What’s Next: Blossoming Into 2013?

Confession: I hate odd-numbered years. I know, I know; odd-numbered years are no different than even-numbered years, but hey, everyone’s got their “thing,” right? This just happens to be mine. Add to that the fact that next year has a 13 in it, and I can’t help but worry that we’re in for a bumpy ride! Thank goodness I’ve got Nessie – who’s not afraid of ANYTHING, by the way – to help ease my irrational, numerical fears!

Today I’m wrapping my fears in my fave color purple with this lovely, mesh, berry wrap dress and shoes by [Blossom], which are their December gifts for the Womenstuff Hunt. The November gift is also still available, so hurry over and get yourself an even-numbered 2-fer! The Womenstuff Hunt is loaded with fabulous gifts, and ends on January 2nd.

This gorgeous skin with shimmery shadow is from [Pink Fuel], and was their prize in the With Love Hunt, which I think ended on December 28th. Sigh… So I’m facing my fear by surrounding myself with these pretty New Year’s decor items from {what next}. Sassy! in London

Now that Christmas has come and gone, I suppose it must be time to take down all of these holiday decorations!  I love decorating for the holidays, but for some reason it doesn’t seem like as much fun when you have to wrap it all back up and pack it away for next year lol.  No worries, because I’ll look darn cute while I’m doing it!  Sassy! hooked me up with two new group gifts.  The first, shown above is a special gift for group members as Ivy is celebrating 10,000 members!  It includes the London Knit Jacket & Flippy Skirt, both of which are mesh.  The second gift is the London Shearling Jacket and Flippy Skirt.  This sexy mesh set is a Christmas 2012 gift for group members.  As always, the Sassy! inworld group is free to join.

I picked up these great mesh wedge boots at The Dressing Room Fusion for 100L.  To make it easy to match up with different outfits, they come in a fatpack of colours!

Champagne et Lumiere From Paris

Just in time for those New Year’s Eve parties, Paris Metro is offering some lovely gift gowns. This gorgeous gold gown, called Lumiere de ma Vie (that’s “light of my life,” in English), is a Christmas gift that includes a mesh ruffled top, flowing system skirt, and embellished gloves. You can find it – along with a handsome, men’s tweed suit – next to the outdoor stage in front of the art gallery.

This one, called Goddess Jewels Champagne, is a New Year’s gift. I love the wide, beaded belt, and the way it gracefully falls from one shoulder. To find this dress, you’ll need to go into the store and locate the desk near the window. It’s not hard to find, I promise!

The back is a bit of a surprise with an attractive, asymmetrical cut. Just low enough to add a little drama! 🙂

If you’re in the mood for something a bit less formal, you can also pick up this Little Satin Cocktail dress in copper from the desk. The skirt comes in 7 different mesh sizes; the rest of the parts are not mesh. This dress also has a sexy, low cut in the back, but you’ll need to go try it on to see for yourself. 😉 My long, luscious nails are by Izzie’s for Collabor88. Goodness, the designers of SL were so generous with their group gifts this holiday season! Dura put out this adorable winter toque with hair in a few colours (We all know how hard it is to fit hats with hair!!) as a free group gift for their inworld members (free to join).  There is also a men’s version so make sure you drag your guy along too!

The skin I am in is called Santa Skin / Christmas 2012 and is a free group gift from Mojo (also free to join).   It features a warm dark skintone, luscious plump lips and the sweetest dimples you ever did see.

Happy To Be Home!

Hiya Fabulouses! Do you have any idea why I am SOOOO excited that I am dancing around, singing happy tunes?  Well…

Wishing You a Merry Christmas… And Gifts from LMD

I can’t believe that Christmas is tomorrow – I just can’t wait! And all these presents under the tree reminded me to tell you about the great advent calendar gifts available at Leri Miles Designs. There’s been a new gift every day since December 1st, and they’re all still available! Not all of them are free though, but many of them are, and none are over 100L. This mesh blouse and mesh high-waist slacks are both from the calendar; I love the bow belt and the cute candle design. A Very Glitterati Christmas

I’m taking a quick break from the holiday decorating to show you this sexy group gift from Glitterati by Sapphire. It includes the top, skirt, belt, leather jacket, stockings, and Santa hat. I am supposed to be cleaning, and doing laundry and packing for my trip tomorrow..
