Hello Fab Free, thanks for being here. My guy Blue and I were talking the other day and he started telling me about a dollarbie hunt a Simply Shelby that had lots of purple, unicorns, crystals, and fanciful things. I didin’t need to hear anything else. Are you kidding me? Unicorns, crystals, and lots of purple? I was in!
There are 12 pink, blue, or yellow Easter eggs hidden around the grounds at Simply Shelby for the Starry Skies Easter Egg Hunt. This hunt will last from now until April 14th. All the prize eggs are priced at just 1 linden each. In each egg there is a landscaping or décor item that is either Easter or fantasy themed, and most of them include the color purple. With the exception of the flowery grass filling in, everything in the above scene is a dollarbie hunt prize.
Lastly, there are 2 additional shops with their own prizes as part of the Starry Skies Easter Egg Hunt. I’ve included the ad for this hunt below to give you a preview. If you click on the hunt sign at any participating location, you should get a notecard with some hunt information and the landmarks to all 3 participating locations.

Spring really is here, I suppose, though we’ve all been a bit busy with all the world’s goings-on to notice it. It’s the perfect time to redecorate, start a new project, and even try out a new look. You all know it’s much easier to do it in SL, and I’ve found the perfect little details to get you started on your Spring reawakening!

Drowning in Group Gifts
I was really impressed by how many group gifts Dreams has for both men and women avatars. I counted 60 group gifts, and there are likely more coming; this designer is very generous! They also have rolling MM boards and lucky chairs. I am currently wearing the Cali Jean Dress Fatpack and the Glasses Anniversary Fatpack, both which are group gifts from Dreams. They come with colour huds with many options and many of the gifts at Dreams are full fatpacks with huds included which allow you to change the dress and glasses to 8-9 different colours. This is always a huge plus for me- I love being able to customize my look! These items are great and just a small selection of the gifts available at Dreams.
Weekly Dreamy Sales
In addition to the huge number of group gifts, Dreams also does weekly sales. Each week you can buy single items for 45L or 75L, items that are well within the Fab Free limit! Their weekly sales are available Friday- Sunday every week- so check these out! You can also buy full fatpacks at a discounted price during these sales (250 L). The sales are posted in their group notices and you can see them displayed in the weekly sales section of their store.
Support Your Community
Dreams is currently in need of support, and if they aren’t able to make enough sales in the coming months they may need to shut down their in-world store completely due to current economic uncertainty in both worlds. That’s one of the reasons I decided to join the Dreams group- to try to support this store while I still can! If they get more support they will hopefully be able to stay open! Dreams has been so generous in the past four years so I hope the SL community can pull through and give back- even if it is through a small way like joining their low-price group and checking out their (under 75 L) weekly sales.

After such a rainy weekend here, with loads of real-life chores, I plan on spoiling myself today with a lovely afternoon nap! The hair I’m wearing is by Alantori and it’s a freegift at the Welcome Spring 35L event. To join the group click the gift boxes at the vendor. The Welcome Spring Event runs until March 31st, so don’t delay! Alantori also made the stubble facial hair I’m wearing. It’s a gift for the Stay at Home Club, which you can grab at their mainstore.
My skin is the March group gift named Jin by 7 Deadly Skins. There is a 275L join fee for 7 Deadly skins. Well worth it because they give regular monthly gifts for both sexes. This skin comes with an Omega applier, and BOM layers. Lastly the eyes I’m wearing are from Madame Noir. They are the Saul eyes that are on sale this weekend for just 50L for The Manly Weekend.
As you can see I made myself comfortable on the desk top as this book got good. Pardon me while I TP home, and delve deeper into this book.
