Hey hey Fabs, it’s almost the big day!  Are you ready?  I just have to make it through this 14 hour day today at RL work and then I can relax.  No relaxing in world though, the free gifts keep on coming, so make some room in your schedule for these.

Faking it

I picked up a whole bunch of gifts under the Christmas tree at Dubai, and I didn’t even need a group.  I bought them all for 0L.  Lots of them are wintery and Christmassy, even though it never snows in Dubai.  *Sighs* Dubai and Florida have that in common.  I fake it well in Second Life though, I love the winter in world!  I just had to show you these gifts, because YES there’s free hair, but also, look at these boots!  Much of what I’m wearing is unisex too, rigged for both male and female bodies.

A Red and Green Christmas

Happy Monday Fabulous readers!

What a weekend, hey?  Were you in-world?  Non-stop running, partying, laughing, stressing – a SL holiday mele!  I’m not complaining though, not a bit.  With each date of an advent calendar, I feel my January emptiness get closer.  I do love the madness!

Merry & bright

So I have 3 gifts to show you today, they’re all from !13ACT, but they’re all for different things, so don’t doze off during the post, you’ll need to pay attention 😉

My sweater is an adorable free gift at !13ACT to celebrate Reborn Revealed (which happens today!).  !13ACT generally only makes for Reborn, and this sweater is only in Reborn size.  It comes with a 6 color hud, and extra sparkles you can add to the sweater.  The bonus is, the !13ACT group is temporarily 1L to join!

My ‘dress’ (which doesn’t have a top) is an old group gift from 2023 and was perfect to go with the sweater.  This one comes in red or green and is rigged in more sizes:

Hey hey Fabs!

The FWRD event is open and the most exciting thing happened!  Santa dropped off a whole bunch of things for us, and they range from free to 50L.  There are items for male and female bodies, I saw plenty of fatpacks and megapacks too!  Some of the Santa Drops require the free group, some do not, but there are certainly tons of them to look through.  I went while I was at work and picked up a few things, and I’m definitely sending Sky, I peeped a nice megapack he will want.

Cheer For The Elves

There’s a lot to be said for Santa’s elves, and they never get enough credit.  Most of the songs are about Santa, even his reindeer, but they rarely mention his elves.  Thankfully I’ve got some free gifts to celebrate the elves, and I found a song that’s all about them too!

3 Cheers for advents!

You guys know by now that I’m a total fan girl of Yasum.  Her designs are sexy and sassy, fit like a glove, and she uses the prettiest textures.  Yasum does an advent every year, and it’s completely free, you don’t need a group or anything.  The best part is that you can get past gifts, so you don’t have to worry about missing a day.

Azlyn likes to make cute decor too, so in the front of the calendar, you’ll find unisex hats and different wearables, along with some nice decor (the cat chair!).  On Day 15 though, I got a message that today’s gift is just for the ladies, and I ran!  I came home with a perfect LBD (little black dress) for the holidays.  You’ll get a texture hud for the metals too.  It comes rigged for:

Hiya Fabs and happy Wednesday!

I have a whole free and fun Christmas Hunt for you today, put on by all the stores on the Black Orchid region, which includes Black Lotus, Foi, SOJOUR, Martyr and more!   You simply need to teleport to the region and purchase the hud for 0L.  The hud will track your progress (although I’m sure I found everything and the hud wasn’t completely filled in) and it will also give you hints.

You can see on the sign, each store has a 2D Christmas image that they’ve hidden around the region, there are 2 SIMs to look on, and they’re not always so easy to see (2D!).  I know you guys are clever though, and you’ll figure out how to find everything you want.  I found ‘most’ of my items in the courtyard or outside of the stores although not quite all of them.  Let’s talk about what I brought home for free!

OK Fabs, I’m going to start off this post with the very important information.  There are free gifts AND a free hunt at POSH this round, and I legitimately do not know which gifts from my post came from the tree or the hunt.  All I know is that I collected everything and stuffed them in a folder and then put together an outfit!

I’m in a holidaze!

A lot of days I can’t keep up, so to clear my mind, I just got right to work.  I donned my new cleaning uniform and gathered my supplies, and went to the dirtiest place I could find (which was the laundromat at Missing Mile) and got to scrubbing.

I guess I’m writing a quick post for you today because I logged on to post my blog to find I hadn’t written it! LOL  Such a Beachy thing to do.  I was so exited for this hunt and to blog this adorable dress, that I took my picture right away and forgot the words. 😉

So there’s a Christmas Hunt at littlefox. and it’s totally free.  You have to join the free group to participate, but then you can hunt down the 8 easy to find gold ornaments hidden around the store.  I had my eye on this green dress, but I certainly hunted them all.  You can see all the hunt items in the graphic below (click through to FLICKR if you want to make it bigger.

Heh, this was a fun blog post Fabs.  I remember seeing this dumpster out on the grid last year, but found it again at the DRD Hallowbrook advent calendar and knew exactly what I wanted to blog standing in front of it.

Holiday anthem

I have a few gifts from random places to tell you about.  First, as is their custom, the designers at Anthem have placed low priced items under the Christmas trees for you to shop.  A lot of them have pictures on them, some of them don’t, and they’re all 25L-50L.  I picked up a few things, but the one in this photo is my jacket and T-shirt from [REDGIRL].  I do adore this store so this was an easy purchase.  I’m sure it was 50L.  It comes with 3 holiday jacket textures and is rigged for:

• Lara X
• Legacy
• Reborn

Anthem is open until December 30th.

Gothmas

I shopped around at Gothmas, because while the season is beautiful and lovely, some days you just aren’t in the holiday spirit.  While this event doesn’t have ‘gifts’, I did find a few freebies around!

As is her custom, La Maldita Bruja made a gift to go with her outfit for sale there, and it’s the BOM bloody makeup and ornaments impaled on my face.  Brilliant.  You can find it in her booth and purchase it for 0L and bring it home.

I also found these ‘Holiday socks’ from Akikazu.  Now they are labeled right and left, and I’m not sure where she intended for them to go, but it’s your choice, really.  I decided to use them as pigtail holders and I think they’re adorable.  They could work as earrings, or just to hold too, I guess.  I just clicked the box for free (did I need a group?  I don’t recall), and they slid right into my inventory.  There’s also a batty santa hat there as a gift by TLB, but I wasn’t able to wear it in this picture.

Gothmas closes after December 15th, so this one is a little time sensitive.

How could I?

I almost forgot my free nails!  Venge has a free advent calendar, and no group is needed AND you can get past days.  Every day so far has been the prettiest set of nails.  I plucked these from Day 7, the Dark Holiday nails, because they were perfect for this photo.  Each one comes with a hud so you can change a few designs on each nail, and they come rigged for:

Some of the packages don’t unpack all the sizes, so if you see one of these sizes missing and you need it, drag it onto the ground and unpack it manually. 😉

Blue Christmas

When I was a kid, my Dad (who had a design business) would go all out decorating our old farmhouse for the holidays.  One year all the decorations were red and gold, and the next year they were blue and silver.  I do love a blue Christmas, I think I’ll do a blue Christmas post every year.

Freezing!

I mean, of course I’m freezing, I’m wearing shorts in a snowy outdoor area. lol  We Floridians don’t have that many long pants anyway. 😉  I wanted to show off this adorable new group gift from Bipolar, the Santi Sweater.  It’s cropped and fluffy and comes with it’s own lighted garland and a bunch of different holiday textures.  It’s rigged for:

The Christmas Tale

There’s this sweet little area, no fluff, no frills, and it has a bunch of cardboard decorations and Christmas trees.  What’s so special about THAT, Beachy hmmm?  Well, dangling off the cardboard trees are an assortment of goodies you can purchase for just 25L each.  There are things for male and female bodies, even skin fatpacks! I also spotted some hairstyles, and even the bow lips for Genus Morph.   The Christmas Tale is sponsored by Opulein and there’s a bunch of designers taking part.  I did a little shopping for myself, and this is some of what I came home with.
