It’s that time again, you fabulous people, to put all your plans aside and spend hours upon hours wandering through incredible builds and beautifully decorated regions while doing some shopping, gift collecting and donating to Relay For Life.
This has been the first time in a while I’ve actually had the time to spend and wander and take it all in. I spent 2 days roaming around, getting lost, finding my way back, and shopping, and along my travels, picking up free gifts! Now, Fantasy Faire isn’t anything like a shopping event with anniversary rounds and gifts, it’s something much greater than that, and you’ll have to wander it yourself to truly appreciate it. There are gifts, some are clearly obviously marked, some not, some are group gifts from various stores (most are free to join). I came home with a boatload of free gifts and I probably missed some! I put a bunch of them in this photo for you, because I think the other bloggers have much busier RLs and less time to wander the 20 or so regions the Fantasy Faire is on.

Fantasy Faire is the largest Relay For Life fundraiser in Second Life. In each shop, you’ll find vendors with the RFL texture, and anywhere from 30% to 100% donation. This means, if you buy an item from that vendor poster, that % will go directly toward Relay For Life. I did a good bit of shopping on the 100% donation vendors. It’s one of my favorite ways to donate money 😉
Fantasy Faire is ONLY OPEN FOR 2 WEEKS and it’s time consuming and you’ll want to spend time there so cancel RL – lol, and get moving (it’s truly a Never Ending Story). It’s open from April 18th to May 5th. We all wish it were longer, it had to take so much time to do all of those incredible builds. In the credits below, I’ve linked the SLURL direct to the shop’s store at Fantasy Faire so you can at least pick up what you like from this post easily, however all the links in for Fantasy Faire also link to their webpage, where there is a shopping guide and a list of stores with SLURLS.
