Welcome To My Nightmare

I’m not saying that being pregnant is a nightmare.  I’m not saying having children is a nightmare, I have one of my own!  I certainly empathize with people having fertility struggles, as I have so many friends who needed help to conceive.  This, though, is my personal nightmare.  Pregnant in SL?  Pregnant at this age?  Pregnant again?  Stuck at home doing laundry with no help and this gigantic belly?  Nope, nope, nope, I’m out!

I just had to blog these gifts though, because it’s also what makes SL so very fun and funny.  When I was trying on gifts from the TSS Hauntiversary, I even mentioned in chat that I should do a pregnant blog post with this gift, and I just couldn’t give up the idea.   First, we should talk about all the gifts I’m wearing in this pic:

So ladies, any of you out there want to pull a prank on your partner for Halloween, or any time of year, this is a great set of gifts to keep in your inventory for the occasion.  I know for a fact there are free pregnancy tests on MP (at least there used to be!)  I don’t know from experience, but I know via friend’s experience, having a baby in SL is an expensive venture, just as it is in RL.  Personally, I will keep mine to RP photos only! lol

OK Fabs, have I got a great gift for you today, along with a whole bunch of other great gifts, because I’m drowning in a pile of gifts and I’m loving every minute of it!

Light Show

First, I want to talk about this unexpected group gift that dropped into my inventory through my notices.  [eyecing] is a make up store, generally, but it looks like Cheese has a new found addiction to PBR, so she created this entire megapack with PBR textures and sent it to her group.  It’s the Winnie Megapack.  There are a lot of parts to this gift, look what’s in it:

• Dress (rigged for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn)
• Shoes (rigged for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn)
• Nails (rigged for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn)
• Horns
• Tail (can’t see)
• Eyeshadow (BOM for EvoX in 5 colors)

Of course, I went to my favorite PBR art exhibit, [ARTSY] ARCANUM to take my picture and I still didn’t do it justice.  I could see all the gorgeous colors reflecting in my dress, but it’s hard to capture everything I’m wearing and be close enough to show you how spectacular it looks.  The dress and shoes are in a black PBR texture, and the nails, tail and horns have a little red streak that go through them.  Currently the only place to get this group gift is in the notices of the [eyecing] group, which is only 25L to join.  She’s still in the middle of relocating her in-world store, so it’s not up there yet (but there are 2 Fab Free group gifts that are).  You can join the [eyecing] group by pasting this into your chat window to get the link:

All You Zombies

I love it when a post comes together.  I’ve wanted to use this song during October for 2 years now.  It’s by a band called The Hooters, that was popular in the 80s.  They’re from my hometown of Philadelphia and I loved them so.  This song runs through my head so often, and now I finally have a way to use it thanks to Spookzilla!

Stitch me up

I didn’t really have ‘wear a zombie outfit’ on my Fab Free bingo card, as I’m not really a fan of zombies.  It’s the noises, really.  “Click click click, gurgle gurgle” shudders.  That being said, I totally fell in love with this outfit from Red Blossom I saw in the Spookzilla keys and went on my way in an hours long search to find it.  So there are 414 stores participating in Spookzilla this year, which makes it not so easy to find what you’re looking for.  Make sure you accept the notecards when you land, they also hold the keys and tell you which stores have their items on which sim.  It’s almost worse than Twisted, but it can be done!

The Zombie Bae outfit comes in pastel tones and autumn hues with or without blood.  Each pattern is sold separately for 25L  It’s rigged for:

• Lara X/Petite X
• Legacy/Perky
• Reborn/Waifu

I picked up a bunch of other items I wanted there too, all by the store Epitome.  Fancy lighters in my ears?  Sign me up.

I added 2 other freebies that worked perfectly for this outfit.  First I used the free gift from Nanitas Designs I picked up at TSS Hauntiversary where there are over 100 free gifts waiting for you.  This tattoo is BOM and comes in fresh and faded.  You have until November 2nd to shop.

Last, I popped over to Starlights Farm when I saw this Zombie ice cream in Fab Finds.  It’s a group gift, and the group is free to join, plus it’s stinkin’ cute like me. 😉

Hey Fabs!  Well, I finally did it.  This is my 365th day posting on Fab Free in a row!  I’ve finally made it a full year, blogging every day, now that we haven’t had a pesky hurricane come through (yet!).  Of course, FLICKR decided today was the day that it won’t upload my photo, by the time you’ll see this post I’ll have been working at that part for 3 hours now (but Flickr sends their warm regards via email. 🙄) I eventually just used gyazo and will replace with a FLICKR link at some point.  These are the reasons I might take a day off of blogging here or there, tech issues.  Otherwise, I’m 100% committed to finding you freebies on the daily. ♥

I’ve got another fun one for you.  I saw this hunt on Seraphim, and it sounded so familiar, and I knew why when I landed …  I take blog pics here sometimes.  How fun that Pusassari has put together a nice little pumpkin hunt for us for free.  It’s not a difficult hunt, but it will have you traveling around the SIM to explore, the best part is, that it’s gorgeous there.  Of course, I took my picture for this post at Pusassari.

Mish Mash

I was very enamored by this hunt and I hope you are too.  No group is needed, you just need to find (18 I think?) pumpkins, click each one and bring it home for free.  There’s plenty of time yet, the hunt is open until November 17th.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention my earrings, probably because you can’t see them through my hair.  Sorry, Luova, I’ve failed you in my post, but I love these.  These are delicate little spiders, with a gem for the back, and you can see an example in her Flickr post here on the left.  There is an extensive hud for coloration and they are perfect for any time of year.  You can get them free by joining the TSS group and picking them up in her pumpkin at TSS Hauntiversary, which is open until Nov. 2nd.
