Hello Fabulouses!  Happy weekend to you!  Ripley and I found a sweet free mini dress to share with you today, and combined it with some budget-friendly accessories to create my look.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Covered With White Lace

The foundation for today’s outfit is the light and airy Lace Mini from AlmaMiranda.   The free, June gift for members of the AlmaMiranda group, this sexy little sleeveless number features a high collar and a creamy white hue.  It hugs all your curves and offers a tantalizing glimpse of skin.   If you are daring, you can just wear the dress alone.  It is a bit see-through, so I chose to don a lacey lingerie set underneath, and pulled on a cropped denim jacket to cover up.

The Finishing Touch

For my one piece of jewelry, I slipped on the Bento Infinity Ring from Misha Jesuil, which I discovered for the promotional price of only 10L on the Marketplace.  This simple, yet elegant thumb ring is designed only for Maitreya Bento hands and required no adjusting whatsoever.  I’m not sure how long this special price will last, so if you would like to scoop up this charming bauble for yourself, I’d recommend doing so soon.

Under the Light of the Moon

Hello Fabulouses!  The other day, while Ripley and I wandered through SL, he stopped, and gazed intently into the distance, then suddenly slipped from his collar.  He bolted away, leaving me holding a dangling leash, and the chase was on!  I finally caught up to him as he paced impatiently outside the Lucky Night Shop.  I tightened his collar up a notch, slipped it around his neck once more, then followed my hound with a nose for fashion over to the group gifts corner.  Sure enough, Ripley had discovered another Fabulous Find to share with our wonderful readers.

A Dreamy, Draped Dress

Ripley’s nose pointed straight at the free Moon Dress, which is the current gift for the FitMesh Fanatics group.  Following the pupster’s lead, I switched over to my FitMesh Fanatics tag (the group is free to join), gave the group gift board a quick tap, and became the proud owner of this lovely, free gown. With softly draped folds gathered by a simple black belt at the waist, this floor-length gown reminds me of a Roman goddess dress.  A delicate shade of mauve, paired with a plunging neckline, and a daring, scooped back, lend this frock a feminine air.  I love the way it frees my skin to softly shimmer in the moonlight.  Simple, yet elegant, this gown would be perfect for role play, or an evening of dancing under the light of the moon.

Hello Fabulouses! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  In real life, I try to stay *far* away from malls and shopping on Black Friday, and the next couple of days afterwards.  It seems like whenever I think I’ve found a parking spot, it turns out to be a small car!  In SL, it’s a different story – no worries about parking here!  With a day off from work, Ripley and I traveled around, scoping out another Fabulous Find to share with our wonderful readers.

Gone Camping

Over at Etchaflesh, I had no trouble finding a parking spot.  In fact, I brought my trusty Kindle, along with the pupster’s favorite bone, and we settled into one of eight cozy camping chairs placed on the back wall of the store.  After just 30 minutes of “parking,” I happily welcomed this sassy, sleeveless parka to the fold for free.  It features a crop top, and a long vest that is accented with several jazzy buttons, stars, and stripes.  A color-change HUD allows you to alter the texture of the vest (outer and inner lining), crop top, and the decorative buttons, stars, and stripes individually, so you can create a variety of looks.

I’ve Got My Sassy Pants on Today

The trendy style of my parka called for slacks with attitude, and I located the perfect trousers – Pencil Pants for Maitreya by Beck.  These black, laced, leather pants provided just the look I was striving for.  I love the detail of the tied lacing.  Created exclusively for the Maitreya Lara mesh body, Mie Beck offers them for sale in her Marketplace shop for only 50L.  Mie states on her profile that her goal is to make a place where all people can afford to wear 100% mesh outfits.  These pants are not only budget-friendly, but stylish to boot!

From Head to Toe

The one Black Friday sale that Rip and I dared to venture to was at Truth Hair (Love told us about this super-saver event in her post [HERE]).  I scooped up the versatile Fenella hair for only 75L.  Able to be worn with and without the fedora, this chic ‘do features long, flowing locks, and a color-change HUD for the hat.  We had a hard time wading our way through the crowd in the lobby of the Truth store, but our persistence really paid off in the end.  I was able to scoop up several hairstyles at bargain prices.  Score for team Ripley!

After slipping on Lewis studded, flat sneakers from the Mesh Agency, Rip and I dusted off the bike, and pedaled over to the Gates of Melancholy sim where we worked off some of those Thanksgiving dinner calories by exploring along the beach.

Cheeky Amour In My Third Life

Good evening FabFree!  As I was popping around inworld today, a really pretty Third Life group gift caught my eye at Cheeky Amour!  The mesh floral mini dress as shown on my avatar is the group gift you can obtain after activating your inworld Third Life group tag.  This group is 5L to join, but after you pay the little fee you gain access to tons of rotating gifts from different participating shops.

This dress comes in XS-XL Fitmesh sizes with co-ordinating alpha layer as well as Maitreya, Slink, TMP, Belleza and Hourglass body sizing.

**  Note:  In my folder, one of the textures would not rez on the Maitreya size, but the Slink size fit just fine on my Maitreya body.  I am sure out of all of the sizes included – you’ll find one to fit you too.  I did notecard the designer so she is aware.
