the Boats & Bikinis Expo, and did the hunt there…. “How does the hunt work Care?” you ask…. well…. They posted the instructions on the website hehehe… Here they are…
INSTRUCTIONS: Visit the Hanalei Tourism Office on the Expo sim to start the hunt! Follow the clues and search for suitcases inside each store! You MUST complete this hunt by following each clue in order–skipping ahead is not allowed! Use the teleport boards placed around the sim to easily find each location!
((PLEASE NOTE! Capacious is not on the teleport boards, but the store IS on the sim! Simply take the teleport to Aphrodite Shop–it is right next door, or you can take the linkie in my post here…. I snagged one for you <3))
So… go and find those lost suitcases and get your loot!! But first…. check out the gifties you get!

These comfy capris & crop tops are by :{MV}:, and are 10L each (capris and tops sold separately). Colors, left to right: Lavender, Tan, and Sky.
Colors above are Antique, Mint, and Rose. Note that the mesh sizing is a bit smaller than usual; I normally wear a size XS, but I had to wear a S in both the capris and top.
