Those who wander

Do you guys ever get on the Grid and just wander? Pick a random place to start… maybe you saw a photo location you liked and popped over to see… Then it led you somewhere else and further. That’s what I did today. Just went for a wander to see the sights. I am constantly amazed at the beauty of some of the SIMs. I spent some time at Sparrow Springs and just relaxed watching the world go by.  A big part of my enjpyment today was the comfy casual “walk about” clothes I picked up for almost free.

Long and Short

My new Capris are from Graffitiwear and I picked them up for free on the Lucky Board. These are the ‘Free Spirit’ capris and they come with a HUD for a ton of color and pattern choices too. You do need to be a group member to play the Lucky Board but the group is only 25L to join and it’s well worth it for the Boards and the gifts.

Yes, please do completely drape me in pastels.  I have no issue with that at this moment, and since all these fun pastel finds are free, then I beg you to drape me in even more!  Yeah, I’m not sure what I’m talking about either, but that’s ok, we’ll get through this together!

Back at the Garden

Fab Free Flickr Pool Cover: Pipe Laval

This week’s Flickr Pool Cover goes to Pipe Laval, who often manages to catch our eye with her cool and creative posts.  Recently, she mixed gachas that she bought on Marketplace (which are often a lower price than the initial pull price) with group gifts from Cynful and Kiu, interspersed with some Fifty Linden Friday Finds.  Now that’s our idea of deal hunting!  Great work Pipe, looking forward to more!

I may be weird, but I love a dollarbie sale…

Hey Fab Free! I hope you’re having a fabulous week. I have been pretty productive for the last few days, so I decided to relax by getting cozy in bed with some great dollarbies I found by Jellyroll, which are on sale in their marketplace store right now.

Jellyroll’s 1 L Sale

Jellyroll closed their in-world store about a year ago this month, but the owner has graciously put up some of their creations for 1 L only in their marketplace store. Their creations are beautiful, so I naturally snatched up all the dollarbies I could find on there! You can get a range of products, including whole fatpacks of hair, clothing and shoes. I am not sure how long this sale will be on for, so buy these up before it’s over!

Pyjama Princess

The outfit I put together here is a combination of three items from Jellyroll: a pyjama nighty called “Sultry Nights PJs”, the “Princess Heels” and a cute shoulder-length haircut called “Alice”. All three items cost only 1 L each and they are all fatpacks which come with colour huds. The hair fatpacks in particular have huge customization, as reds, greyscales, blondes, brunettes and more huds are included.

I just love these PJs as they come with such witty slogans! This one says: “Me? Weird? Always.” How true. There’s a bunch of other funny and cute sayings on this PJ set, which makes it super fab!

A Little Help From my Friends

Not much gets me so excited that I have to grab the person nearest to me and drag them on my adventures (sorry Aline).  But when someone uses the word ‘hunt’ when  we are chatting there is nothing to stop me racing off right away. There is something about having to track things down with no guarantee what you are going to get at the end of it that makes you tingle with that little bit of excitement. It’s a lot like a birthday that you have just worked really hard for and there is nothing more satisfying than being rewarded for a little bit of effort.
You have until the 29th February (thank you leap year) to get down there and grab all you want.

Poking about…

Leigh has a hunt on right now and there is more than enough to make multiple outfits, and mix and match till your heart is content.  There are fourteen items to find and you don’t have to walk miles to get to them either. To start, head over to Leigh and sit on the poster advertising the hunt and you are taken right to the clue giver.  An added bonus is the fact you are given images of the items so you can prioritize your targets. Two of the items are free (envelope items), the remaining ones are hidden in lipsticks around the room, they are 10 lindens each which is still quite a bargain! The store also has gifts for members and might well be worth a look, happy hunting!

Feeling Hearty

I always joke about people getting annoyed at me about being covered in hearts.  I’m kinda really loving all the heart-spangled clothing that February is bringing us, and I’m probably not going to stop any time soon.  It makes me think of all the best things in the world: candy, stickers, and little cards from people you love.  Valentine’s day can suck in loads of ways for sure, but the hearts are a thing that just make me squee!

So Shady

The Shady Sim Hunt is going on right now, with all their stores providing a super cute hunt item which costs only 20L.  I went to three different locations on the sim and found this cuteness:
