A Whisper of Pink

Happy Monday, Fabulous Readers!  Gus and I are popping in quickly to share a sale-priced outfit and hairstyle, as well as a free eyeshadow palette.  We hope you like them as much as I do!  They are still available at the time of publication, but I’m not sure how much longer you’ll be able to scoop them up.

Cascading Waves

I picked up my long, sideswept Jessika hairstyle at Exile as part of the Fifty Linden Friday sale.  I love the way the style is parted on the side at the crown and allows the sweeping curls to flow gracefully over one shoulder.  The hair is available in the Naturals or the Color Melts Packs, each of which contain five tones to choose from.  At just 50L$ per pack, it is a budget-friendly way to expand your hairstyle collection.  There’s no telling how long this special price will last.  If you fancy this style, don’t delay!

Pretty in Pink

The form-fitting Almensa dress from DM Design shines with a satin glow that catches the light beautifully.  It features long sleeves, a jewel neckline, and a hem that falls almost to mid-thigh.  Its simple style allows your natural beauty to shine.  I opted for a blush pink shade, but the enclosed HUD allows you to select from 30 colors.  The outfit also includes the knee-high boots I’m wearing in the photo.  The white buttons along the side add a pop of contrast.  The HUD allows you to customize the color of your boots as well.  Depending on how you accessorize, the Almensa outfit is perfect for a casual get-together or an evening out.  This complete outfit is on sale for just 49L$, but like the hairstyle, I’m not sure how long it will remain at this budget-friendly price.

Delicate Pastel Shades

Finally, I picked up the Byte Eyeshadow HUD from Cyber Princess for free on the Marketplace.  It features softly blended sparkling shades with a smudged winged eyeliner.  I went for a pinky-neutral duo, but there is a red version that would be ideal for the holidays.  The collection is designed specifically for Lelutka EVO X.  This is going to be one of my go-to shadow palettes for sure!

Summer in Venice In My Mind

I jetted off to Venice last night to travel the canals by gondola. It’s a time honored tradition that is highly recommended for travelers. I also learned that if you want your gondolier to serenade you, it costs extra. I’m pondering if I really need a song. Maybe I’ll just listen to him speak Italian. It’s a romance language. Why not?

I Took a Dip

You may or may not know this but the Unlucky Dip at Graffitiwear is open for all. No group is needed. The current prize, the Fever dress, is usually available from Wednesday to Tuesday. All you have to do is dive headfirst into the bucket with a Kraken in it. A little scary but nice when you win. The dress package includes a hud of print textures and they are lovely. This seems to be an older fatpack with plenty of sizes for older bodies as noted below.

We’re moving on in to snowy season, my favorite Second Life season, and I’m loving all my new cold weather wear.  I’ve got 2 great free gifts for you today.

There’s a ton of things I love about snowy regions in SL.  My body IRL feels cooler when the snow is coming down in SL.  The atmosphere and the pictures are really nice too.  I love the way the shadows reflect on the snow.
