Happy Last Day of September, Fabulous Readers! The month flew by for me, and it’s hard to believe it will be October tomorrow. Today’s post features a free camisole top that I opted to pair with a jacket because of the cooler fall temperatures. That being said, I think it would also work well worn by itself or coupled with an overshirt.
Crisp and Clean
I love the contrasting hues in my outfit today. If opposites are not your cup of tea, my new tank top from Arata Shouten will coordinate well with just about anything because you can easily edit the color. The folder includes two options for the camisole, a white and a gray tint that you can customize by right-clicking and selecting edit. After that, you’re limited only by the colors of the rainbow! I decided to stick with a bright white, but the sky’s the limit. Best of all, I picked it up for a grand total of zero Linden dollars and I didn’t need to join a group. The top is BOM, so you have to have a mesh body with BOM enabled to be able to wear it.

I love the 80’s. I’m sure I’ve rambled about it before, but there’s something about that decade that really makes me happy. It could be the madness of the fashion, it could be that amaaaazing music, the music videos peppered with vacant expressions…. or the fact that it was just a little simpler because the internet wasn’t really a thing yet. I guess that’s a bit weird coming from someone who inhabits a virtual world, but once in a while I long for a bit of time where nobody can get a hold of me. To be fair, the positives outweigh the negatives for the most part. I’ll tell you what I do really long for…. massive shoulder pads.

Ok maybe not, but it WAS a total power move to have big shoulders, and pencil thin pant legs, right? Just roll with me here, I promise I have a point… I think. Whatever the point is, this iteration on an 80’s theme by Quinnty’s is just so stinkin’ cute that I feel like I’m back in my parent’s house dancing with my dad to a 45 of “Dancing With Tears in my Eyes” by Ultravox. Imagine that you are going for a walk through a very deep, and very green wood. The type of wood where you are quite by yourself, not another human to be found. There is moss growing on the trunks of trees, and the silence is complete, save for the creaking of tree branches in the breeze. You realize all of a sudden that you’re entirely lost, and you can’t remember which way will take you back to civilisation. That’s where I come in (well, my character for the day, at the very least) a mischievous little fairy that you’re not quite sure whether you can trust. She seems to show you the way out, or is she herding you further into the forest? Only one way to find out…

Yes yes yes! The FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt is in full swing – and I am just completely agog as two gogs about the whole thing. It takes quite a bit of work to get a hunt of this size rolling (not to pat ourselves on the back or anything) and I’m just so pleased we’ve brought you a fun event filled with some really lovely prizes.
