I thought we’d have a slow month. No way, Jose! There are a multitude of hunts and events happening all over the place. Today I’m showing off a couple of the many gifts you can lay your hands on!

We all need a bag now & then. This great bag is one of the Surprise hunt 5 prizes. You’re looking for a little white bunny rabbit. The Rock Music bag is from the Shabby Chic shop located on the Harambee sim. It comes in black only with a set of gold musical notes on front. And yep, it’s roomy enough to put all the stuff I need to fit in it. It comes with 2 versions – one with a pose and one without. It will cost only $3L and as usual benefits the Harambee-Gwassi projects. This hunt runs until April 30th.

I’m also wearing a pair of boots I picked up for free at the Miix 4th Anniversary event. These stylish boots are a gift at the event from Dark Love, the Elika Super High Heel Boots. This is a pretty awesome pair of boots for the spring & summer. It comes with a nice hud of different colors/textures. You will need to join the free Hype Events group to pick up the gifts. Sizes included are: eBody Curvy, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, SLink, and Star. The event runs until April 20th so you have a few days left to grab all the fab gifts there.

Velour Mall is having another hunt. Items for the Hollywood Glam hunt are priced from $10 to $25L. Look for the gold stars scattered in the middle of the mall and the stores. I’ve got the Intimo eyeshadow by Fontaine Cosmetics on today. Each of the eyeshadow packages contain 2 BOM shades. This set costs $15L. Here’s a look at the hunt key. The hunt ends on April 22nd.

Telsiope’s Couture has a brand new release out today. This is the Sonia dress at the main store starting today. The base dress is priced at $80L. There are also six different huds to choose from; each is priced at $10L. It looks like a two piece outfit but the top and skirt are one piece.

Cosmopolitan is still celebrating their 12th Anniversary, and they’re doing it with a SECOND round of their event, filled with even MORE free group gifts for their group members.  To take part, join the free Cosmopolitan group, and then click on the little crates located in each display.  It just opened today, but it wasn’t too busy when I visited, but it could get busy any time.  Anywhos, here’s what I’m wearing:

Hey Fabs!

I love these gifts the most.  The secret gifts.  The gifts you only find if you’re exploring.  I found this awesome historical gown the last time I was exploring Victorian London and I’m finally ready to show it to you today.

Fun Fact

I didn’t grow up in London, but I did do some growing up in Pennsylvania, which does have some history behind it, at least also in this time period.  IRL, I have a coffee table made from a wooden seat of an antique covered wagon, which I think is so cool.  I didn’t appreciate it when I was young, but now, it’s so WOW!  Also in my home, I have 2 brass stage coach oil lanterns that used to be on the outside of a stage coach just like this!  There’s a spot to light the red light or the white, and I think they’re so fantastic.  I did also once have an antique wagon wheel, but the offer was too good on it and I had to sell it 😉 lol  Must ensure I don’t hoard awesome things in either life!  Ugh.

Back to fantasy

So this gown I’m wearing comes courtesy of BMe, who makes a large assortment of historical clothing in SL.  I found it when I was wearing a prior gift of theirs and exploring to find a place to take a pic.  BMe has a satellite store in Victorian London and this gift hangs in that shop!  Miss Lidia is an all in one outfit, the gown, hat and gloves and is completely free.  What a steal!  No group is needed for this gift, just pop over and buy for 0L!

This gown is only rigged for Maitreya Lara, but since it’s full coverage, should be able to alpha to fit on most similar sized bodies, except maybe the gloves.  The dress itself though, fits like a glove 😉
