‘Till now I always got by on my own

I don’t know if this is something that I should admit as a FabFree blogger, but I usually avoid hunts. I have nothing against them – you can get some really fabulous stuff through hunts and I’m sure that they’re fun for some people. But see, the thing is…I am really, really, really horrible at hunting. Really. So bad. I’m impatient and whiny and you won’t like me when I do hunts. So as a general rule, I don’t hunt. But there are always exceptions and so here we are, with me showing you a hunt prize.

The Day I Hunted

I saw this super cute romper on the FabFree group photo pool on Flickr and knew that it needed to be mine. If you haven’t joined our group on Flickr then you really should, people show some really great stuff and you can add your pictures of free stuff too and give me ideas of what to blog! Anyway, how cute is my romper? It is the Dumpster Dive Hunt free prize from Ambient. The texture is really lovely and I love the cute little belt, but my favorite part is the detail along the top edge. Sooooo adorable. There is a hint giver out front and it wasn’t too hard to find. I Found the “Escape Winter” Button

Happy Sunday, Fabulouses! After all that winter weather, and the tiff between Ripley and Baloo, I decided a vacation to a tropical climate was in order.  Rip and I packed our bags, and jetted off to this Italian villa.  No polar bears, no rain, no snow, just warm sunshine and gentle breezes.

She’s Got a Brand New Dress And She’s Ready to Shine

Of course, a balmy location called for a new outfit to celebrate, and lucky for me, Carrie Snowpaw has generously set out this gorgeous, halter-style frock as an exclusive free gift for Fab Free Group members. Finishing Touches

To accessorize my outfit, I scoured the Marketplace, and came upon these silver Triple Loop earrings from Vextra Co.  I wanted baubles that would provide a welcome touch of glimmer, yet still be simple enough to let the beauty of my dress take center stage.  These hoops fit the bill perfectly. Since their price tag was only 9L, I still have plenty of jingle in my purse to bring home a collection of souvenirs from our journey, and keep a certain someone well-supplied with Ripley snacks.

I Hear the Beach Calling My Name

Floating on the summery breeze, I can just barely make out the lapping waves of the ocean, inviting Ripley and I to wander along the shore, collect sea shells, and play fetch-the-stick.  Until my next post, Fabulous Readers, happy shopping!
