Zombies can be pretty too!

When I started this post, I already knew what I was going to be wearing, but after seeing a picture of the retro pin-up skin from Little Bat @ The Vintage & Cool Fair, I knew that was the final touch. I was totally wrong! When I got to the Little Bat, I found that not only did they have the beautiful skin I had seen a picture of, but they had a zombie version as well! So I had to mix my look up a little, and all in all, I think I like it. Lemme show you what I came up with.

First off, that skin from The Little Bat! I am wearing the Zombie Pinup Skin in the decay version, but you also get a ‘clean’ version. Both are this wonderful green tone, with the same gorgeous pinup makeup and eyebrows as the normal skin, that you can buy for L$1 seperately. My favourite part, you get appliers in the package with the skin. 2 skins, plus appliers, all for only L$1. That is a total steal. While they are zombie skins, you could easily use the clean version for any kind of look that you wanted green skin for…Wicked Witch anyone? I did not catch how long the Vintage & Cool Fair is on until, so if you are liking this skin, or want to see what it looks like in a normal colour skin tone, you better run on down.

The pretty lingerie and stockings I am wearing, is from the current round of The Candy Factory, which is only on until the end of the 14th, which is tomorrow. The Sweet Love Lingerie in Wine, from Sour Pickles, is only L$65, and it is separate upper and lower mesh underwear, with system layer stockings. A SLink applier is also provided for the stockings. If you are thinking you might want this in brighter colours, there is also the same set in pink, with white stockings, for the same price. I love the little bows on the skirt. Hey, just because I am a zombie, does not mean I can’t wear something pretty 😛 .

Now all I need is a Zombie cutie to appreciate my Zombie loveliness! LOL.

Hello all! Boy oh boy, do I have some great finds for you tonight! From a group gift, to hunt gifts, to just a great deal, I really think you will like what I’ve put together to show you. Lucky for me,  this is another great Halloween look, and I think it will be the one I submit for this month’s FabFree photo challenge. What do you think?

Let me start off with this gorgeous skin. It is this month’s free group gift from Lumae, which is also free to join. She is from the Evie line, and is called Lady Death. Don’t you just love it? You get 2 skin tones, the Cream tone, which I am wearing, and the even lighter tone of Icing. To get the total eyeless look on the skull half, there is a black-out eye texture included, which means you will need a mesh eye for the other side if you don’t want to have 2 black eyes. Who says you need a full face of skin to be sexy? LOL.

The cute outfit I am wearing, minus the underwear, which is a set I had in my inventory already, is actually unisex! The zebra striped pants,  tank, and hoodie, make up the D’Void outfit from Glo-Mart, and is available at the current round of the Candy Factory. For only L$65 you get all 3 pieces, of which, the pants and hoodie are mesh, in standard sizes that will work for women as well as men. I did have to add underwear, as this is a family friendly blog 🙂 There is a Lola’s Tango applier for the shirt included. You only have until the 14th to hit this round of the Candy Factory, so if you like what you see, don’t wait.

To finish up my skully look, I needed a manicure and pedicure, so I went with a hunt gift from La Boheme. Right now, La Boheme is participating in quite a few different hunts, so I really had my pick of what kind of nails I wanted. I settled on the River Styx hunt gift, the Voodoo Skull SLink mani and pedi, which were only L$1. There is actually a second set of polishes for this hunt as well, called Blood Roses. I’ve included a picture I took of the display ad that was posted at the shop so that you can see both sets.

What better place to take a picture than outside a creepy, misty cemetery. That great scene is courtesy of my new favourite spooky place, The Haunted Sim, which I first showed you HERE. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. I even ran into a FabFree reader who was checking the place out after seeing my post…she thought I was a part of the scene as I was setting myself up. LOL. *waves to Danni* Really…go check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Ms.Donna didn’t do it! Honest.

Ahhh October. This is one of my favourite months, for many reasons. Here in Canada, it means Thanksgiving, yayyy for turkey, the weather is cooling down, with trees changing colours, my RL birthday is getting closer and closer…but mainly, HALLOWEEN! I just love Halloween. While poking around The Candy Factory, I was inspired to put together my first Halloween themed look. Oh, and ignore the dead bodies around me, I swear I found them like that 😉

While not scary or spooky, the Ms. Donna outfit from Physco, available @ the current round of The Candy Factory, is definitely fun. For only L$89 , you get a beautiful mesh corset, system layer undies, system layer stocking, a black pearl necklace, with optional mouth piece, a cute little tiara, a ruffled shrug, SLink high feet shoes, and rings for both hands, of which I am not showing the last 3 listed. I know, that is a bit above FabFree’s price range, but that is a lot of bang for your buck, so I won’t tell if you don’t 😉 .I think the little tiara is just the cutest accessory, and I can see myself adding it to other Halloween outfits just because I love it so. You have loads of time still to head over to this event, as it runs until the 14th.

Needing an extra little Halloween touch, I headed over to [freebird] and grabbed up one of their free group gifts, the Jack-o-Lantern SLink nail hud. The group is free to join, and with so many group gifts given out constantly, as well as a wall of past group gifts still available, it is one group I stay in for sure.

Before I leave you all, I just have to give a shout out to the owners of the sim I took my pictures at, HAPPY HALLOWEEN Haunted Sim. I keep a notecard of beautiful and interesting sims to take my pictures at, and while I have a few listings for creepy places, I wanted to see if I could find a Halloween setup. All I did was type ‘Halloween’ in search, and when I saw Haunted Sim, I had to go. You land at a boat dock, where you can then sit in a quaint little row-boat (with multiple sits available, go with your honey, or friends, you will be glad of the cuddle company, trust me). The boat will take you on a 20 minute ride through all sorts of creepy, ghoulish, and ghastly scenes! It was awesome. I had to creep back in to actually take my pictures, but it was well worth it. Expect to see more scenes from this place in my pictures as I do more Halloween themed posts.

The Candy Factory is making a Diva out of me!

A new round of The Candy Factory started up a few days ago, and I had to check it out, as the theme this time around…Drag Queens! I fell in love with the offerings from Co*Motion.

Nothing says glitz and glam more than a black feather stole, as really, the only practical use for it is to make you look good. The Diva Stole does just that, complimenting the gorgeous Diva gown perfectly! For only L$50, it’s a steal. I have to say too, I did not have to adjust it one bit. That never happens 🙂

My look would not be complete without a fabulous pair of heels, and lucky for me, Co*Motion had that covered too, with the Diva heels for SLink high feet. Another bargain, at only L$75.

While the stole and shoes could work for many outfits, I highly suggest grabbing the Diva mesh dress too. Though it is not L$75 or under, at L$100, it’s still a great price.

The Candy Factory runs until October 14th, so you have a little bit of time, but as I keep discovering, time flies, and before you know it, the event you planned to go to and kept putting off, is over by the time you get you there 🙂

Rum Runner

Well my ship sank, but at least I managed to save the rum!

This post is really about the clothing, but I decided to have a little fun considering the pirate themed items in my outfit. There is just a little bit of time left for this round of The Candy Factory, and they are having a swashbucklin’ good time with lots of pirate themed goodness! I picked up this really cute long tank top from KRC, this one was my favorite out of the three pack. All three shirts in the pack have a pirate themed graphic, get all three for just $100 lindens. Also from KRC at The Candy Factory is this cute Jolly Roger hair-bow. The bow is completely FREE, so don’t miss out! If you haven’t had your fill of gachas lately, which I don’t think is possible, Plastik has a shoe gacha at The Candy Factory with pirate themed heels that are beautifully done and well worth the $50 lindens per play. To go with all this pirate loveliness I also picked up some glittery eye-makeup by Wicked Peach at The Countdown Room. I love makeup, as I’m sure you all know by now, and this is just too fun. Happy Birthday American Bazaar!

American Bazaar is celebrating their 4th birthday in SL and from 1st – 6th of September there will be lots of things happening from free gifts and group gifts to discounted items! Right now at the landing point, there are heaps of free gifts from other designers who are helping to celebrate! Today I am going to show you some.. Im not sure if the gifts are going to be there until the 6th so be sure to get there as soon as possible if you see something you like!

The Dark Body by PANIK is the main focal point of the first picture with the awesome Rose Shoes for SLink High Feet by The Candy Shop adding some pretty spectacular glitz. The Rose Shoes are not free but are L$1 to buy! There are others available too! I added the Lolita Shades by Luxe to give the outfit a bit of a cuter look. The Moon Crystals Earrings and Necklace by Chop Zuey add a bit more sparkle while the Nautical Wristbands by add a little more colour.

In this picture you can see another length of earring and necklace from the The Moon Crystals set by Chop Zuey. There are three lengths in all and it comes in both black and white.. which incidently, so does The Lace Top by MoDANNA. Here I am showing the black version. This also comes with Tango appliers!

The Gothic Bunny Does Cabaret

I’m just going to go ahead and dub this look “Gothic Bunny Cabaret”! Can you tell I’m feeling a bit sinister!? It’s the middle of the week and thank goodness, we are that much closer to the weekend. There are tons of fun events going on in Second Life right now, it would be nearly impossible to keep up with all of them. Either way, I’ve had a blast visiting a few of them. The Candy Factory is still going, though this round is ending soon. I picked up the black-lace sparkly top by Toxic High at the Candy Factory, gatcha style for just $25 lindens. The top is fun and a little bit racy, and I like that it comes with appliers for Lolas Tango. To go with my fun new top, I scouted around several events, and picked up the runny eye-makeup by Wicked Peach at the current round of The Countdown Room. They are just $50 lindens and I think they are dark but playful. I hope you like this sinister cabaret look as much as I do!

Picnic Time!

Hello Fab Free-rs, hope you’re having a lovely week so far. If you’re like me and live in an area where the hellish heat of summer is in full swing with August being one of the hottest months of the year, you’re looking for a way to relax and keep cool. WoW, look it’s Plastik Magika!

Weather Girl

Hello Fab Free Loves! Today is the last day for this round of The Candy Factory, so only a few hours left,  just a little reminder!
