I guess I’m writing a quick post for you today because I logged on to post my blog to find I hadn’t written it! LOL Such a Beachy thing to do. I was so exited for this hunt and to blog this adorable dress, that I took my picture right away and forgot the words. 😉
So there’s a Christmas Hunt at littlefox. and it’s totally free. You have to join the free group to participate, but then you can hunt down the 8 easy to find gold ornaments hidden around the store. I had my eye on this green dress, but I certainly hunted them all. You can see all the hunt items in the graphic below (click through to FLICKR if you want to make it bigger.

Light Show
First, I want to talk about this unexpected group gift that dropped into my inventory through my notices. [eyecing] is a make up store, generally, but it looks like Cheese has a new found addiction to PBR, so she created this entire megapack with PBR textures and sent it to her group. It’s the Winnie Megapack. There are a lot of parts to this gift, look what’s in it:

Of course, I went to my favorite PBR art exhibit, [ARTSY] ARCANUM to take my picture and I still didn’t do it justice. I could see all the gorgeous colors reflecting in my dress, but it’s hard to capture everything I’m wearing and be close enough to show you how spectacular it looks. The dress and shoes are in a black PBR texture, and the nails, tail and horns have a little red streak that go through them. Currently the only place to get this group gift is in the notices of the [eyecing] group, which is only 25L to join. She’s still in the middle of relocating her in-world store, so it’s not up there yet (but there are 2 Fab Free group gifts that are). OK Fabs, you know I always use song titles for my blog posts (and I always list some relate-able lyrics and the video on the FLICKR picture). You might think this is an odd song title for a post, but in fact, this song is an original hippie song from the 60’s, and it’s otherwise known as ‘The Flower Girl Song” 😉

Of course it was my free dress that inspired the song choice! I found this Riloa dress over at AMUI and it’s one of a few different colors, all gifts for various freebie groups. You can bring home this dress in all the colors you like by joining the group the gift is for, but I have a tendency to pick teal when given a choice, so I joined Mesh Body Friends for free and brought this home. You can find them on the opposite side of the wall when you land, and there’s lots and lots of choices. You know I love my hippie style, but I’m also super partial to the gold chain as one of the dress straps. It comes rigged for:

I’ve been hanging on to these earrings waiting for the right dress, and I can finally use them! They are a group gift from pr!tty, and the group is free to join. Bubble Gun Fun!
I decided to do a fun photo session surrounded by and dressed in bubblegum pink! I may have no where ‘appropriate’ to wear this gown, but that doesn’t keep me from wearing it! I picked up this gown free at AZUL, it’s her latest group gift. There’s 2 groups there, a free group and a VIP group, I joined the free group and came home with this gown in all it’s bubblegum pink glory. It comes with a hud so you can change the ruffles between pink, black and black lace. The gown also has these gorgeous sparkles that cover your chest. It comes sized for:

I accessorized this gown with some pretty earrings that are a free gift over at the Welcome Hub! They recently had a showcase and there’s some gifts available, up on the spiral ramp. I went all the way back to the 80’s to title this blog post today. How could you title it any differently though? This entire picture screams love!
The best love is self love
To be on the safe side, I’ve got some back up love from these seagulls. I may not have brought their favorite snack (anyone who lives near a beach can tell you about these little french fry and hot dog thieves), but I’m going to let them eat cake 😉 I know my way around and into hearts, and food is often at the center. lol
I stopped over at the new round of the MIIX Event, and found some free gifts! There were a few gifts strewn about the event, and today I’m showing you these:

Free dress from Sofia which comes in this great white shade that’s almost got an ivory sheen to it, complete with a couple of broaches that of course I forgot to wear but they really give it that finishing touch.
