Flower Shower!

I love me a good fashion event in SL. I love them more when gifts or dollarbies are a part of it!!! The TWE12VE Event is one of my favorite. Great designers and really nice 12L dollarbies & even a freebie!!! I picked up this adorable “Lucky” dress from Shanti just in time for St. Patty’s Day (free gift, no group required), and these adorable Origami earrings from LooLoo & The Platypus to match. The earrings come in gold, silver, and variations of color with those metals. For 12L, you can’t go wrong! Twe12ve is running until March 31st.

This outfit, partnered with the cute Le Poppycock Pose, “Versions of April: Fragrance Fling” that I got off their amazing Next Up machines on a 75L pull, puts me in a Spring mood!

A revealing little number to start out with…

Hi FabFree! I’m Caroline and can I just say that I am SO excited to be part of the team here at FabFree! I have been following the blog since I started on SL and it is pretty surreal that I’m here. Thank you for having me!

Three Sexy Fatpacks

For my first post I am showing off a rather revealing little outfit I put together using the 1, 000 L gift card from Le Fashion Whore, which is available to pick up for FREE until January 31st. I combined three fatpacks to make this sexy outfit: the Sasha Spiked Bra, the Britney Belted Skirt, and the Kitty Panties for cover-up. I bought all three fatpacks with the card and still have a bit of extra credit left! The bra and skirt come with a 14 colour HUD, and the panties have 18 HUD colours and pattern options- so lots of combinations are possible with this set! Just a Little Insanity

I’m a sucker for a crazy outfit in SL, and this one is totally giving me life right now. It’s shiny, sexy, zippered, and just generally insane in all the right ways. Do you ever get excited about the fact we can wear pure insanity in SL? I know I do.

So Fab Free reader Karan whispered a tip in my IM box yesterday that made me head on over to Blossom. They’ve got a 1000L gift card just waiting to be snapped up on their main counter. Oh, What Fun It Is To Ride

Greetings, fabulous readers! I’m back in the saddle bringing more awesome gifts for you and your equine buddy!

Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Brrr, it’s cold on the trail today, but I’m staying warm and cozy in this beautiful coat. The Kabira Coat is the December group gift from Sevyn East and comes in the following sizes:

Not only does the coat come in this Christmas-y green color, but with the magic of a texture-change HUD, it also comes in blue, black, and a pretty purply-pink.

Note: the gift I picked up had an attachment problem with the HUD, but hopefully, that is fixed now. If it’s not, just rez the HUD on the ground and make your selection that way. It still works. 🙂

Horsin’ Around

Fergus is back in his horse body today after spending a few days as a stag, and he’s chomping at the bit to share some of his free finds with you:

Fergus’s antlers – with holiday ribbons and lights – are a gift from Jinx at The Chapter Four. There is also similar set for “hooomans” in the box.
If you have already purchased the Norse Gods Tack Set for your WHRH, there’s a free gift waiting for you at the Jinx store. The Xmas Texture HUD will turn your tack a pretty red and gold with a white blanket. There are versions for heavies as well as WB/QH in the box.
The Snowy Hoof Applier is a free gift from CINNAMON. You’ll find this – and several more WHRH gifts – under the Christmas tree at the Water Horse Mall.

Another gift from The Chapter Four is this hair from Blossom. The BMGH 02 Xmas Edition hair comes in 6 different colors and includes the Santa hat. It’s not labeled as unisex, but I think this hair could also be worn by fellas who like a longer look. One thing: there appears to be some sort of light built in, which you can see right under my hat where the hair parts. I could not figure out how to turn this off (no mod), but it’s really not a big deal.

My jewelry is a gift from Elle et Lui at The Chapter Four. The necklace and earrings are included. There is no resizer, but you can do a right-click > edit > stretch if you need to change the size.

Finally… my gloves are a gift from E-Clipse Designs. A texture-change HUD is included so you can change the color from black to brown or sand. The gloves are Bento-enabled, so you will need to remove your hands if you don’t want them showing through the gloves. Guys, there is also a version for you, which Carson showed off HERE.

What’s Next: Blossoming Into 2013?

Confession: I hate odd-numbered years. I know, I know; odd-numbered years are no different than even-numbered years, but hey, everyone’s got their “thing,” right? This just happens to be mine. Add to that the fact that next year has a 13 in it, and I can’t help but worry that we’re in for a bumpy ride! Thank goodness I’ve got Nessie – who’s not afraid of ANYTHING, by the way – to help ease my irrational, numerical fears!

Today I’m wrapping my fears in my fave color purple with this lovely, mesh, berry wrap dress and shoes by [Blossom], which are their December gifts for the Womenstuff Hunt. Sigh… So I’m facing my fear by surrounding myself with these pretty New Year’s decor items from {what next}.
