Hair of the Dog??

I missed all of the partying yesterday evening. I found this cache of Irish Whiskey sitting there so lonely with no one watching over all of it. What’s a girl to do? Luckily I found an empty stein and set forth on tasting said whiskey. Guess I might have done a wee bit less swilling and more tasting. At least I look perfectly attired in a shade of green (and it’s not the color of my face!).

Feeling Pink

Nothing like a walk along the cliffs on a hazy morning to get your blood flowing. I even made friends with a fox! He said, “Oh, you’re a fox of the human kind, aren’t you?” How could I not like him? I bet he doesn’t get all kinds of prizes and gifts like I do. I should be quiet or the next thing I know he’ll be making himself an avatar for SL. I love the abstract texture on this stylish dress. My Ifanna shoes from Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes are not an exact match but the patterns gave me the same vibe. And each item is only $3L! Hotter Than Hades

Many of you are buried under massive amounts of snow but here in the South it’s hot. Wearing a coat or jacket is out of the question as we Southern ladies don’t want to perspire or even worse, sweat! Layers are fine for the night since you may feel a tiny bit of a chill. The heat is on here! Time to spruce up the yard, clean the pool, and boil a huge pot of crawfish and all the fixings. Yum!

Jungle Peace

I’m searching for peace in a jungle. Not sure I can find peace there but I know I can find solitude. It probably won’t be quiet either, come to think of it. Why the hell am I here? It’s not like I’m hunting down Tarzan or anything like that. Somehow it made sense for a brief moment. While many of you are tightly held in the grip of frigid winter weather going to a jungle sounds like a good plan. I’ve never heard of anyone freezing in a jungle. Have you?

It’s a New Year

Belle Epoque is at it again with another store hunt. That’s always great news. You don’t need the store group to participate in the New Year’s Hunt and each item costs $10L. I’ve got the totally stunning Jemina dress (#2 on the hunt key below) on today. If you’re a regular reader you know that I love animal prints. While I didn’t grab every item on the hunt this one called out to me. I’m just happy the dress ties are done already. Otherwise I’d have to be a contortionist to tie them all. Maybe searching for Tarzan isn’t such a bad plan. I bet Jane never wore a dress like this. Anyhoo, Jemina is sized for Ebody, Legacy, and Maitreya.

I Got New Shoes Too!

The other day one of our FabFree members put out a call in group chat for folks to slap the MM boards & check the lucky letters at Tooty Fruity. I hope your new year is treating you kindly. I have had one minor disaster after another since January 1st! But I’m still kicking in spite of wanting to kick something or someone. Let me give you an example. I somehow locked my cell phone and couldn’t remember my pin, I drove to the local cell phone provider’s store. I explained to the chick at the counter what had happened. Her response was “You need to call Samsung.” This was followed by me exclaiming loudly, “What part of this do you not understand? I can’t use my phone at all now.” And so it went until her co-worker told her to call Samsung on the landline and let me talk to someone. Thank you for having someone with a brain that works cell phone carrier.

Supa-Sexy at a Great Price!

I can always count on something daring or delectable from Telsiope’s Couture. I quickly became a fan after learning about the store in a FabFree hunt. The latest free FabFree group gift is the Doro outfit. It reminded me of a really cool biker chick look. The revealing top and tight pants fit me like a glove. It might be a wee bit too chilly to ride a bike while wearing Doro. I don’t care because I look super fabulous in it and so will you! Counting Down

Can you believe this year is nearly over and done with? When I realized this it was time to take a break from unpacking and reorganizing ye ole inventory. Traipsing around the grid scooping up all the goodies out there has worn this old gal out. I really can’t complain because I love doing it.

There are enough people in the world who love pumpkin spice so they don’t need me. I recently accidentally bought a bottle of pumpkin spice coffee creamer thinking it was it was peppermint mocha. Hey! the bottle looked the same. Should have worn my glasses & read the label. I know that it’s been a huge hit since someone decided to put it into coffee. Someone can have my share.

I got so excited when I saw this tee shirt was a hunt prize! It proclaims to the world that I am not in that number. The Bold Llama has the I Hate Pumpkin Spice tank top. Perfect! A Night on the Town

Finding Fall




Yay! Friday is here! Autumn is falling upon us down here in the southern U.S. The gods of weather have decided to send some arctic winds  & cold swooping down upon us. I guess that means bikini  beach days are over. I am so happy I can keep beaching it in SL, I also found this group of goats. I wonder if they know yoga?

A Walk in the Orchard

After doing a bit of hunting I needed a break. I donned my warm comfy outfit and and headed out to find an apple orchard. Luckily Max Magic has this great casual ensemble you can pick up on the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt for a total of $10L ($5L each for top and jeans). Beach Day! Yay!




Since I got less sleep instead of an extra hour I declared today a beach day! I landed at Kanaloa Surf Beach where you can stroll along a beautiful stretch of beach while enjoying the scenic vistas, go surfing or just hang out. I recommend a visit here if you need to hear the waves crashing. Luckily I found a perfect outfit to wear at one the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt stores.
