Hello Fabulous Fab Free’rs, this post has been a long time coming, as those of you who follow my Flickr know, and I apologize for the delay. Real Life has been a little hectic recently. Thanks for understanding. The month of July is quickly coming to an end, so if you haven’t picked up all the July group gifts now is the time! This pretty face is the July group gift at WoW Skins. Also, I wanted to share with you some cute FREE gifts from a shop called EmilyC.

The July group gift at WoW Skins is a generous one. It includes the “Katty” skin in 6 tones with system layers and an Omega applier for each. I was able to use the single Omega applier while wearing my Omega Relay for Maitreya and Catwa to apply the skin to my Maitreya body and my Catwa head at the same time. This means that the Omega applier should work for all Omega compatible mesh bodies and heads as long as you also wear the appropriate Omega relay. There is a one time join fee of 399 lindens, however upon joining you’ll be able to pick up the July group gift along with every previous group gift. Just remember to wear your group tag!

Next, this cute argyle print dress and the platform sandals are just two of several group gifts available at EmilyC. This was a new-to-me shop and they had so many FREE gifts, I thought I’d share my favorites with you. This dress is really cute on, and comes in several fitted sizes. Named the Kaja dress, this gift includes a classic fitmesh size, an Ebody size, Maitreya size, a TMP size, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes. The platform sandals come with a Maitreya fit, a Slink fit, and a TMP fit. With all the size options, there should be one that fits most bodies.
If pink is your color, these jeans are for you! Also a FREE group gift at EmilyC, these jeans come in standard mesh and fitmesh sizes, a Slink Physique fit, Slink Hourglass fit, a Maitreya fit, and a Belleza fit. Again, there are tons of size options, even more than with the dress, so honestly they should fit just about anyone. Plus, I think they are pretty cute with just a plain white tee. Lastly, I saw the pink jeans at EmilyC and had to pick up the FREE pink shoes as well! Like the other gift shoes, these platform heels come in TMP, Maitreya, and Slink sizes. As I mentioned previously these cute gifts are just a few of the several gifts available at EmilyC, and the group is FREE to join!

Lastly, I also want to point out that I am wearing the same FREE group gift skin from WoW Skins in both photo sets. I’m also wearing the same mesh head, and using the exact same windlight settings. I think it’s fun to see how slightly different a skin tone can look just by changing from a darker hair color to a lighter one.

Cruel Summer

This is gonna be a quick one since my real world is way too hot and the air conditioner is still kaput. So I’m all cranky and hot. 😦   I’m trying to forget my RL troubles with a bit of SL fun so I popped over to the Cruel Summer Hunt going on at the I heart the Cart sale. I thought ‘cruel’ was appropriate for my mood.

Just grab the Hint Notecard at the beginning and look for the cactuses along the trail to find all kinds of nifty prizes for 2L. I hunted down this cute tank and skirt from Cupcake Clothing. The off-shoulder tank and the skirt are separate pieces and each has it’s own alpha layer. Each piece comes in the standard Mesh sizes XXS-L. The great sun hat is also included and it’s unrigged Mesh so you can reposition and resize to your heart’s content.

The Cruel Summer Hunt and the I heart the Cart sale will only run until July 31st so hurry over.

Bikini Bliss

This hot 2 pc. Enzo Bikini that I picked up at The Hashtag Event as a free group gift by KC reminds me of a bikini I used to have once in RL years ago.  I wish it was a less embarrassing story… but I feel I have recovered from the incident enough that I can enjoy this one inworld now.

See what happened was…  I was laying on my belly enjoying the hot Cancun sun on my back in one of those stripey canvas loungers by the pool when I drifted off to sleep for a few minutes.  I woke up surprised that I had fallen asleep and needing to cool off in the pool.   Pushing myself up off of the lounger, I found my crumpled bikini top still…  on…  the…  lounger.  (head desk).  I forgot I had moved the ties off of my back so I wouldn’t have lines :/.  Yes those lines sure would have been embarrassing. I blame Tequila and all of his friends.

The join fee is 100L but that gives you access to the gorgeous current gift you see in the picture above plus all the past gifts (over 80 dresses) which you can pick up in a box nearby. This dress comes in all the standard sizes plus busty sizes, as well as Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, and fitmesh standards. You’re bound to find your fit. It’s perfect for a summery get away.

Have you stopped by the Hair Fair yet? Vendors are donating a portion of the profits to a good cause – Wigs for Kids – so its a good reason to spend some linden PLUS! many of the booths are giving beautiful gifts… like this gorgeous pony tail from Besom. This lovely mesh hair comes in essential colors and complimented my summery style rather nicely and was FREE no group required. Just stop by the booth and pick it up!

I decided I wanted some jewelry to add to my look, and found some pretty FREE items at Candy Crunchers that I really love. This is the Carissa Septum piercing and the Drop necklace. Either/or are yours FREE if you slap their respective Midnight Mania boards and they lockdown. Both boards lock down at just 50 slaps so get there early.
